Jacob ll Crow's Nest->Bowels of the Boat ll Caribbean Sea

Jacob slowly rose and followed Noelle back down to the deck. She was right, there was much to do and people to talk to. "Oh don't worry." He chimed. "I'm secretly 'The Flash'. Who, now that I think about it, would make for one of the creepiest sexual predators around." Jacob leaped over Noelle and tumbled along the deck of the boat to slow his impact before casually walking downstairs into the boat.

[Laan; Nithhogr .:. Caribbean .:. Captain's Quarters]

Nithhogr caught the kiss blown by Elleon and shoved it in his pocket before replying, "Ah'll be savin' that one fer a lonely summer night, lassie!"

Laan looked over his shoulder at Nithhogr, his eyes narrowing as he said, "Return to Hawaii. You are to lead my minions and cause as much damage as possible."

Nithhogr winked at Elleon one more time before vanishing into a dark portal, prompting Laan to give a sigh of relief. He turned his attention back to Ajora and said, "Women can't be like that because they have to deal with a lot more hormones and are a lot less hormonally unbalanced. And it's a shame Joe had to lose one of his eyes. In my previous form, he was not unkind to me... Though now as a being of darkness, I cannot say for sure if the hospitality would be the same."

It was then that Laan caught wind of it. A familiar scent from when he was just Alan. He concentrated, trying to target the source of the scent so he could investigate. Just outside?... Laan portal'd out of the Captain's Quarters to to the source of the scent, looking around until his eyes landed on Alice.

"... Alice? That's you, right?"

[Cory .:. Hawaii .:. Village]

Cory summoned the Revblade and entered his power suit, removing the Sub-Zero-ish mask and walking to the edge of the group. The rogue rested his weapon on his shoulder as he slipped his free hand in his pocket, scanning the area to make sure they weren't about to be ambushed. Moving around in a big group makes us easier targets... And no one ever bothers to stand guard. No wonder it's so easy to kidnap some of them...

[Anthony ~.~ The Black Pearl ~.~ Cargo Hold]

Anthony laughed as Dawn's stomach growled after his. "It's like our stomachs are talking to each other," he thought. "Well then," the warrior-knight said as he grabbed the lantern and rose to his feet. "How 'bout we get searchin'? The others might be hungry, too. And I'm sure we could all use the energy, especially the injured." With that, he turned around and began looking through the crates for some food.

As they searched, Anthony couldn't help but think about the voice he had heard earlier. Curiosity getting the best of him, he craned his neck slightly to better project his voice, but kept his eyes on the crates, and asked Dawn, "Just wondering... Early when I was down here, did you happen to say or hear anything along the lines of 'have you found what you're looking for' or something like that, except all Old English-like?"

[The Black Pearl ~ Lower Deck]

Noelle raised an eyebrow at Jacob, shaking her head with a sigh. What a goof. She descended the stairs to the lower decks, stopping at the galley first. The only person in there was Prote. He had resumed the task he'd left when the nobodies attacked the ship, staring at the maps on one of the tables. He'd long since memorized them, it took all of five seconds, and was now staring at them blankly. The agromancer didn't think he'd noticed her in the doorway, but he was aware of her presence.

"It does not make sense." He said, his eyes still stuck to the paper maps as if they'd change in any second.

"I wouldn't expect them to." Noelle replied, taking a seat across from the Geist. She saw him flicker slightly, but it wasn't as bad as it was before "With the way everythings been mixed up, I don't think those maps are very accurate."

"I am not speaking of the maps." Prote murmured, looking up at Noelle.

The girl frowned, knowing what he meant. "Lot's of things don't make sense around here, Prote. It's best we accept if for what it is because it's not going to change."

Noelle stood, spotting the galley's wood-fire stove and wandering over to it. She pulled open the hatch and saw fresh wood and kindling in it. Just to the side of the squat stove there was a shelf with a piece of flint and iron on it. The blonde picked them up and, sitting on the ground in front of the stove door, poked her hands just inside the door of the stove, hovering the flint over spots of kindling. She scratched the piece of iron along the flint several times, creating enough sparks to get an ember glowing. Repeating the process for several other spots of kindling, Noelle had a fire going inside the stove in no time.

"Here, you should re-charge a bit." She said, motioning for Prote to come regain his heat energy. "We're going to need your help later."

The Geist stood and approached the small stove. As he neared his hand accidentally brushed up against Noelle's shoulder. It was clear that he was on energy-seeking mode, because the blonde immediately felt her body go cold, causing her to shiver. She jumped and pushed herself away, looking up at him in surprise.

"Yaaah!" She shouted, brushing the light layer of frost crystals that formed on her jacket, "You gotta stop doing that to me, Prote! I need to stay warm too!"

Prote gave her the most apologetic look he could, which was hardly any sort of expression at all, and said, "I am sorry, I did not mean it."

Noelle stood and rubbed her arms, trying to get warm again. It was already cold enough on the ship. "It's okay . . . you just sit and get warm, I'm going to go look for the others."

