Jackie_Estacado Ms Emma Frost Raven_Darkholme Yes it is the birthday of Jesus, but to me that is completely seperate in every way from Christmas trees and Gingerbread Lattes from Starbucks. Actually December 25 is not the birthday of Jesus if we can be technical for a moment. jesus's real birthday is not known for sure but many experts have been led to believe it's sometime in the summer months, not December 25. That holiday was a Pagan holiday called Yule and when the Christian Church was spreading across the world, they took over many Pagan holidays to try and convert the Pagans...December 25 being one of them. *Points up* Actually it is more Spring like in December in the Arab Nations... I've been there.
