Shameless Plug: My birthday is Wednesday, January 7th. That's 2 weeks away. Would anyone be interested in joining me for another one of my boring little parties? yum_puddi
I have to find out what I'm working next month. I almost always work Wednesdays. I just have to find out what time I have to be in. What time were you thinking about having the party? ninja
I haven't really made any plans yet regarding that, I was more or less just throwing it out for now.
I'll probably find out towards the end of the week what I'm working that day and get back to you. 3nodding

Currently, I'm free between 7am-11pm...but I do have to sleep somewhere in there. Mornings work best for me, but I can also do evening or even early afternoon.

EDIT: If at night, I'd have to leave by like 9:45/9:50pm to get home and get ready for work.

Happy New Year, everyone! emotion_hug

I'm starting out the new year with a flat tire and being late to work. Now I have to spend part of my day off tomorrow at the repair shop. emotion_facepalm

If you made it home safe, that counts as a win.

Yes, yes it does. And the fact that I had a warm gas station/truck stop to wait in and not a car rapidly approaching thermal equilibrium is a very good thing as well. (Although emergency services don't fool around with stranded drivers out here because additional road hazards and risk of freezing to death.)

Yeah, I'd imagine so. The wagon would never do me well there, that's for certain. Should I ever decide to be up there, the first thing I'd do is get myself a good 4-wheel drive pick-up. 3nodding

Believe it or not, my front wheel drive Buick Lesabre seems to be a pretty good car. There's about a dozen around town that are exactly identical to mine, down to the paint even. If that many people drive them here, it's a solid car. There wouldn't be any if it sucked in winter.

I believe you, they are really good cars, waaaay better than your old Mazda IMO. I love my station wagons, but even I concede that your is the superior winter vehicle. 3nodding

*comes back from vacation*

Did I miss anything in the 1.5 weeks I was gone? ninja

I had no TV or internet access.

The Earth rotated around it's axis 11-ish times, but other than that? Nope.

The Snowpocalypse that my East Coast friends are dealing with has me amused. Minnesota thinks it's March or April right now.

I have done nothing pointful or useful lately.

I did sleep all day on Tuesday, but in my defense, I was feeling really bleh before I slept all day, and I felt awesome after having done so. cat_3nodding

I did sleep all day on Tuesday

I don't know why, but I slept 14 hours last night. burning_eyes
And I would have kept sleeping if my job didn't wake me to come in this morning. I wonder how long I would have slept for. Either way, this is about the longest I ever recall sleeping.

My alarm didn't go off on Thursday and my boss had my coworker call me at 3:07pm for my 3:00pm shift... sweatdrop

I was 50 minutes late to work thanks to traffic. emo
