Sid the Bear Trying to get my investments reorganized for tax purposes and my one account switched funds no problem but my other one still hasn't cleared even though I got notification that it was approved so now my portfolio is out-of-balance...and I might lose dividends if I have to resubmit the transaction and it doesn't clear by next week. I'll check again tomorrow when the 3 business days max wait time is over but it's frustrating (though I'm at a training session tomorrow morning for work so I'll have to wait until lunch). This is stressing me out. Online banking is suppose to easy and quick.

I resubmitted the one transaction that didn't go through even though I got an email saying it was approved and it got cancelled/rejected. So I tried to split it into 2 different funds and one got rejected. Still not sure if the other half went through but this is super annoying. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing since I'm a certified accountant and especially since I also asked a financial planning & tax expert for a second opinion before I started moving my investments around. Getting blocked by the bank's robot/ 'advisor' comparing it to an out-dated profile that only applies to one investment without looking at the rest of my portfolio is frustrating as hell. And I"m not wasting an hour of time that I don't have to go in just to sit and tell them to do what I could do online because their service is so stupid.

I am sure that you have documentations and copies to show their incompetence?
Also, with said documents', I feel that a law suit is in need.

Decided to do a different set of transactions to get my dividend fund back so I get that income for the month since it doesn't really matter which funds go in what accounts for the non-registered stuff. One got processed so waiting to see if it gets posted and the other one hasn't come through yet but I'm hoping it's not an issue.

Success! All my accounts are in order. Now for my boyfriend to hook up with a seller so I can add precious metal to my portfolio and I'll be well diversified and tax planned.

It's been so hot and smoky here that it's almost unbearable taking transit when it's rush hour (there's a few forest fires down south). Makes it hard to breathe if you're outside for a while or doing anything physical.

No, it's just smoke from forest fires in the next province over. It's just lingering longer than previous years because we're having record hot temperatures for a longer than usual length of time this year and no rain or wind to get rid of the smoke.
