Panel 1: (Yuuko is sitting a few feet away from a television set. We see her from behind the television.)
Panel 2: (Kazuki walks into the room, hands in his pockets as he stares over at Yuuko.)
Kazuki: “What’re you watching?”
Yuuko: “I’m watching an anime in Japanese with English subtitles.”
Panel 3: (Kazuki is behind Yuuko, still standing, with his hand raised up to his chin, thinking while looking.)
Kazuki: “That’s actually a good idea. It might familiarize you with English quicker than a book…”
Yuuko: (Turns around to look at Kazuki.) “Watch it with me!”
Panel 4: (Kazuki sits down next to Yuuko and watches the television.)
Kazuki: “Might as well.”
Panel 5: (Kazuki watches the television, his left eyebrow raised, and Yuuko simply watches the television.)
Panel 6: (Kazuki has his jaw open, staring at the television in disbelief. Yuuko is still only watching.)
Kazuki: “Is this…?”
Yuuko: “Yaoi, yeah.”
Panel 7: (Kazuki immediately stands up, looking over at Yuuko while also pointing to the television.)
Kazuki: “This is NOT going to teach you how to learn English!”
Yuuko: (Yuuko is looking at Kazuki in the face, still sitting down.) “The subtitles are in English! It’s doing a GREAT job!”
Panel 8: (Kazuki is now turned towards Yuuko, eyes drooping slightly while still looking down at her with his fists on his side.)
Kazuki: “There haven’t been any subtitles for a whole minute! How is THAT teaching you English?”
Yuuko: “It’s taking a break from the subtitles for a few minutes.”
Kazuki: “A ‘break’ implies they’re coming back…”
