OOC: Last post until this evening probably.
IC:
Jonothan ran his hand over his hair to quickly get the water out from his shower. There was actually a class to be taught today and he had slept in. His date with Regina had went considerably well last night and that put his day in a wonderful light. Picking up his keys and course notes, he locked his room and headed down towards the classrooms.
He saw Rachael near the kitchen, "Hello, Rachael, how are you feeling after your first mission?"
---------------
It was amazing how much light and holograms made things appear to be real. Picking up one of the faux blades, she hid it in a slot in her boots. She didn't deviate from her usual stock of weapons. Having done this so long, she developed a pereference and routine.
"What simulation are we using?" Jacen asked her watching her check all her weapons to make sure they're where she wanted.
"Reavers, they're a nasty bunch," She answered with a sai in one hand making sure it wasn't too tight in it's place, "Cyborg types... hate the X-Men. The usual. My programs usually have the same goal: make sure you're the last one standing. Any injuries we receive in this program are not real. The sensory equipment is so sophisticated that it makes you think you've been hit to simulate the experience."
"Where did he get such fancy toys?"
"I wonder the same thing... and then I remind myself not to wonder too much because sometimes you don't want the answer," She smiled and put a hand on his back, "Uniform suits you well. We can work on getting you a custom one... even if you choose not to stay, you'd have it."

"You speak like I'd be involved in many skirmishes even if I don't stay here," Jacen said with a smirk.
"Well...wouldn't you?"
"Point taken. When do we get this show on the road?"
"Anytime," Evelyn said before she spoke up, "Start program."
With that, the scenery shifted from the metallic room they were in, into one that resembled a desert. The sky burned a dull orange, the sign of nightfall, and the creatures that inhabited the area were growing ever more silent. Jacen heard a gear crank over, and looked around to find nothing.
"They're coming," Penance said, readying herself for the attack.
"Yea? Where are they...."
"Look out!!!" Evelyn pushed Jacen to the side as gunfire erupted between the two of them. The Reavers had ambushed them and started their assault without provocation. The moment Jacen sprang back up to his feet, he already had one of the Reavers there ready to attack him face to face.
"At least you've got balls enough to get in my face to strike," Jacen commented as he dodged a punch. This guys was quick. Alot quicker than any normal person. Of course, by the look of these Reavers, Jacen knew they were anything but normal.
"That should be the least of your worries," the one known as Skullbuster said as he levied a kick hard into Jacen's stomach. It was so heavy a kick, Jacen held back the urge to puke right there. There were a couple of shots that Skullbuster threw that hit Jacen hard in the face. Maybe Jacen wasn't quite ready to jump straight into the Danger Room. Of course, he was nothing if adventurous. With a bit of blood trickling from his mouth, Jacen smiled a bit and started to launch a counter-offensive. Strike after strike though was blocked by Skullbuster. The guy was good, even for a holographic program. Jacen couldn't imagine having to actually face the guy.
Skullbuster must have slipped up, because Jacen was eventually able to get the upper hand but was cut short by someone capturing him in an electrified web. Jacen withstood the pain of being shocked long enough to generate his sword in his hand, and slice through the netting. When Jacen realized that it was more than a one on one, he fired off a decoy blast, then ran behind a relatively safe rock formation.
"Did you see where he went, Reese?"
"Nope...," Reese replied, "Give me a second though....." He scanned the area over a few times before picking up a heat signature on his infrared scanner. Jacen was taking a small breather, collecting his thoughts, formulating a plan. "There. I got him. Three clicks to your left."
"Flush him out," Skullbuster said as he drew his grenade launcher. Reese levelled his plasma cannon at the rock formation and started to let it wind up it's charge. In a matter of seconds, Jacen was either going to be in plain sight, or buried under a ton of stone.

"I've been expecting you," Xavier said as Raze walked through his office doors, "Though usually I'm told when one of my new students has arrived."
Raze slowly walked into the office, noting the extensive amount of books on the shelves. After a moment of gazing in relative awe, he sat down in the chair in front of Xavier's desk.
"Wow..this place is pretty big," Raze said, as he looked at the Professor.
"A lot of hard work has been put into accomdating all of the students that we get from around the world," Xavier remarked before wheeling out from behind his desk. "With that being said, do you know why I extended the invitation for you to stay here?"
(Sorry bout the poopiness of it.)

