Gryffindor!  There at the Gryffindor table in the great hall , sat a curly-haired third year Gryffindor who looked rather sulky and not very much appealing with her lips pouting and her cheeks stuffed with muffins "FOURTH BLOODY TIME! I CAN'T BELEIVE IT!" she yelled in her irish accent to no one in particular simply trying to let out her desperation , her words barely understood from the food in her mouth.Val slammed the table with her fist making a loud noise and the plates near her fist shook violently.She stood up suddenly with a mad look on her face ,defficultely swallowed her muffins with a cough and walked outside the hall muttering "I can't believe it! I just can't bloody believe it..."OoC: please excuse the shitty layout , I'm in a hurry!

Ami walked into the Great Hall when an apparently very angry Gryffindor student passed, with her face stuffed with muffins. Something horrible must have happened she thought. How sad sad She then sat at the Ravenclaw table, patiently awaiting her friend Zoe, who she had told to meet her here. To pass the time, she spooned some pudding onto her plate yum_puddi and began to eat.

Donavon nodded and walked up with Ayamae to the great hall. He headed towards the staff table with her, and as promised, did his best to return to normal by piling his plate high. He felt a bit bad for deceiving Lillian telling her he was 120 when he was only around 10 pounds better off than when he got here. Most people he knew, wouldn't be walking or doing an exercise to lose weight when they desperately needed to gain, but he wasn't like most. He was determined to weigh just as much as he did before, and he had been skinny in the first place just not starved, but he wanted the muscle back. He didn't want to risk breaking a bone every time he bent over, was sick of not being able to life the lightest things. He'd gain as he worked out, he'd return to better than normal. He'd walked far enough in his condition, what was just walking around Hogwarts in comparison?
He took a goblet full of wine and took a few gulps from that as well.
"So how's potions going?" He asked, trying to say something casual and start a conversation.

Ayamae shrugged as she cut into some chicken.
"Fine, I guess. The class isn't as colorful as some of the other ones I've had in past, but...eh."
She pulled out her flask and drank a few mouthfuls.

"This is your third year teaching, right?" He asked. He was new to teaching so he'd never really done anything like this before. It was a great new experience though, and so far he loved teaching.
"If you don't mind me asking, how'd you actually come by teaching potions?"
He'd known from since he was a kid he wanted something to do with plants, magical plants when he found out they existed. He already knew Ayamae was skilled with potions, she'd made the great ones that made him heal so quickly, even her pepperup potion didn't make him steam at the ears so badly, which was the side-effect. But still, he'd heard of the job through the grapevine, he was curious how she'd heard of hers. Witches and Wizards always had a back story to tell, he found, they were always interesting.

Ayamae blushed a little at the question. It was no secret to Donny that she'd had a little bit of a seedy past...
"Yes, three years. I saw an ad for the job in the daily prophet, actually. I was working at Borgin and Burke's, doing some international trade between them and a shop in Japan. I'm a bit ashamed of it, really. I got turned down as an auror, so I decided if the ministry didn't want me, then I didn't want the ministry...I've done plenty of things I'm not proud of...but they've all been totally legal."
She knew that the fact that selling dark magical items was still legal didn't make it right...but she had to make some kind of excuse for herself.

Donavon smiled as Ayamae blushed, she looked like a child caught in wrongdoing. He stopped eating to listen but continued for something to do when she was done, not sure what to say to that. After finishing his wine though, he set it down and said carefully;
"Well there's nothing wrong with that." He chuckled a bit, "I love how you have to say they're legal." He nudged her lightly with his bony elbow as if to tell her he wasn't ashamed of her in the least, so why should she be ashamed of herself?
Eventually dinner ended and when the great hall began emptying of staff and students he stood up and took her hand in his. "It's a nice night." He said simply, looking up at the cieling of the great hall which reflected the sky outside which was dotted with stars.
"Want to go to the astronomy tower for a bit?"

Ayamae nodded enthusiastically, happy that he wasn't angry about her past. She was so lucky to have someone like him who understood her.
"I've always wanted to see Uranus." she said jokingly.
She got up and followed him from the hall, hand-in-hand.

Zoe hopped her merry way in to the great hall with her Firebird on shoulders, spotted Ami and ran towards her. Hey! Look what I got. She said jumping on to a seat next to Ami. Ami had her plate full of pudding and mouth full of... Muffins?! I made it in to the team. Zoe said excitedly giving Ami a light punch. How was your first week?

Ami quickly swallowed the pudding ((it wasn't muffin smile )) that was stuffed in her mouth, and gave Zoe a high-five. "Oh my god! You made the team? That's awesome! Tell me when the games start, I'll go to all of them. And can you coach me? I'm thining of trying out next year...or maybe the year after that." She took another bite of the scrumptious pudding."My first week? Well, I met Rose, who's super nice. You know her? And I also met a guy named Micheal, who's also a Gryffindor, but he didn't know about magic until he accidently stumbled onto the Hogwarts Express! Oh! And Zoe I need your help! The Herbology Professor, told us to write two paragraphs and the properties of Dirigible Plums! All I can think of is the fact that it helps you believe in extroadinary things, but that's only one paragraph! Advice?"

Zoe grab a muffin. Oh yeah I know Rose. She's on the team as well. A chaser. She looked around before she leaned towards Ami. She is very sweet and all yeah, but trust me, You don't want to get on her bad side. She said in an undertone as a wide grin spread across her face remembering Rose yell at Wolf. I'm sorry Ami. I do not take herbology as a subject. But I bet you find anything you need on the internet! Zoe said completely forgetting that they were sitting in the great hall of Hogwarts.

Then, she reached for another spoonful of pudding to put on her plate, paused, then just took the bowl itself and started eating out of it. "Hmm...well I actually did look through all the books in the library (internet) and there wasn't much information except for that this girl named Luna Lovegood had a pair of Dirigible Plum earrings. I'll have to talk to the professor later about this."

Yeah. Better the professor than me. Zoe replied helping herself with some pumpkin juice. It was a relief that her stupid remark about the internet did not get through Ami's mind. Never mind Wolf. He said something rude to her during Qudditch tryouts. (btw i did not tell you his name XP). Luna Lovegood, eh? Isn't she the editor of that crazy magazine "The Quibbler?" Zoe asked.Where is Alex. I did not see him after the DADA class at all. You wanna go down to the grounds and take a peek at the .... she stopped and looked around again hesitantly, forbidden forest? she mouthed so that only Ami could hear her.