Prote hardly acknowledged the agromancer's exit, only tilting his head ever so slightly at her words as he stared into the stove. Noelle looked around the other rooms on the second deck until she came upon where Louis, Jenny, and Joe were. She paused for a second, gringind as she saw Jenny's magic not work on healing Joe's eye. Leaning against the door-frame she poked her head in.

"Hey, everything okay in here?" She asked softly, "I just . . . wanted to make sure everyone was okay."

{Kuro Oni : Caribbean Sea : The Dutchman Below Deck -> Captain's Quarters}

He had sensed it... of course he had, the prison break, all of it. But didn't care to stop it, he had what he wanted. Then his eyes opened again as he sensed a new presence of darkness aboard the ship. It was pretty much on level with his own, he had to admit, it piqued his curiosity. He headed up the stairs towards the Captain's Quarters to figure out who it was. As he reached the door way, he saw that it had been quite effectively knocked off it's hinges.

He watched as the Unversed took it's leave under the young man's orders and then suddenly he appeared in a flash right in the doorway he was about to enter, his focus turned to Alice.

"Well, what do we have here?" He asked, curious as his eyes narrowed at Laan.

[Dawn : Black Pearl : Cargo Hold]

Dawn stood up, with her knees being shaky to begin with, side effect of her crying so much, and started to look at the crates as Anthony did so. She couldn't help but agree with getting food for the others as well. Everyone could use a little food energy.

Dawn soon glanced over her shoulder at Anthony, with a confused expression, "I didn't say anything. Nor did I hear anything... you must be hearing things." she mumbled pausing to look at another box, "Unless you normally hear English-like voices in your head, I wouldn't worry too much. It is probably just your summon- Ah ha! I think I found something!"

Dawn stopped walking as she found a crate with it's lid ajar. She moved the lid to the side to find various citrus fruit, mainly oranges and grapefruit. The box was about half way full, but at least it was food that should be enough to feed them all. The Dancer didn't wait for a response from Anthony, before she leaned into the box to pick out couple of oranges. She took one of them and tossed it at Anthony, with a slight grin on her face.

{Demyx .:. Angel Grove .:. City > Hawaii .:. Village}

Demyx watched the last of the Earth kids go through, then looked around to make sure they weren't missing anyone. It looked like everyone had made it, so the Melodious Nocturne stepped through the portal himself and allowed it to collapse behind him.

The scene he arrived at was peaceful, if interesting, Demyx recognized Stitch, who was interacting with the icy archer girl. Everyone else seemed relaxed, mostly due to the atmosphere of the village. It appeared any trouble was already beaten back, and the villagers were rebuilding. The girl with powers like Namine's was busy using her magic to reconstruct the town, and everyone else seemed unsure of what to do.

The only person who seemed on edge at all was Cory. Demyx shrugged, figuring the used-to-be-dead kid always had a stick up his butt about something.

"So hey, which of you lovely ladies wants to get into their bikinis and meet me at the beach?" he asked, grinning in what was supposed to be a seductive manner.

Bobbi watched Kyla use her magic to restore the house, then looked around at everyone else. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, and she didn't blame them. It seemed like the village was putting itself back together, and she could smell the sea breeze. She hadn't been living in Seaport City long enough to get used to the scent, but it did bring back some vague memories of her random wanderings about town. She felt a small twinge of nostalgia, but not to the extent that brought that grin to Riku's face. When she saw his smile, Bobbi couldn't help smiling in response.

It's nice to see everyone relaxing a little, she thought to herself. Meanwhile, she pretended Demyx and his stupidity didn't exist, but the temptation to manifest ice in his shorts was ever so hard to resist.

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Pearl's Lower Decks ]

Kyle released a single, soft chuckle under his breath at Quistis' offer, shaking his head lightly as he realized something. "No... no, I think if I'm going to talk about anything, I suppose I need to fill you and a few others into what the hell's going on."

"Anthony, Jacob, Sayrike... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there are still some things you need answered. It's only right, considering you've been sucked into our fights more than once now. If you have any questions, I'll be in the brig with Quistis."

"Maybe you've told someone else, or maybe I've just forgotten, with everything going on," he said, turning his attention back to her after the announced thought to the mentioned trio. "But why were you in Port Royal? You don't strike me as the type to live... there."

[Jenny :: Black Pearl :: Sleeping Quarters]

A tear slid down Jenny's face as Joe too her hand, his words helped a little to quell the unease in her but not by much. Who wasn't to say that Joe saw the face of Alice every time he looked at her?

.:So, do you see Azrael every time you look at Joe?:. Siren questioned quietly.

Of course not! .:Then?:. Jenny looked at Joe's eye, wishing things were simple again. When a mother's kiss could promise that everything would be okay. It made her yearn for her mom...

"Jenny! Did you scratch yourself again? You have to be more careful! I'll get you an ok-bone!"

Jenny almost smiled though it came out as a grimace instead. She always thought her mom was silly, referring to band-aids as 'okay-bones' due to her poor English. Her and her brother would always laugh, trying to tell her that they were called band-aids even though it made no sense.

