Best fire-soak HQs are Winged Daemon Princes of Nurgle or Tzeentch. Nurgle is harder to wound (at T6) and Tzeentch is more survivable against heavy weapons (4+ Inv).

Van Evok summoned greater daemon is very fine firesoak for its cost... and doesnt take a hq slot smile Yeah but summoned daemons still require you to pay the point cost. Its always quite annoying when you sacrifise some points for a model that always comes from reserve, and that model you placed in prime position for possesion gets gunned down by some cheap shot.

Yeah, Tzeentch Daemon Princes are my way to go. Bonus points if you make them look scary, too! biggrin Seriously, I've noticed that people shoot at the showcase models of an army, like stuff that's converted a lot. They tend to think that you'd rather them stay alive for the action. My friends like to gloat whenever they kill "Fluffy", my own precious Daemon Prince with his single wing and his giant Defiler arm. They don't realize that they wasted so much time shooting at him that I've gotten Berzerkers, Thousand Sons, and Terminators in position to maul everything. And I mean everything.
@Girs-freak: Make sure you put the Champion you want to summon from in a large unit. Berzerkers work nicely as you want them in combat anyways. biggrin And also, just make sure you have a lot of options, and don't be afraid to rid yourself of an HQ model. It's so unexpected that your opponent would have no idea how to react. Yeah, if it isn't already obvious, I'm a mean person who likes to play a lot of mind games. o3o

Uhm, could someone please remove that image, I'm all for pretty sculpts but showing tits like that can get us into trouble. BIG trouble. Just post a link to the model, preferably with a NSFW warning attached to it.

Inquisition cleansed the picture, though warp-residue remains to be studied by those with authorisation... Also more of manga-esque chaos army to look at on my friiends picasa site.

Yeah...just remember that there are rules around and about this place, and that being a guild doesn't make us exempt form the ToS. This site is PG-13 nowadays.

Tits are tits, fake or real, they are a breach with the rules here. We can't have the guild removed because of something as silly as a pair of milk sacs.

Oh, trust me, I know. sweatdrop It just kind of makes me laugh that people seem to have a huge lack of maturity about a pair of boobs. Congrats, it's the most flaunted part of a women, probably seen more than their heads.
