 Wow, going back a few posts to catch up! Deep in music, welcome to Gryffindor! I love Dreamgirls, too, but I've only seen the movie, not the play. I love the music! Mia, you can put a banner inside your post, for your guild or for Haven. Like I did here. If you have Firefox, you can have it done automatically each post, and you can choose 3 different styles and images and choose which one of the 3 each time. I wish Gaia didn't have such a limited size for signatures, but then your signature gets repeated everywhere you've posted, and I guess some have hundreds of posts or thousands so they have to limit it. I just re-read the rules for the Dueling Club banner contest. Everyone who enters gets 5 points. I have about 4 or 5 good images, and it's easy for me to make simple banners. So if anyone is challenged banner -making, I can make them for you. I can also do one with your own image. The only thing I'm not so good at is thinking up sayings to put on the banner. So if we have 4 or 5 more of you that's 25 or 30 points to Gryffindor!!!

Music, your Gryffindor pride avy is limited to your own inventory if you're entering the contest... if you're doing it just because that's ok... did you know about the contest?

No I didn't, I'm just doing it, but not for the contest. I don't think I have enough stuff in my inventory right now.

Nah, I didn't really have anything Gryffindor-like, but I'm sill going to try to make that avi just for fun. It'll take a REALLY long time though, because I have 29,052 gold right now, and I think it's about 56k...whatever. biggrin

Wow hee hee good luck with that! Are you good at doing anything, like banners or avy art or anything like that? Or do you like tekteking? If you go to this one guild, The Gaia Job Center, you can join it and post a thread offering to do one of those things for a certain amount of gold. You can even bump threads! That's how I got the money for my avatar, I posted one saying I could draw, and this girl sent me an application to work in her shop as an artist!

Ah, but there's another contest that you don't have to use things from your inventory. I forget the number, but you make two Tek-teks. 1 is a Tek-tek of the Head of House 2. is a House student and you dress them both in House colors, and you can use anything from Tek-Tek. By the way, should we call you "Music" or something else? I'm with Mia, I like to type shorter names!

Hm... how much have you missed?
Right now we're having House Appreciation Month, check out the thread with that title to check out all of the totally awesome events and contests...
And if you already knew that, then, aside from the usual new additions to the guild, I don't think you really missed anything at all....

Oh my gosh! All these ancient threads started pooping up again! Its very funny...for oldies like Mia, and I. Mis do you remember Cedrothx? (Sp?) She was a friend during the dark ages, she just came back to gaia! I hope she comes back to the guild!
