Irvine Kinneas "My specialization? Guns and women, of course." Irvine watched as the interesting boy went off. He looked so skinny and weak but he packed quite a punch. That was quite useful. Blinking now to the sudden voice, his attention snapped to the figure in front of him. "..." He blinked. "..Uh... Okay..." Why do I have to do this? Is this guy for real? In a world like Gaia, or even his home world, you didn't see a guy dressed in a full ninja ensemble every day. "Well... I'm going to guess you're a ninja... What can you offer Avalanche? You can fight right?" For Ryu Hayabusa, that was an understatement. But still. "Your student seems a little young to be joining the infantry unit. We're only accepting sixteen and up to be in it. But he can stay in the mansion while the battle is going on." Of course being a ninja Kuroshi would likely have no trouble getting to the battlefield if he wanted to badly enough. (( OoC: ))

Hayabusa Ryu  I fight because there are poeple that need me to protect them
the horrors of the fiends cant be left unchecked,
the vigoor empire fell at my hands, and the dark dragon blade shatteredHayabusa nodded to who he assumed to be a gunslinger for he had a gun on his hip "well i can offer many thing, but rather then take time to explain some of my talents let me show you one" he then focused energy into a small area he made with his hands, the energy became blue in color and flowed into a sphere like shape then he pushed the energy out aimed to the sky above them "Torn Sky Blast" he said as he launched the beam of energy, then looked back to Irvine "that is one of my many skills, and you dont need to worry about my student, he meets your age requirments by a year" Kuroshi nodded to Irvine then walked on by him toward the mansion "besides I think I'd put up a better fight then some gun totting lover boy" he said as he walked along laughingUntil we meet again, train harder then mabey I can call you my ally but for now avoid me, trouble seems to follow me

Irvine Kinneas "My specialization? Guns and women, of course." Irvine crossed his arms, watching as he preformed his interesting little move. "Uh, nice... I'm guessing if that was against something it might actually do something." He grinned a bit at that. "Okay if you're ready willing and able, you can join. The barracks are where most of the volunteers go." He said. Then as the kid said what he did as he left, Irvine just chuckled. "I could hit a fly a hundred yards away with a sniper rifle, junior." Irvine was only seventeen, but honestly the kid looked really young. Turning his attention to the next one in line, he motioned for them to continue. "Next." (( OoC: ))

Cloud Strife "You just don't get it at all... There's not a thing I don't cherish!"   Blazing down the street, the motorcycle Fenrir drove into the city of Midgar. On it were two people, the familiar blonde warrior, Cloud Strife driving, and of course the likely terrified green haired young Esper, Terra Branford who was on behind him. The motorcycle sped past the long line of volunteers for Avalanche's infantry unit. Things must be dire if Zack's resorting to doing this. He thought to himself as he went past the line. I can't imagine the stress he's feeling... Actually when he had had a deadline to save the planet and defeat Sephiroth he had been going through a bit of stress himself. But he knew how hard things had been on Zack ever since he came back, and even before that when he had had to look after the mako-poisoned Cloud while going back to his love and battling Genesis all at once. Fun times. It was astonishing how Zack was typically able to keep his cheerful disposition going. Though currently he wasn't quite as cheerful as he generally was. Which would later prompt Cloud to take action, most likely.
For now, however, the blonde turned the Fenrir as he came to the outside of Avalanche Mansion, hitting the brakes as he did and causing it to skid to a stop. Removing his goggles, he glanced over his shoulder at his lovely passenger. "How was that?"  (( OoC: ))

  Poor Cloud, Terra had not let that ever so tight little hold on him go since the Fenrir first roared to life and sped off at near top speed! He would probably have little finger marks on his sides where she had been gripping the entire long drive. Her hair was quite messy, the wind was against her when it came to speeds that evil motor bike went.
As they came to a stop outside the large castle, known as the mansion to everyone, the young Esper still didn't quite let go right away, until moments after he spoke, she could sense the little teasing in his voice, as she quickly slid her self off, and hopped to land! ...Only to have her legs give out on her due to sitting for such a long period of time.This was normal, for one like her who wasn't quite so used to such prolonged sitting. The Magetik Armor wasn't that bad, she could still move her feet, and have some freedom, as apposed to a motorbike. "I think I will fly next time! " Slowly getting herself to stand, she brushed the little bits of dirt from her knees, then proceeded to run a hand through her messy wind-crazed hair. ".....I think I have bugs in my hair! " It was likely, too! "How bad is it?" She asked, blushing as she turned back to him. Where was a comb when you really needed one?

