MISSION- Having a Blast: Rustboro
A bomb has been set in Rustboro City. Your mission is to find and defuse the bomb
(You will run into 2 bomb guys)

*Opens up wallet* “sigh…….. I seem to be a little low on cash these days this may be my last mission for awhile unless I find some less expensive means of transportation… it looks like now I can only afford a one way airplane trip at this point… oh well I have to make the best of it *runs over to mission board* unless *thinks to self for a few moments* “ I have to find a mission that I can catch a flying type easily in… *sits down with the briefing of each mission and compares the area to what pokemon are there at the time using my computer* “well look at that” I mumble to myself, Tropius are swarming near Rustboro the site of a mission that looks like it needs urgent attention… well I don’t know much about diffusing bombs but I sure know that Im flat broke *grabs mission briefing off my desk and confidently heads out the front door starting my next mission*.

Well its about 6 in the morning and I just reached the airport and got my ticket to Rustboro and my luggage checked, I didn’t bring much with my this time except my usual items, change of cloths and Sneasel, Absol, Vulpix and Treeko’s pokeballs assuming I may very well need them on this mission. As I board the crowded commercial airline plane I find myself stuck in the middle seat between two complete strangers so for the whole ride I pretend to be sleeping while thinking to myself “another reason Id prefer to be flying for free”.

Only about 2 hours later arriving at my destination I was already feeling the tension the insane bob people were causing, before I can even enter the city I had to prove to security guards that I was not a threat by showing them my mission briefing, but that wasn’t even enough they also had to search my backpack confiscating my wire cutters which did not help at all seeing my mission predicament. Finally entering the city it was like a ghost town where the only place still open was the pokemon center so that was the first place I looked to try to find some answers to what’s going on, as I enter the building I went to the front counter asking if someone here perhaps knew where the bomb was planted, the nurse at the counter went on to say that the bomb was planned to be detonated at the Devon corp. building and that’s why the area is so deserted, people are fearing the collapse of the gigantic building, and also the only reason she was still there was to help the already injured people and pokemon that tried to stand in the way of the people who set the bomb. The story along got me riled up enough to storm out the center and run straight into Devon corp. in search of the bomb not even knowing the layout of the building nor a hint on where the bomb is.

Upon entering I was greeted by a fiendish looking man who insisted to battle before I went any further, I tried to ignore him at first but then he ran over by the stairwell blocking any means I had to continue forward, so I agreed to his proposal and let him make the first move, he sent out both his Growlithe and his Pineco. Surprised to see his pokemon I yet again played along with his game also agreeing with the double battle so I sent out Absol and Vulpix to deal with this goon, before I could even give any orders to my pokemon his Growlithe already had used a small ember attack on Absol and Pineco began to shine then explode with tremendous force severely lowing both Absol and Vulpix’s health… after that attack I had Vulpix use Hypnosis on the remaining Growlithe seeing that Pineco had knocked itself out with its own attack putting Growlithe to sleep giving both of my Pokemon time to take a breath and recondition their thoughts after Pinco’s devastating attack. After a few moments Growlithe began to move in its sleep which was a sign it was going to awaken soon so I ordered Vulpix to use Dream eater on it zapping as much heath as she can before it woke up. Even after that attack it still did not make any attempt to wake up so I told Absol to follow up with a Shadow Claw attack knocking Growlithe out in its sleep. After the battle the goon still didn’t keep to his word and step out of the building willingly to be arrested so I took matters into my own hands and had Vulpix use Hypnosis on him then I took some loose rope out of my bag and tied him to a metal beam on the other side of the room.

