Greta wandered into the coffee shoppe and ordered an espresso romano. Once she recieved it, she turned and looked to the empty tables, quickly deciding to go sit at the table closest to a random blonde girl she spotted. Greta sat down and looked at her drink, mumbling.

Arashi glanced over to Greta and gave a polite smile. Hi there, she said as she sipped her drink through her straw.

Greta looked to Arashi. Hi, she replied, picking up the wedge of lemon her drink came with and biting a piece of it away from the rind. She eyed the girl up and down, noticing her horns and tail. Like fuschia much? she chuckled as she squeezed the rest of her lemon into her espresso.

Fuschia is a good color, I like it, Arashi said. Like purple much? she giggled as she looked over the other girl.

My favorite, Greta winked as she sipped at her espresso. So you're part dragon or something? You breath fire?

I am part dragon, yes. I can breath fire, but it's not pretty and I get a sore throat if I do it too much, Arashi said with a small smile. I haven't done it in years though. Not since I was maybe fourteen.

Years ago, when you were fourteen? How old are you now? Greta asked, raising an eyebrow. She turned in her seat to better face the blonde, her espresso in hand. You can't possibly be very much older than fourteen.

Well, I'm seventeen now, Arashi said with a nod. So I'm not much older than that, but it was a while ago, if you consider how my kind ages, she added with a nod.

And how does your kind age? she asked, taking another sip, some of it dripping into her large stomach. Greta looked down at the drops of coffee that landed on her stomach. Oh geez, she mumbled, grabbing a napkin and wiping at them.

Ten years per one mortal year, Arashi said with a nod. My sister and I are the only ones who age like that, though, she added. We get it from our dad. Our mom ages... very strangely.

Yeah? Greta tossed the stained napkin onto the table. So you're like a hundred... and seventy years old now? She tilted her head in thought, setting her cup onto the table. My mom ages strangely, too. She's like a bazillion years old or something.

My mom is like a bazillion years old, too, Arashi laughed before slurping the last drink through her straw.

Is your mom a demon? Greta asked, taking a sip from her cup but keeping her eyes on the other girl. Or at least a demon... reincarnation?

Nope, my mom is an angel, Arashi said, giggling. Muchly the opposite of a demon, hmm? She gestured to wait a minute before she got herself another berry frappucino and a cranberry muffin.

Indeed, Greta laughed, setting her cup back onto the table. My mom's a demon, so I was wondering... She stretched before setting a hand on her stomach. Damn baby, always giving me pain, she mumbled before chuckling. So is your mom a real angel, or is an angel inhabiting her body?