"Partly because I can do this," Raze replied, taking off one of his gloves, and flaring up his arm. "And partly because I can't always control it," he said, focusing on making his arm extinguish, and pulling his glove back on. "You can probably imagine, but it's a bit of a nuisance to have to wear these all the time," he said, tugging at the corner of his glove.
"I'm here because I'd like to accept your offer," Raze said calmly, though a small smile crept across his face. So, this is Charles Xavier. I always thought he'd be... bigger. Ah well. Can't judge a book by it's cover, can I? Raze thought to himself. {Eh, that's okay.}

"Hello...." She raked her brain for the young mans name. "Jonothan....?" She finished after a second or two. "Me? Oh I'm fine, it went by so quick that I scarecly can recall what happened...." It was true, having no experience she sort tried to keep out of everyones way.

Rogue was searching the kitchen for something to eat. She noticed how many people ate fruit. Today she was having toast. Rogue snatched it up as it popped out and strode across the room.

"Absolutly amazing...." Copycat honestly had no clue where in the room Markus was. "Not bad huh? I'm good at hiding..." Markus's voice came from somewhere within it. He was the most unique shapeshifter she had ever seen. With the proper training he could mimic people almost as well as Mystique but he would lack her accuracy....although he can't compair to her, he was far, far more versitile that her and Mystique, mostly in part to his ability to mimic objects. Something that she nor Mystique were capeable of.

She knew the layout of their scenario by reference materials of the X-Men. This desert was Australia and Xavier had a small base of operations here. Nobody really ever realized how far his reach went. So it wasn't much shock to her when she recognized the pattern to the dessert. The program varied it's locations according to xavier files... just the enemy was the same: Reavers.
Their location meant underground tunnels. She just had to find one. Jacen being caught under fire was actually the best distraction she could ask for. Using her stealth, she was able to slide away to find the one she had seen mapped out. It was dusty, sandy and dark. But it would be their best advantage.
Finding another entrance, she peered up through and grabbed Jacen's boot, "Jump."
After the intial shock of somebody tugging at his foot, he did what she said and ended up in the X-Men tunnels, "What is this?"
"The X-Men have a small base in Australia... it was infested with Reavers according to Xavier's files... the X-Men have a deeper history than most people at the Institute know," She answered, "If we follow this enough, we can ambush them from behind."
"Now that's just to easy," He looked around at the dark tunnels.
"I never said I was putting us into the hardest program... otherwise we'd never make it to class on time," She smiled, "And this time it is luck of the draw. I usually don't have a route of convenience."
Which was true. Penance was also often known for removing the saftey features from the Danger Room when there was no authority figures to catch her from doing so. She could hear down the tunnel one of the access ports being opened and two heavy bodied people jumping down. They had the smell of the opponents who attacked them earlier. The access point was dark. She could see their movement though. Pushing Jacen against a small nook in the wayy with her in the darkness, she held out her hand for him to wait and be silent.
Not only could she hear his heart pounding in his chest, she could hear the footsteps come closer and pass them. Slowly she moved the two sais out of their holsters and nodded for Jacen to attack from behind. As fast as her arms could move, she jumped out of the darkness and brought them down into the back of their opponent. She knew physiology enough to know where a fatal blow was. One down.