The commotion in the lobby of the building was more than likely heard by the people who were setting up the bomb elsewhere in the building, so I went up two more floors to the highest floor and saw what had to have been the last of the goons setting up the bomb for detonation, at the same time he turned around and noticed me and yet again I was challenged to a battle… This time he only had one pokemon, and Arcanine and from the looks of it a powerful one and all I had left were two pokemon that were weak to fire and two fairly injured pokemon the odds did not seem to be on my side. So the battle began and I started out with Treeko hoping to at least have the speed advantage, but I couldn’t even have that seeing that he started with the move extreme speed knocking Treeko back and dealing a decent amount of damage. Treeko was able to counter with Dragon Claw hitting Arcanine directly on the spine tipping it over, but even on its back Arcanine was able to attack with a pillar of flames shooting from its mouth scorching and KO ing Treeko. Arcanine stood up and seemed to be unscathed by my attacks but I still had to persist on for the fate of the city so I sent out Sneasel and quickly ordered him to use Poison Jab in attempts to progressively injure Arcanine by inflicting it with poison, which by looking at him after the attack my preempts worked and poison jab left a wound in the body covered with dripping toxic juices. Arcanine still able to fight on again countered with Flamethrower leaving Sneasel with barely any health left but before I can strike back with a counter Arcanine followed up with Extreme speed knocking out Sneasel but also leaving even more time for the poison to seep into its system injuring it from the inside. I only had two pokemon left and not too many options left so I sent out Absol and had him use perish song before there was any chance for Arcanine to strike. Now all I had to do was draw out a few minutes before the poison kills him or the song either way I think I won… Arcanine looking pale from the last two attacks was beginning to stumble and tried to use iron tail on Absol but it missed leaving me time to get another last minute attack in because I doubt Arcanine will miss again from the distance its at now, for Absol’s more than likely last attack I had him use Rain dance dousing any chance for a fire attack counter. But as soon as Rain dance came into play Arcanine countered with Thunder Fang and knocked out Absol. With only moment left before Arcanine died from poison or the song I had no choice left but to send out Vulpix to finish him off, as soon as Vulpix came on the field I had her use Confuse ray to delay Arcanine for just a few moments longer until he finally collapsed to the ground along with Vulpix who used her last bit of energy to use that attack… as soon as the battle ended the goon set off a smoke bomb giving him a veil of smoke to sneak out on, rescue his partner in crime from the lobby and escape to go terrorize somewhere else, but that wasn’t my concern at the time my problem was the bomb on the desk a few feet away from me with a timer counting down from three minutes on it! I quickly ran over and dismantled the bomb making sure it didn’t explode in my hands, getting to the core of the bomb I came across 3 thin colored wires and 2 of them seemed to go to the timer so the last one must set it off, without my wire cutters handy I held the wire to my mouth and bit an indent into it making it easy to tear and making the bomb unable to explode. With the threat of the town’s safety done over with I walked out of the building dismantled bomb in hand and I returned to the Pokemon Center handing over all my pokemon and leaving the bomb on the counter asking the woman kindly please give this to the police when the come. After a few moments she handed me all four of my pokeballs and took the bomb and placed it under the counter saying “ thank you very much sir” and I replied “ no problem” and walked out.

Ready to walk to the airport and go home I remember why I came, and also that I had no money… so I went off in search for the main part of my mission, Tropius. As I reached a bridge on route 104 I noticed a large figure at the end of the bridge feeding off of a tree I knew at that moment it was what I was looking for and ran toward it as full speed almost falling in the crystal clear water along the way. At the end of the bridge Tropius finally spotted me and raised up on its hind legs like it was trying to challenge me, and it was a challenge I couldn’t deny. I then sent out my fully healed Vulpix so I had the type advantage to make it an easy battle, but I was in for the unexpected… before Vulpix could get in the first attack it had already flown up into the air and was shooting consecutive bullet seed attacks down at Vulpix and at least four of them were decent hits even though they weren’t to effective they still did decent damage to Vulpix’s health. Vulpix attempted to hit Tropius in the air with a Flamethrower attack but missed terrible allowing Tropius to dive to the ground with great speeds slamming Vulpix with its large wings. Vulpix still able to get up and fight sprung to her feet and I ordered her to end it quickly so she ran over to Tropius, ran up its wing then clamped on its back and used her Overheat attack cutting at least ¾ of Tropius’s health and leaving a scorching burn. Tropius then toppled over and I quickly returned Vulpix to her poke ball before she got squashed… then I pulled a poke ball out of my bag and flung it from a distance at Tropius and it shook violently three times on the ground before it stopped moving allowing me to pick it up and take it back to the pokemon center. After Vulpix got healed again and Tropius got its wounds treated I went back outside pulled out a map and showed Tropius where HQ was, got on its back and took a leisurely moonlit ride back to HQ.

*walks in*
Knuxy: ...It is my duty as being a member for so long to actually be here and to go on missions.
Batty: (laughs) as if that will ever happen.
Knuxy: it will eventually... (Runs off crying)

Batty: I wonder where all the good food is around here? (Flys off)
Knuxy: (In corner... of doom crying) was the my beloved brian i here? (turns around) BRIAN!!!! MY LOVE!!!

Pass. Decent length, a lot of content, good quality. Just a couple of points, first you had a nice wall of text, so breaking up some paragraphs would be good. Secondly, I would like a concluding paragraph. Finally, that Explosion should've hurt Growlithe a lot more. But keep the Tropius, get a rank-up, and keep the 500 PD.

*I get on the phone for a quick second*

Sport walks into HQ with his clothes tattered and Tyranitar holding an enraged Shadow Houndoom at bay. "Hey everyone... Long time no see..." he mumbles before walking into his room and changing his clothes. Then, walking out of his room with clothes covered in dust, he flops down on the couch, and dust goes flying everywhere.

"Hey Sport. Remember me?" Ginji asks as he walks into the room, coughing at all the dust in the room.
