Aun-el Shi-ores i think tau is the coolest race there is i mean cmon mechs and kroot I think hooked on phonics is the coolest race.(I know, I make spelling mistakes, leave that alone)

That or posting more related things. This is the tau thread, its pointless to say to a bunch of (most likely) tau players "I love the tau because of blah reason", just like when someone does this in the marine thread and so on. Pretty redundant. In any thread lurking is a wonderful thing.

Of all the armies I fight. I have the biggest trouble beating the Tau. Mainly one guy I play has 6 crisis suits, 3 broadsides, 2 devilfish stocked with fire warriors, a hammerhead, and twin-links EV. RY. THING.
So, even though I want to destroy you, I salute you for being a DAMN HARD OPPONENT TO KILL.

So taking that into effect, I thought it would be best to ask instead of assume.

Destroyers are amazing against the tau, zoom and start skinning. Tau fear the destroyers more than the monolith. waiths are too fragile, but a cheap alternative I guess. it's kinda rare to hear about a 3 man broadside team, but i guess there it is. Necron Lord with veil of darkness or destroyer body works awesome. in conjunction with the destroyers. don't bother with the heavy destroyers though, point sink for a weapon that hits only once and probably wasted due to the skimmer glance rule of the Tau tanks.

Yeah, Destroyers are more danger than a Monolith to Tau, but Wraiths and Scarabs make GREAT assault units vs.Tau. Nothing can outrun them, and terrain doesn't slow them down. HellecticMojo it's kinda rare to hear about a 3 man broadside team, but i guess there it is. Not really. since the Advent of the Stabilization System and the Close Protection rule for Shield Drones, Broadsdes have gotten a boost in popularity. I run a three man team myself. HellecticMojo Necron Lord with veil of darkness or destroyer body works awesome. in conjunction with the destroyers. ehh... not so much. Lord with Veil is better for zapping around a squad of Immortals than Destroyers, and a Destroyer Body Lord shouldn't be given the Veil. HellecticMojo don't bother with the heavy destroyers though, point sink for a weapon that hits only once and probably wasted due to the skimmer glance rule of the Tau tanks. The single worst piece of advice you could give vs. Tau specifically. Of course the lascannon equivalent that Heavy D's get isn't as useful against Hammerheads or Devilfish as a horde of Gauss spam, but you're ignoring how ridiculously useful it is against Crisis Suits. It's a lascannon on a Jetbike, and Crisis Suits cannot hide from it. A Crisis attempting to hide behind terrain from a Heavy D will just get shot in the a** and succumb to Instant Death. Heavy D's are invaluable when playing against the Tau.