"They heal your bones! Making them okay... right?"

She let the warmth of Joe's cheek warm her own hand as she tried to smile again even though her bottom lip quivered. "But, your eye..." I promise, I won't let you down- Jenny swung her head around, hastily wiping her face with her free hand. Noelle was by the door and Jenny had almost forgotten that Louis was still behind her. "Yeah, I'm- I'm just checking in on Joe."

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Captain's Quarters ]

Before he could even respond to his bluntness with another funny quip, Laan opened a Corridor and vanished... directly outside the room. Because apparently walking back to the door was just too difficult.

Ugh. Drama queens.

He turned back to Elleon with a roll of his eyes, waving his hand sarcastically as he did so. "Anyway, was there something else you wanted? And am I right to assume Lugae is still safe?"

[Alice :: The Dutchman :: Outside the Captain's Quarters]

Alice quietly noted the departure of the Unversed before turning her attention to the portal that now opened up before her. The person who stepped out looked distinctively like Cory; although, where his attire was blue, this person was dressed in red. Her eyes narrowed as her turned and rested his eyes on her. Where she expected the heartless symbol in his eye, there was the command seal of Death instead. There was no mistaking it, that Alan had somehow managed to become his own entity; how, she wasn't sure.

She was excited, happy even though she kept as much off her facial features as possible. After all, she had gone through twelve years of growth in only a couple of days. Whereas in the past she would have been jumping at the sight of Alan, now it seemed like bitterness gnawed at her heels and she kept her face roughly neutral. She would never allow herself to fall to become a puppet of her own emotions.

"Alan," the animator greeted, allowing a genuine smile to grace her lips as she made an exception. "You've grown," she said simply before turning to Kuro; she wiped all traces of her smile from her face, with no inclination of responding to the dark corsair.

[Anthony ~.~ The Black Pearl ~.~ Cargo Hold]

"My what?" Anthony asked, turning around just as Dawn tossed the orange, fumbling the fruit in the air before finally catching it. "Ooo! My favorite!" he proclaimed before digging his thumb nail into the rind of the orange and peeling it off. The dark haired youth popped one of the carpels into his mouth before asking, "Is there anything else other than fruit in there? Like meat or something? Where's the real food?"

Just then, Anthony heard yet another voice, causing him to choke on the juices from the orange. However, this voice wasn't the same voice from earlier. It was Kyle's.

"Anthony, Jacob, Sayrike... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there are still some things you need answered. It's only right, considering you've been sucked into our fights more than once now. If you have any questions, I'll be in the brig with Quistis."

He stared at the fruit in his hand, narrowing his eyes in suspicion. "How long do you think the fruit has been stored in these crates?" he asked, looking up at Dawn. "I think they've gone bad... Either that or I've gone crazy, 'cause I keep hearing voices in my head. I swear I thought I just heard Kyle saying something about questions and the brig."

[[Louis : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl - Sleeping Quarters]]

Louis stayed silent as Jenny worked her magic, and slowly grew less and less positive as it faded with no effect. Joe objected to his comments with unexpected liveliness, odd considering his loopy state of mind he was in mere moments before. Still, he stayed quiet and snatched back the towel the moment he finished sucking the water out of it.

Noelle called from the door, but Jenny beat him to the answer, "Yeah, he'll be find. Giving a bit more time. Perhaps less if he'd learn to stop arguing..." Louis hinted at the last word and shot Joe a warning glance in spite of his attitude. He ran a couple fingers through his rat tail and shook it out furiously.

Louis bent down and dunked the towel again. He lifted it up and squeezed it, a little less this time to leave some excess water. With some, slightly less gentle intent, Louis placed the towel on Joe's forehead to aid with the fever. Sighing with lost purpose, Louis shook his head, "You two talk, I'll go look for a clean drinking cup." Louis walked past Noelle and smiled at her as he passed by, "Make sure he DOESN'T. MOVE."

[Dawn : Black Pearl : Cargo Hold]

"Your summon, duh," Dawn said as she started to peel her own orange, "We all got one. Like I got Garuda, who you probably saw earlier before we got captured. And I am assuming yours is the strange British voice you heard."

Dawn took apart her orange and started to eat a piece. She looked at the crate she got the orange from, "I don't see anything other than fruit in this one. If there is anything else it would be separate. The fruit tastes fine to me. But if you don't like it we can check the other boxes. As long as you promise to cook it. I am not going to be responsible for any fires."

Dawn took a few moments to eat more of her orange before she said anymore, "I am guessing it is the trinity charm," she motioned to the blue charm on her left wrist, "We can communicate with each other through them. He or someone else can explain them to you better than I can. Along with your summon," she paused a moment before she continued, "If Kyle wants to talk to you, I suppose we should gather up some food for the others and go up and see what he wants."

Dawn leaned into the box to grab a few oranges for the others. Her face going from being in a light mood, to a more thinking a troubled one.
