dEx nodded. That made sense.
"Well, if you use too little chakra you won't be able to make as many clones, but if you use too much you wear yourself out prematurely. So you have to find a happy medium so that you can get a useful number of clones without wasting your energy." explained Naruto.
dEx nodded and thought it over for a few moments. She realized that she was probably wasting chakra before. After thinking it over for a few moments she knew what she could do. She focused her chakra more carefully this time and then she performed the hand seals that she had learned from the scroll.
"Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!"
dEx disappeared in a veil of smoke. As it cleared there were 5 dExs standing there. The clones looked at each other. Then they all looked at Naruto and smiled. Then the shadow clones all disappeared and dEx was standing there looking at Naruto. Maybe she had him wrong, he was actually a pretty good ninja.

"That is much better. If you keep working on it you'll have it down."
Suddenly there was a rustle in the trees nearby. dEx heard a voice yelling something. She began to make it out once the guy got closer.
"NARUTO!!! WHERE IS THE FORBIDDEN SCROLL?!?!" yelled Iruka as he approached the too.
For the first time ever dEx was actually frightened of Iruka. He was very mad. What did he mean when he said forbidden scroll. Then she looked at the scroll that Naruto had given her. She must've spoken too soon about him being okay.
"Oh No! Naruto what did you do?"
"It's okay. I'll take care of this. You get out of here."

"What's the matter Iruka?" said Naruto as he laughed nervously since he knew why Iruka was mad.
Before dEx could leave Iruka had jumped down between her and Naruto.
"What are you doing here dEx? You didn't take the scroll did you?"
"No no no. Naruto offered to teach me this skill. I didn't know that he wasn't supposed to take that scroll."
Naruto nodded to Iruka.
"I'm the one that took it. dEx wasn't involved."
Iruka seemed to calm down.
"Okay Naruto, just hurry up and get the scroll back before anyone else notices that the scroll is missing."
Naruto nodded and grabbed the scroll and disappeared from sight. Iruka smiled at dEx and then he disappeared as well. dEx shrugged and headed home.

Gana got up with a smile on his face feeling good tha the ha mastered his byakugan, but knew he would need some moves the rest of his team didnt have if he hoped of being a useful part of the team, so he went off in search of someone to teach him some techniques.
"501,502,503."
Gana heard someone counting by a river and when he went to see what it was he saw rock lee doing one handed vertical pushups by the river. Gana ran over to lee and knelt down in front of him. "Lee, ummm, would you mind training me in the art of the drunken fist." Gana said with a scared look on his face that Lee might reject him.
"Ok." Lee saidwith a grin as he hopped off his hand and landed on his feet. " but first, you are going to have to hit me." he spoke wiht a large grin on his face as he sat on the ground seeming wide opened
Gana was used to this routine from Drago so he didnt ask any questions and just charged at lee swinging his fist as hard as he could right at lee's prone face.
Lee tipped to the side avoiding Gana's attack and had a small grin on his face and he smacked Gana's arm away and spun around kicking Gana in the stomach knocking his away.

Gana fell back and had a surprised look on his face from what lee had just donw. 'what on earth have I just gotten myself into.' he thought to himself as he looked at the now standing lee staring down at him.
"the drunken fist style is a style of deception, you must lure your opponents to you and avoid their attacks and exploiting their weaknesses, if you manage to hit me then you will have understood the technique enough to be able to defeat it." he said as he did a front flip swinging right at Gana's head.
Gana had a grin on his face as he jumped to the side and saw an opening. "got you now." he said as he swung at the prone lee swinging like a maniac again right at his face.
Lee saw the attack coming and caught Gana's hand using the excess momentum to flip him over making him land on his back, knocking the wind right out of his body. "you will never master the technique with such predictable movements and attacks, you must also be unpredictable." he got back up as he spoke looking down at the fallen Gana

Gana got up feeling horrible and trying to catch his breath. after a few moments he stood up and looked Lee in the eyes. "ok, im ready." he said unconfidently in his skills that he would even be able to hit lee. he stepped one foot forwars and stretched his palm pot open. "Byakugan." he shouted now able to see all around him and hoping it would help in the tiniest bit.
"your Byakugan wont help you with this one." Lee said as he began throwing a flurry of punches at Gana knowing that he should be able to block them. after Gana had gotten used to the punches Lee flipped up onto his hands and began kicking at Gana as well as using his hands to try and trip him.
Gana had to problem blocking the punches and began to get confident in himself as a large smirk went on his face. the smirk quickly went away after lee jumped onto his hands and began kicking at him. 'this is totally unpredictable.' he thought to himself as he used his arms to block the sucession of kicks heading right at him and jumping out of the way trying to avoid the hands as well.

dEx went home to Shadow. After resting for a little while they went back out to train. They were working on some of their techniques. Then they decided to work on the Dual Piercing Fang. After they put a bunch of holes in a nearby wall they stopped spinning and landed on the ground. They began to look around because they sensed that they were being watch. Shadow changed back to a dog and barked.
"What are you doing here?" asked dEx as she turned to watch the spectator.
"I was just watching you train. You seem to be fairly good at taijutsu techniques. Would you spar with me?" asked Lee as he came out and approached dEx.
dEx didn't see the harm in getting some practice. She nodded in response as she began to prepare herself. She knew that Lee only knew taijutsu skills, but he was very strong. This fight could get very interesting. Shadow stood back a ways to watch the fight.
She lunged at him and prepared to start spinning.
"Piercing Fang!" she called as she began to spin like a tornado.

