"I am just fine." he said cheerfully. Coming round, he saw they were hugging and that Ziven seemed upset. With a wink to Seisuke, he decided to tease them a little. "Say there, are you upsetting my daughter?" he asked with a big grin, knowing Ziven wouldn't see.
Sitting bolt upright when she heard Brom speak, her eyes were to the floor, looking very shy and Brom was right about her not seeing him. "Seisuke-ona is lovely, he has not upset me. If anyone has, I have upset myself. Worry not." she said softly, addressing Brom though she still did not call him father often as she should.

"Oh! No, honestly, Seisuke-ona, you were not!" she said moving a bit closer to him, resting her hands on his hand, hoping he would believe her.
With a gentile chuckle, Brom seated himself beside Ziven, opposite of Seisuke. "My sweet daughter, we are teasing. Please, be relaxed and know we mean you no stress." he said as he wrapped one arm around her shoulder, the other around her waist, hugging her lovingly as he kissed the top of her head.
Turning towards Brom as he hugged her, she too wrapped an arm around his waist, burying her face against his chest. "The teasing confuses me, Father, though I understand now."

He let go wondering if he should to such a close moment. After just a few seconds he sat again on the chair looking at them both just admiring the view for the time being.*

"My precious daughter, you require rest. I will take you to your sister." he said as he lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to her room. Returning a moment later he wore a more serious expression. "She is so hard on herself ... do you know what happened?"

"Her obsession with him confuses me." he admitted as he ran his hand over his face before through his hair. "I don't suppose you've an idea about it? Honestly, if he's stopped bullying her, she should not be fighting with him, right? Perhaps I am missing something."

Is rather simple. Yawg gets bored and wants to like polish the rust on his combat skills. Since Ali has no time for him he most likely turns on the only person who would not attemp to negate his request or to try to underhand some trick or to kill him for the sake of he being an evil creature. Ziven's Naive nature is perfect for him to abuse. Most likely he wants to turn her in a second Yawgmoth. Thats my opinion in this matter.

"Her heart is very fragile .. yet I do not believe that she could ever .. turn to become someone even remotely like him." he said softly, running his hands over his face and through his hair. "She is so passionate, she may not see the lines between business and pleasure, so to speak. I worry of this thought even more with her relationship with Hunter. They both are quite young and I wonder if they're more attracted to each others power and strength, rather than truly feeling a sexual connection. Quite honestly, I know Ziven loves him deeply but I do not know that she is in love with him. Then again .." he sighed deeply, again cupping his face with his hands before running his fingers through his hair. "This is my fault."

"I didn't teach her how to be loved." he said with a bit of a frown on his lips. This was not directed at Seisuke nor at Ziven but to himself. His light gray eyes stared unfocused in to the corner of the room, his hands resting politely on his legs, thinking more on what he said and of what he was trying to express. "She loves .. truly, deeply, to so many, she loves them. She doesn't know love in return .. any action or words more than dismissal or cruelty is seen as a return of her love. This is endearing but misplaced." he said softly, inhaling deeply.

I understand what you just said just that you say it like it is your fault. It isn't more this come naturally. Love is not teached, affection is not teached on naturaly displays affection or love. You can advice or "teach" but at the end it is more likely that you just built moral views of how it is. Love is felt and is an incredible feeling. I know she treats other afections like it is love that i know very well. Think about in dragon years she is nothing more than a youngling that not even mating should be on her mind. Dragons lives thousands of years old i bet she will learn and with proper guidance from you too. You have much time to help her. Don't fret in the past, learn absorb the positive and discard the negative. Think of yourself and archer and she the arrow. Arrows never go in straight line unless an archer with great aim directs them. Be that archer aim her to learn and know and she will direct her heart to whats right to the bullseye.

"Ys .. though, in theory, she should be about ready to mate safely. Dragons usually begin to desire to mate in their second or third year of life. On the other side .. elves do not even begin showing interest until they are nearly 50 years of age, they will not mate until they are at least 100 years old. But .. for both .. her destiny is clear in the means of mating, she will bear a child when she first mates." he said softly, looking concerned at this. Truthfully, he was happy and supportive of everything that she would want but her safety was important above all else.

Why are you concerned with her mating? That should be in other perspective. You wish children? *he ask curious* I only hoped that she doesnt fall in wrong hands, yet i wish it was i who she would be in love with.
