Obaa-chan Hello~! XD I'm a freshman at Firestone High School[Akron,OH], and I play clarinet for marching! Yaaay. Uh... I whack myself in the nose with my mouthpiece while doing horns up/down drills at Band Camp... o_o OH! Story time~! Well, in 7th grade our band director told us to get new mouthpieces and ligatures, to help our sound... so, I did, and it worked, and I was happy especially cause my old one sucks.... but then one day, my clarinet was gone from the cabinet! O_O I looked all over, and found it in the trumpet section.. it was fine, except for the fact that they BROKE my new mouthpiece! crying It made me very sad. I'm still playing on my old one now, cause I can't get a student discount anymore. Well,that was a fun story. Who here chews on new reeds?! *raises hand* biggrin I do,they taste kinda warm..like paper. I eat paper too, but not if it has ink on it. Who here is going to the BOA thingy in Indianapolis? We're planned to go, but I really have no idea what's going on. sweatdrop YAAAY *CHEER* *too enthusiastic*i have played my clarinet for 2 years yeah i know. it is not alot! anyways i am really mad at the kids that say guard and band aren't sports! seriously i busted my lip with my mouthpiece not only did it hurt like hell i also had a fat lip! gur!!!! scream anyways i heart band domokun

I'm Gaby, I also play clarinet...i have been playing sice the beginning of 5th grade and i've stuck with it!! and so far its been over 6 years...and the best.....its also my 2nd year of playing bass clarinet....its really fun... 3nodding
and marching band is so bad-a** and i love it so much!! and its my 2nd year in it as well...i can't wait til next marching season... blaugh

heh. I am a Sophomore at SSP high school in Minnesota and I am first chair in the clarinet section. WOO! i have also participated in marching Band and Pep band and also Drumline. I have played since 4th grade so about 7 years or so. YAY CLARINETS UNITE! heart

Hello im Emily, i play the clarinet as well this is my 5 th year playing and im in 9th grade. i also play the alto clarinet and its my second year playing 3nodding smile biggrin razz eek

Hello, I've been playing the clarinet since 6th grade and I'm currently in the 9th grade. I am in the marching band of my school. Our band name is Soundpower. I also played the bass clarinet in the 8th grade.

my name is STEPH and ive played my clarinet [Billy Bob] for...3-4 years? been playing since the 6th grade and now im in the 9th grade! so far, i love bein in a high school band! it kicks the junior high band's a**!

I am Greendaygirl, and I have played clarinet for 5 years now, and am coming up on my second marching season. I also play the alto sax, piano, guitar, and a little flute. I recently discovered the most wicked awsome instrument on the face of the earth: the e-flat alto clarinet. Not the contra alot clarinet. The alto clarinet. Does anyone else out there play this instrument? If so, would you PM me, because I ahve to play it for Ratings, and I am new to it. I ahve played it for about two weeks, and I know the notes but that's about all I know about it. Anywho, I am with the Buffalo High Band of Blue (or band of few, whichever you prefer. we've only got 20 ppl!) and yes, my clarinet and I both have nicknames. I am known as Wonka, and my clarinet is currently undergoing a name change.

heart yep and hello fellow clarinetests!!!!! im a clarinet tooo!!!!! xd and im a sophmore in high school! 3nodding i've been in band since fifth grade [thats about 6-7 years-ish of it and i love it!!!!!] heart whee and i been in the marching band for 3 years and its sooo much fun!!! heart domokun xp 4laugh whee xd 3nodding