ooc: joint post, and for all you youngins out there, nothing happened.
ic: Penny stumbled into her and Regina's bedroom barefoot and in her pajamas still, "Hey, Reg... how was your date?"
"Was good... looks like yours was too." Regina grinned, looking at penny's PJs.
She laughed, "I didn't have a date. And maybe I've been stomping around in my pajamas all morning."
"I doubt that." Regina returned, smirking. "I didn't see you as I was moving through the shadows from-" she smacked a hand over her mouth.
Penny really laughed then when Regina caught herself, "Oh, and where exactly have you been? Your date go better than planned?"
"Uhhhhh...." Regina stamered and turned around blushing. "Dunno what you're talking about..."
"Yea, I bet," She said and sat down on her own bed, "Besides, your bed is still made and you just got here it seems."
"Erm... oh, porter says you and i will get new rooms since we're no longer students." she said, trying to change the topic
"Changing the subject, I see. I won't press the issue then and let my imagination get the best of me," She joked and looked around at their room, "Huh, one room to destroy myself. Nice."
"yes well... Nothing happened. He just asked me to spend the night with him." Regina offered up, and nodded. "Yes, room to yourself. you and your experiments living under your bed...."
"One day, they're just going to walk away," She stretched, "And I didn't meant to imply that you did something bad or whatever. Long as your happy, do what you need to do. That sounds rediculously sweet though."
"It was." she admitted. "What'd you do? your bed isn't as topsy turvy as when you
"You are correct Sherlock Holmes," Penny laid back on her bed, "I stayed with Jacen last night, that's all. Nothing crazy, but damn was it nice."
"I felt the same." Regina worked on changing clothes, intending to put Porter's back in his room later. "It was probably the sappiest night in the history of romance, but..."
She laughed again, "I can't say mine was sappy... but I definately enjoyed it. Jacen is... one of the most remarkable people I've met in my life."
"He's a good guy." she nodded, smiling at penny.
"Funny how things worked out. I just think back to that initial skirmish with the Brotherhood... undoubtedbly attracted to him because he was just oh so wrong for me, but geez, since then... I'm at a total loss," Penny stopped for a second and realized she was gushing. Penance doesn't gush.
"He keeps calling you by your real name. Would you prefer it?" Regina asked.
Penance stopped for a moment and thought about that, "My answer is somewhat complicated to that."
"Go for it. I want to know." she sat on the bed she hadn't slept in the night before and waited.
"I started using the name Penny really as a way to escape my problems. To defy my father, to ignore what my mother passing meant to me... but it really became my persona too. That rough, hard edged girl. The one I see myself becoming less of lately in some ways..." She started to explain, "Do I prefer one name over another? No. Just different parts of me. Jacen brings out the Evelyn, that girl I pushed away a long time ago."
"So... what do you want to be called? I know both sides of penny, I'm just not sure what to call you now."
"Whichever you so desire. They're both my name, I'll answer to either," She smiled, "Just don't call me Evelyn."
Regina rolled her eyes and grinned. "So Evie is fine but not Evelyn?"
"In most cases," She smiled and realized that Jacen did use her first full name on occasion. She was just never fond of it, it sounded too old, "Evelyn was my grandmother... always sounded old to me."
"Ah. Alright then." she nodded and looked out the window. "I'll miss being in the same room as you though..:
"It's not like we're moving miles away," Penny got up and decided to get dressed, "Can't be roomates forever, though."
"True. Still be friends though yes?" she finished dressing in her own clothes and looked at Porters. "I don't want to return them... how silly does that sound?"
"Being roomates isn't the only reason we're friends," Penny answered and then smiled about the shirt, "Keep it... The scent of him remains on it for awhile."
"And how do you know that?" regina teased, laughing.
Penny joked, "Because I have one of his under my bed."
"Liar." Regina giggled, knowing her friend too well. "Such a dork... Besides, it'd have crawled out and to the laundry room by now."
"I swear my side of the room isn't that bad! I haven't been home to destroy it lately," She looked under her bed to confirm she wasn't really lying, "Besides, you are talking to somebody with the best sense of smell ever... scent sticks to things as weird as I sound saying it. I can still smell Jacen on my own skin."
"That's neat." she remarked, hugging porter's shirt. "Yeah... if he wants it back, he will have to come get it."
"Heh, don't tempt him or you with that... I'm sure you wouldn't mind that wrestling match," She flipped through her drawers to find something.
"I don't think... uh... would he?" Regina blinked and had to think about that.
"I haven't met a guy who wouldn't," She answered and pulled a tank top out of her drawer that was remotely not wrinkled.
"Oh boy. I have a lot to learn about this." she sighed, but smiled. "This should be intersting..."
"Nothing to learn really," She smiled, "Just a lot of instinct. Anyway, I need a shower."
"yeah, go for it..." she had thing she needed to think about...