Cloud Strife "You just don't get it at all... There's not a thing I don't cherish!" The poor half-Esper seemed almost petrified by the experience that Cloud went through all the time. It was rather amusing. As she hopped off, and fell down due to losing a bit of strength in her legs, Cloud let out a little grunt of amusement. "You look like you just went through the most horrifying experience of your life." Which may have been accurate, knowing Terra. "I'm guessing your world doesn't have motorcycles." He continued. Parking the Fenrir, he stepped off the motorcycle, looking at her. "You look beautiful." He said softly. Obviously he wasn't the one to talk to about hair. He was a guy. She should find Aerith if she wanted to talk about that. Of course, no matter what she did look beautiful, so it wasn't like he was lying. (( OoC: ))

"Well....I've never been on such a thing! The Magetik Armor is very large, and also slow. The fastest moving way of transportation I've ever been on was my friend Setzer's airship. " She looked from the motorcycle for a moment, partly in disbelief she ever got on such a thing! "You really like to..ride in that device? " She asked as she continued to 'fix' her hair, using the motor cycle's mirror to see how well she managed to get her hair looking at least decent enough so she didn't look like she just walked out of a tornado! Then, standing straight, her smile returned as she stepped forward in front of Cloud, suddenly wrapping her arms around him. "Hee,hee. I'm so glad we are off that thing! " As she let him go, her eyes drifted to the mansion, as she slipped her arm under his as to lightly hold onto him. "..Um...I don't really know well, probably everyone that is inside that castle of yours...I haven't been in this world very long to get that chance. Are they kind? " There was a small hint of nervousness in her voice, a shyness suddenly seemed to be gathering. There must have been a lot of people in there, and all she could think of was, would she be accepted?

Cloud Strife "You just don't get it at all... There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "Well," Cloud said. "Fenrir here isn't quite as fast as an airship, but he's my favorite mode of transportation." What a weird person Cloud could be. As if Fenrir was an actual being. "Of course. I grew up around stuff like this so I can understand that you don't get it." Since she grew up in a very different world and environment. As she hugged him and said that, he got a slightly annoyed expression. "That's my custom made motorcycle, thanks." Not like he was really mad, just that felt a little rude! After she let him go, he patted the motorcycle comfortingly. "She doesn't mean it, Fenrir..." It was a wonder if he was just trying to make Terra confused or actually was like this tot he motorcycle. Maybe he got lonely. As she slipped her arm under his, he blinked. "Y-yeah, nicest people on the planet. Trust me, especially to off-worlders. Zack Fair is the most bright and friendly guy you'll ever meet, just," He pointed at the ShinRa Building. "That's the ShinRa Building. Like I said, avoid it at all costs, and if you have to go in there, take me with you just in case." He began walking towards the mansion. "Don't worry, Terra. They'll love you..." He said to assure her everything would be fine. Terra was quite lovable, after all. (( OoC: ))

Terra's head tilted ever so slightly, was he talking about his motorbike? Being a he? "..He? Fenrir? It must be really special to you, if you've given it a name..That's so cute, Cloud!" Surely he didn't think so, but this was Terra, she found the most strangest things as 'cute'! As she let him go, his irritated expression caused a small laugh to slip. "I'm sorry.......Sorry Fenrir! " She too, joined in on the patting of the motorbike, still finding it a little amusing, and trying despritly to hide it! Of course she would never want to insult him, or his beloved treasures.
After taking his arm and holding onto it, the young Esper smiled faintly, releived to hear those words." I feel a little more at ease knowing that, thank you..." Looking into the direction he had pointed to, Terra's eyes set upon the building of ShinRa Tower. "Alright..I don't think I would have any reason to go there, but I will stay away." Finally as they began walking to the mansion, she let go of his arm, walking beside him close, but, not holding onto him or his hand. She was afraid she might embarrass him in front of all his friends, so in respect to him, Terra would resist that urge to keep as close as possible. "..I hope so.."

 Agrias Oaks Agrias watched the pair of ninjas enter the Mansion and sighed a bit in relief coming up to Irvine's table. Tired blue eyes greeted the cowboy gunslinger, as the blonde paladin spoke, "Excuse me, Sir. May I enter so that I may get some rest in my room? ... I'm forgetting my manners, I am Lady Agrias Oaks of the Lionsguard." With that short statement, the armored warrioress gave a curt bow.

   Else where in Midgar, a faint scream could be heard from the dark streets of the slums area as a young pig-tailed girl of chestnut brown hair fell roughly to the ground, holding her arm where a deep slash appeared to be, the crimson blood slipping through her fingers as she held it, the girls pained eyes filling with tears as in front of her, a group of four much older teenage men stood there, each bearing there own weapons. One had a knife, another a short sword, which now had the blood of it's victem here on its blade, another had what looked like a spiked ball and the last a fighting staff by the looks of it. Men had stooped so low to attack an unarmed defensless girl, as well as much younger then them. She was only thirteen, though her appearence and the cheerful high-spirited nature always thew that number down a few. She was a happy child at heart!
Atop her shoulder was a small soft blue in color dragon, which now angrily flew up, flapping it's little wings and attempting to shoot off a not so powerful beam of holy energy at them, which they easily dodged. But then Ruby reached out, grabbing it out of it's defensive behavior and clutching the small dragon close to her. "N-No..! Don't...They'll get you...I'm not letting you go! " She said to the little dragon, glaring toward the men. "You won't take her from me!!" Ruby wanted to get up and run, but she was just to afraid to make a move, fear was keeping her frozen. "Asunaa! Onee-san..!! " She yelled, hoping her older sister would hear her desperate call of help before these men ether killed her, or took her dragon as they were after it. The one with the sword began to advance toward her again, raising the weapon for her head!

