Alex slips into simple clothes for sleeping and hands Tess the shirt, "Don't be mad honey. It's a chance for me to take care of you. You work so hard for me. Now come lay down." He slides onto the bed.

Alex gently kisses Tess on the cheek, "Of course not, looking after munchkin is for both of us. Tess you've become so much stronger and of course you can rely on yourself. But that's part of being together, being there for each other even when you don't really need to be."