Regina finished getting dressed and headed to one of the classes, not honestly sure where she was supposed to be at that point. She hadn't bothered looking at her computer and didn't even know what was offered.
Gen walked with Teagan to one of the danger rooms. They had both signed up for more training, believing that they needed work. Gen at least wanted to get a hold on her powers after having them souped up, so to speak. She wondered who would be teaching them...

So, young mutant brother, have the proper arrangements been made?
Yes Master, everything is entirely in order. Their security system and every code therein has been uploaded into your systems, and I have even saved the details of the Cerebro program into a neat file for you to analyze later.
Very well done, I trust there will not be much resistance?
If all goes to plan, they wont even have the means to fight back, Master.
And Charles?
The trusting fool will let me right beside him. I ensure you he will be incapacitated before the rest of my brothers and sisters arrive for the 'cleanup'. Well, what's left of them that is...
... I trust you have taken the necessary measures to prevent casualties to a minimum?
Yes Sir, well, I was wondering if I might get a definition of 'Minimum'. There are some here who aren't ready... some who.. are not as loyal as one might think...
Realistically, I suppose its possible that accidents may happen, but I trust that you will not act out of selfish desire. We are here to educate, not brutalize... I will tolerate as many as two deaths in this encounter, though measures must be taken to ensure this is kept secret until they are properly turned to our side.
Yes Master... I assure you, there will be no more fatalities than that...
The operation begins in 48 hours, young mutant brother. Ensure that it will be successful, and I am certain you will make your Professor Jeffries most proud, as well as myself and all of mutantkind.
Magneto broke contact, mildy disturbed at his mole's dark turn in motives, though he was, for the moment, confident of their success. He emerged from the control center via a gate, and emerged floating high above the Seminary grounds. Down below he could see his students, his children learning their skills, growing refined in their philosophies, and learning to fight in his name. His cause would be their cause... and soon, they would have many more brothers and sisters to call classmates.
OOC: Yep, get ready folks. Things are about to get MOST explosive up in this joint wink

Sasha walked down the hall and stopped right infront of a room. "I still can't believe they're making us do this stuff," she said.
She opened the door and walked in. The room was lightly dim except for a bright latern on the floor. Sitting infront it, crossed legged was an older indian woman. She had two long black pigtails that reminded Sasha of darkness outside, but like a comfortable darkness. The woman appeared to be mediating.
"Sit, my young wolf cub," spoke the woman.
Sasha rolled her eyes. "This is rediculous," she said, and began to walk over to the door. But the door disappeared and instead appeared a giant cobra. It hissed at her and she jumped back. "Oh my god!" she shouted.
"Sit, wolf cub," repeated the woman.
"But there's a huge sn-".
When Sasha looked back, the snake was gone and the door was there. "But how?" The woman opened her eyes.
"All will be answered soon my dear, come."
Sasha heisated, but came over and sat down across from the woman. "Who are you?" asked Sasha.
"I am Danielle Moonstar," answered the indian woman, "But I am called Moonstar. And you, my dear are Sasha. I have heard much of you from magento, or as you prefer to call him, old geezer," she chuckled. The woman wore a dreamweaver around her neck. The way she presented herself, seemed to aw and inspire Sasha.
"You must be a mutant too," said Sasha, "What are your powers?"
"Mine are somewhat similiar to your dream powers," answered the woman, "I can create illusions into the minds of anyone based from their worst fears."
"So that's why that huge cobra appeared," said Sasha.
Moonstar looked at her. "If you want to be able to control the dreams and fears of your enemys, you first must control your own fears and nightmares. I will teach you much, young cub, so that you may grow into the majestic alpha wolf that I see in you."
Sonya was walking around looking for her class. "Oh, where in the world could Mr. Login's classroom be," she said panicy, already a little late. Her panicing made a light above break. "Oh no, I did it again," she said. She began picking up the glass and put it in the trash.
As she was about to throw away the metal part she began hearing voices again. Master....xavier......casulaties......48 hrs.......cleanup.........institution... Sonya's heart stopped. "Casulaties," she said, "I must go warn someone!" She got up and ran down the hall when someone blocked her way.
"Please I must go," she said.
"Oh my bad," said a friendly voice, noticing that her hand had been cut up a bit. "What happened?
Sonya was still a bit too new to recognize him, and only got a little quiet. "Oh... the bulb broke and I cut my hand... but I heard something about casualties and I had to warn someone!"
The boy laughed. "You're probably just hearing things," he said as he bandaged up her hand. "There you go, good as new, sister!" he said cheerfully.
Before Sonya had a chance to respond, he was gone, but his calmness seemed to put her nerves to ease, and she went back to looking for her class.

