Hmmm... luau... one large hog, and a pit dug for such. That'll take at least two days to cook. Lots of soda and beer shipped in. Live music? At least somebody with a small band... Leis... what else? Taro for the poi (never did get used to that stuff), lomi lomi, and... please tell me we're NOT having kimchee.
[Edit] and, can we have malasadas? I know they're more Pilipine than Hawaiian, but they taste sooo good.

undefined dad I know Exxos and Gavic will want to be as well.) rofl It's not my place. heh. undefined dad Glad to see you back to life again my friend Exxos. How are you doing mate after passing the speedball of hooks from Hades??? rolleyes wahmbulance Sore and tired. And staring down a dreadfully long to do list now as well. metal walflower please tell me we're NOT having kimchee. Seeing as how we're not doing a Korean party, no. But there shall be the evil known by SPAM! metal walflower can we have malasadas? I know they're more Pilipine than Hawaiian, but they taste sooo good. Sure, but stick little umbrellas and hibiscus around them to Hawaiian them up a bit. *Begins pit digging and shoring for the pig roasting.* *Falls over due to overexertion.* razz Kujujuwa A new reason to rock the golden speedies!? blaugh 3nodding Soon we will have enough reasons to NEVER take them off. biggrin undefined dad Agreed!! Does anyone know what the heck is going on with the store's in the mp? Mine is all messed up again like it was before EXXOS, Do you recall the time that it happened before not to long back??? Same stuff again-Different day now!!! stressed Yes, I recall. And some of the collateral data seems to line up the same this time too – namely that the items in question are often the same items that 12 to 24 hours ago saw a massive deluge of listings in relation to their previous quantities. I am starting to think it might be an automated system built into the marketplace that is intentional, but being played up as a bug, that tracks listings and if too many happen at once, it kicks in to avoid a massive drop in the prices on certain items – most notably any cash shop or aquarium item currently on active sale.

The last luau that I went to (the real one, not the put-on one at the resort hotel) took three or four days. They parked a station wagon by the house, loaded with drinks of all sorts. A pit was dug in the back yard, holding two large pigs wrapped in chicken wire. There were several people that took turns singing and playing various instruments. And a few small children hula dancing. On the second day, they pulled the pork out in the evening. Some of the older women got together and shredded it, leaving it in foil pans. Everything else was prepared then, and the lomi lomi salmon was brought in from another kitchen (I never saw that made). The next day, everybody congregated at the local high school in their finest, leis were handed out, and a show was put on by family members on the stage. It was cool. xd Another party was held for the clean-up, and lasted until the next morning.

I have never been to any sort of luau, however I have had pit-roasted spanish goat and eaten bits of a brown bear that was caught in a forest fire on a dare. So I think I am suitably trained! biggrin

That'll do, Exxos. The one thing I learned about that party is that it doesn't matter where you are, as long as you're having a damned good time doing it. Let's party, guys.
