Adrian Darcy"Mrs. Lena Darcy," he tried out, simply adoring the way it rolled off his tongue. Blushing in pleasure, he tilted his eyes up at the speakers on the ceiling, listening as the music changed from a fast, cute song, to a slow, sweet song about kissing the singer slowly. "Lena...would you like to dance?" he asked suddenly.

Lena was just about to yell for a waiter to take their orders when she heard Adrian. "Huh?" she blinked at him. "Uh... I don't know, I've got two left feet." she said with an embarrassed blush on her lowered face.

Lena looked at Adrian's hand then his eyes then back at the hand, biting her bottom lip nervously. "Fine." she finally said. "But if I step on you a few times, don't say I didn't warn you." With that, she slipped her hand into his and climbed out of her seat.

Adrian DarcyAdrian immediately led her to the dance floor, setting his hand on the small of her back and holding her hand up with the other. "Don't worry: my sisters couldn't really dance, so I'm used to being stepped on."

Lena recognized the stance and laid her other hand on his shoulder. See? TV really was educational!

She nodded and did as instructed. Wasn't it usually the left? Aww, she didn't know. She only watched Dancing with the Stars a couple times in her long seventeen years of life, and their movements were way too fast for her to memorize. Even cartoons went too fast! The only dances she could really picture right weren't dances at all, they were just grinding and dry-humping. Flattering as that may be, she didn't want to go that far with Adrian yet.

Oh boy, here comes the fun part: using the left foot. Lena gave the tiniest of nods and shuffled her foot to the side. Simply moving it to the side sounded so simple, but that's how it got you. Maybe it was the fast tempo of the song (which wasn't fast at all), maybe it was nerves, she wasn't sure, but she tripped a little and cursed under her breath for it when she slumped against Adrian.

Lena wasn't convinced. "You're just saying that to make me feel better." she huffed before melting into sadness. "Ah! I'm gonna mess up our wedding dance!" she whined.