She was diving right for Lee when he dodged out of the way at the last possibly second. She stopped spinning and turned to face him. He was FAST! Then Lee came running at her. She began to perform some hand seals.
"Body Flicker!" called dEx as she disappeared in a veil of leaves.
When Lee reached her she was gone. She found a place to hide and pulled a kunai out of her pouch. Lee smiled and began to look around for her. Once he turned away from her she threw a kunai at him. The she took off running on all fours at him. When she got close she threw a second kunai at him. Lee was distracted by the Kunai and he didn't notice dEx coming for him. She jumped up at him.
"Dynamic Entry!" called dEx as she kicked Lee sending him stumbling backwards.
Lee stood up and smiled at her.
"Where did you learn that skill?"
"From Aburame Drago." responded dEx.

"Ah, he must be the one that is training you in preparation of the Chunin Exam. Would you let me teach you some other techniques that might be useful to you?" asked Lee as he gave dEx his nice guy pose.
She smiled and nodded. She could definitely use to learn a few more taijutsu skills before the exam.
"Great!" exclaimed Lee as he began to dance.
dEx was a bit shocked by his reaction and couldn't help but laught a little.
"What technique are you going to teach me?" asked dEx.
"The Spinning Leaf Kick!"
dEx nodded. She couldn't wait to hear more about this skill.
"This is an advanced taijutsu technique. You can dish out some real damage with it when you connect fully with your opponent. It is fairly accurate since you execute it with a high amount of speed. Watch me." said Lee as he turned to a nearby tree.

He took his stance and then he dropped down low and ran at the tree. dEx almost didn't see him as he jumped up and threw a round house kick at the tree. His kicked connected squarely with the tree and then Lee landed. dEx watched the tree as Lee turned to walk back to her. She noticed the tree shake and then it fell over away from them. Lee walked up to her and smiled.
"So what do you think?"
"Amazing!" responded dEx.
"Okay, the best way to learn this technique is to train with weights." said Lee as he removed the weights from his legs and he tossed them to her.
She caught one in each hand and her arms were quickly dragged straight to the ground. These were some pretty heavy weights and Lee could move that fast with them on. She attached them to her legs. These were much heavier than what she wore when she trained with Drago before.
"First you need to get used to those weights so go run around a little bit and then come back here and I'll help you learn the technique."

Drago looked and he started to chase down Master Sakura. She had avioded his tracker bug this time though. That was surprising. Unless she had been toying iwth him the whole time when htey were sparring. Drago looked and he sighed as he realised that he was losing time. DRago jumped and he landed on the ground and he saw a glimpse of a leaf ruffling. Drago looked and he smirked as he got ready. He saw another tree leaf move and fall to the ground. He calculated all out just right. He threw a shuriken into a tree but it didn't come back iwth a yell or even a faintest ouch. Drago looked and he was kicked in his back. She smiled as she jumped off his back and dissappeared again.
"Damn it!"
Drago said as he got up and he started to chase after her again. She was moving ten times faster than what he was used to seeing her move. Drago had to many wieghts on to move freely though. But he wasn't going to take those off unless it was life or death.

dEx nodded and began to try walking. It wasn't easy, but she was able to get going at a decent speed before long. Once walking seemed easier she began to slowly jog.
"That really makes my legs burn." said dEx, but she had to push herself.
She needed to learn this skill no mater what it took. dEx was on a mission to get a strong as possible for herself, like Drago had said. She wanted to push her own limits and see how far she could go. After slowly increasing her speed as she jogged she decided to try running. This was even hard, but she kept at it.
After about an hour she was able to run fairly fast with the weight on.
Then she took some time to try jumping and kicking at things. Lifting her legs was pretty hard at first. She stood and did leg lifts until it became easier. Once she was finally able to do kicks almost as easily as she could without the weights she ran back to Lee. He smiled when he saw that she was able to run so fast with the weights already.
"Are you ready to try the technique now?"

dEx walked up to Lee and nodded. She began to focus on a nearby tree. Then she dropped down like she did for the Piercing Fang and ran at the tree. As she got close she jumped up and executted a perfect flying round house.
"Spinning Leaf Kick!"
Her kick hit the tree and when she landed she saw a very large crack appear. Lee walked over to inspect the tree. He smiled at dEx.
"That is a great start. I think if you try it one more time you could have it down. Try to focus all of the momentum you get from running into your leg as you hit the tree."
dEx nodded and prepared to attack the tree again. She dropped low and ran as fast as she could at the tree.
"Spinning Leaf Kick!"
dEx's kick hit the tree squarely with a loud thud. She landed and the tree began to fall away from her. She smiled.
"Very good. That is enough for now. It's getting late and I'm sure you need some dinner."
dEx smiled and removed the weights from her legs and handed them back to Lee. Then she turned to see Shadow sound asleep a little ways away. She walked over and woke him up and they headed home.