Kenji SaiHiro "As long as you stand beside me... I will survive!"   "Blade Skill: Dissection." A voice came from behind the teenage one about to attack the little girl, and suddenly he would feel a sword stab through the center of his midsection, and then send a pulse through his body, causing all of his organs to fail simultaneously, his heart to rupture and shatter, and his brain to literally explode. It wasn't a pleasant feeling. But that person deserved it.
Before any of the others could regroup and attack, he raised his sword again, slashing through one of their jugulars, cutting one of their hands off, then stabbing the last through where he was pretty sure was their heart. Then, drawing the blade back, he looked at the one still alive but missing his hand. "Spread the word. Anyone who wants to pick on the weak or helpless will answer to ME. Then swiftly after they'll answer to Death." There was a reason he didn't often, or really ever, divulge for his desire to protect helpless people. After that one had likely ran away, he slashed the blood off the Enigma Sword, sheathing it and turning to the little girl. "Are you alright? I'll escort you to your house." He offered. Of course, her home was a looong way away and underwater so that would likely be a difficult thing to do.
Looking at the heavily armored blonde who approached, Irvine blinked. Typically any new girl he saw he would instantaneously flirt with, but for some reason he had a feeling he might get hurt a little if he did that with this girl. "Uh, I am... Irvine Kinneas of... The... Balamb... Uh... Oh! I'm Irvine Kinneas, slayer of evil sorceresses!" That sounded at least a LITTLE cool. Even if it was a little inaccurate. "If.. You're already a member of Avalanche you don't have to wait in a line, you can just go in you know." He said, having to grin a little. It would suck to wait in a line for so long and then learn that. Not as much as having Irvine here's job, but hey.   (( OoC: ))

Agrias Oaks Agrias guessed that this man was a bit of a charmer by the way his eyes appraised her. Fortunately, the gunslinger had enough sense to keep whatever possible carnal thoughts to himself... at least that's what the blonde paladin guessed. Still, her blue eyes didn't note anything like Irvine even attempting to 'undress her with his eyes,' but the holy knight would let time tell of Irvine Kinneas' character. Smiling at the gunslinger, Agrias gave a slight nod of respect, "Thank you, Mr. Kinneas. I'll be going in then... Oh! By any chance, have you seen a black robed samurai with bright spiky red hair called Kiyoshi. I fought alongside him during this siege of the city. We cut through many of their troops, their 'tanks' I think you call them, and dispatched one of the invaders' 'cruisers' I believe that's what the airship was called."

 The last remaining man there ran off, he began running away just before Kenji even could finish those words, though he did hear every word.Meanwhile, the younger girl seemed to be trying to avoid looking downward, where the bloody scene laid out in front of her,dead body's and blood didn't mix so well with her. This being the first time she had ever watched anyone die! While at the same time, Ruby looked up to the darkly dressed young man who saved her. " ....T-Thank you..I'm okay.." She managed to say softly, the fear in her eyes began to fade as she began to get to her feet, her grip on Blue, as she called her little dragon, losing to a soft hold now, which was already beginning to cast a little healing spell on her. A sparkle of soft white lights flowing around her wound, before it began to heal up. Stepping closer to him, he would suddenly feel his arm grabbed, though lightly, Kenji here had suddenly become her 'security blanket'! "...I..um..We can't go to my house..It's really far away, and under water..." Looking up at him again as she held on to him, he would now see sad,pitiful eyes set on him. "C-Can I stay with you for a while? I'm afraid the one who ran away might come back! They...they wanted my dragon...She's my dearest most important friend, Blue..I'm --"
"Ruby!!" Came a familiar voice from a distance away, and if they turned to look they would see a older girl, who looked to be in her late teens running to them. Kenji may of recognized her from Avalanche, as the one who was watching him up in the tree. The girl wore a nice set of armor, all white with red trimmings, along the skirt were small red crosses, as well as the detached fancy sleeves. Normally, she would have her weapon trained on the teen there, but seeing how Ruby was clinging to him, she could quickly piece together, that by the dead bodies there, he had saved her little sister before she got the chance to. Ruby had instantly let go of Kenji, and now ran into Asuna's arms as they hugged, only the older one finally let her sister go, her hands resting on Ruby's shoulders as she turned to Kenji. "You....The one I saw from Avalanche mansion....You saved my sister..? I am in you're debt..I can't believe people of this city..." Shaking her head softly, the light brown haired teen raised her hand now, holding it out for him, in the form of a greeting. She didn't know what kind of person he was, if he didn't take this form of greeting, it was understandable. Not everyone liked to shake hands. "Thank you..For helping her, I'm always here for her but this time...I can say I wasn't the best sister in the world if I couldn't get to her, Thank goodness you did.."

 "Dont call me Jory!!!" Alphonse merely said," Midgar is a strange place. Its not as clean and normal as other places." The blonde teen smiled kindly back at Vira, petting Kasiya gently. He closed his eyes and let the wind hit him now, he could smell the air here and he sighed. It was horribly polluted and such.