OOC: But, but Moonstar is a good guy. Wasn't she just bad to infiltrate the team lead by Reignfire? smile
IC:
"I'm sorry you didn't have much training before going out onto the field... sometimes it happens that way," Porter answered and showed her the way down to the Danger Room. After looking into the women's locker room, he made sure that nobody was in there to show Rachael her own locker.
"As a training student, you won't always be called into a mission. We try to train you first before you get sent in with the big dogs," He showed her the combination to the locker then wrote it down for her, "But things happen where all Xavier civilians are needed."
She peeked into the locker as he pulled out a training uniform. He showed her where all of the zippers and latches were, "This uniform is pretty comfortable and made to fit you. It's the Green Team's training uniform and eventually you'll get your own custom uniform. I suggest you wear this to defense class. It helps protect you more than any standard street clothes. Now, I should leave the locker room before anybody enters and makes a fuss. Across the hall is the Danger Room, it's in use right now but your teacher should arrive soon and let you know what to do."
He left her in the locker room and made sure that the Danger Room was locked. Porter really didn't want any more Sonya incidents... it could have ended up much worse than it was. He had fifteen minutes to get to class. He knew if he was a second late at least Kitty would make a fuss. Porter headed as quick as he could to his office to grab his lesson plans, send a notice out to the Green Team and then went to teach Creative Writing.
Gen, Sonya, Teagan, Blair, Rachael, and Rogue...
The optional Green Team training is going to be this evening at 8pm. We're going to be focusing on your abilities and control rather than fighting. Be suited up and ready to go in the Danger Room.
-Mr. Porter
Evelyn,
Can you have the Alpha Team help me with this evening's training session? I'd like to give the student's more one on one attention and your team is good at the subject of the day: abilities and focus. See if Jacen would like to assist as well? That would give me a one to one ratio in the training of teachers and students.
-Porter

"Nice one," Jacen commented, as he saw two points poke through the Reaver's chest. He had decided to hit him hard in the gut for added measure; knock the air out and puncture the lungs. "I spose you're wanting to keep score?"
"Nah....not really, but if you want."
"Sure. Why not?," Jacen said as he ducked against the tunnel wall. He noticed a loud clank echoing from somewhere. "Ev....did you hear where that came from?"
"Both sides. We're pinced in."
Jacen started to chuckle a bit. A pinch attack. Smart on their part. Real smart. "And they're closing in, huh?"
"Yup." Penance put her sais back before unsheathing her sword. It looked like it was time to dance. "Just stick close."
"....Ten steps ahead of you...." Instinctively, Jacen started to charge up two rather sizeable blasts in his hands. The energy illuminated the cave enough to give him a glimpse ahead, but nothing too spectacular. He saw something at the corner of the tunnel. A long shadow. Not wanting to take chances, Jacen fired off his blasts, effectively cutting off that junction of the tunnel, though part of the top caved it, exposing their position.
"s**t." Jacen looked over at Evelyn, noticing she was still waiting. Something was amiss. Then he heard a loud whistling sound that grew louder and came closer. "Oh...........crap!!," he yelled, summoning up a slight energy boost. In a flash, a black energy shield deflected the fireblast and the resulting rubble crashing down on top of Jacen and Penny.
"Damn....that's ******** hot," Jacen remarked as he looked upward. "Three uptop. And I'm sure theres more waiting."
