"i think i should like to try to pick my own thanks," he waslked over to sk and took two of the apples and sat down at hi feet, "may i have both?"

"of course you may take both, i brought enough for 3 each. plus 2 for mavrick, who already ate them and one for titan, who you haven't met yet," he looked to the bird, " well go say hello to artimis," the bird fluttered down to the ground and hopped on Artimis' folded left knee and chirp in a sing son manor. the boy seemed thouroughly ammused. he looked to zahar as he set down the apples and bit took one and bit into it. it was sweet and tangy at once, a very nice tasteindeed! "i think you may like these you two," he said and then took another bite.

Art dug into his as well now after being jerked away from the wonderful little bird by the rumble in his tummy, he looked up a smile in his eyes, "very yummy!" he said with vigor. "what do you think zahar?"

he smiled, "these would be fantastic in pies, in fact i think that im goin to go back and grab a few so i can make a pie or 6 for myself an anyone who wants it. it seems art is quite taken with them as well. do not eat the seeds, if these are like the apple the ones on the other planes then you shouldnt eat the seeds, we can eat these while we walk as well so shall we get a move on?"

he looked to SK and tossed away a finished apple core and stood, " im finished one of mine already so walking should be ok for me. you think we will have an adventure liek yours? are you read to go zahar," he paused thinking him self appearing foolish for talking so much, "i am excited to meet more under the same conditions as myself is all. sorry for acting so childish."

he smirked, "ive never been here before really, jsut know roughly where your camp should be is all. really its the educated in tracking blind person leading two others whom jsut happen to be just as blind but not have the tracking skills," he looked to Artimis and smirked, "art, everytime you see some hint of an animal you have to point it out to me. and i will tell you if you are seeing something correct or it is just a deviation in the surrounding veggitation. this is the first lesson you will learn from me."

Art smiled in his eyes, "you wont be dissapointed, ill do my best i bet i can spot a rabbit from 50 feet away!" this drew a small scowl from SK "did i... did i say something wrong?"

SK took a deep breath, "ok, first lesson. then the tracking will be your second. lesson one. be confident and c**k sure, but not over confident such as that. do not worry lad. anyone at your age probablly would ahve done the same thing. prove my theory wrong though and spot a rabbit before i do and ill give you a grand reward lad," this brought a smile to his arts eyes again and sk waved him ahead, " you will walk 10 feet ahead of us we head that way, " he pointed and began walking an smiled to zahar as art ran ahead, "let us go to your home lass. we will come back better prepaired"

art concentrated on looking for what could eb animal tracks. there were somethings that he wasnt sure of... he didn't even know what he was looking for... so he simply ate the apple and looked around for something out of the ordinary.

he smirked as he watched the boy. he was intent on finding some sort of animal but seems like he didnt want to get his hands dirty even examining anything. the boy fixed his hair fairly often. he was a pretty boy it seemed. he wondered how the boy would view him as he was in truth not anytihng like that. cleanliness was of course very important but he didnt mind and liked getting dirty once in a while at the very least. about 10 minutes in to the walking they came to the appple tree and he climbed up it and pulled 10 apples off and looked to zahar, " do you like yours? would you like any more before we continue?"

sk frowned slightly and signed, you are nervous about the home comming arent you? he put the sign for concern at the end of that sentance and then continued, would you like to come with me to where i will be building my place? there is a building there already pretty well so it will be more refurbishing then anything. youd be welcom to stay if youd like.

he smiled and signed i will take you to where i will live first, that way you can know how to get there should you need or want to lass. then i will take you back untill i am certain you will be ok... it is not my place to medle with what goes on when you get back so long as you will not be harmed, he paused, i i care about you a lot you know. but honor dictates that i stay from being to involved other then you being safe.

thier silent convorsation was broken up by the mental yell of artimis:
"SK i think i found something come quick," he said with frantic glee and pride.

he signed to zahar, "things will be ok, no to check on the boy,"
he walked over to artimis and knelt examing the track in the ground, noting that it was actually fairly old and probablly belonged to something fairly large, "this could have belonged to a large creature, like a bear, they are big and furry. think of something about five times the size of maverick at hte least. though the lack of other prints suggests that we are much to late to ever find the creature or what actually was. good job art, but remember you have to spot an animal before me to get the surprise. i mean you are not 20 feet from that hare over there and havent noticed it yet," he tossed a stick into the bushes and a large brown hare scampered out of its hidy hole and moved on, "keep trying lad,no let us continue," he stood and began walking again noting that artimis seemed more determined and a little embarrassed. he looked to zahar, "why so worried lass? they are your friends"
