I'm only at school for three hours. ='D
I'm from school from noon to 3:10, not counting an hour both ways for transportation. Tuesday/Thursdays are shorter, because I'll only have one class for most of the semester.

And yeah, It's Victoria Day, AKA that Queen's birthday, because we Canadian are still nice and symbolically attached to England.

Okay, posted at the Grindhouse and the Sonata's which is better than yesterday. ='D I'll post at the Park's and anywhere else I'm needed (can't remember at the moment) when I get home.
And if anyone sees Seryn while I'm gone! I need her to post at the Goddess Festival so I can reply and open voting. ;_______;
I like getting holidays for people's birthdays. ='D I missed both emperor birthday holidays (the current emperor's birthday is in December, and Emperor Hirohito's birthday was in April) which makes me sad. D<

I'd usually say that we'll have holidays to be together during the week, but I only get one this semester, in July. ='D And the semester ends right before that, so it's practically vacation.

@Osaka (and Loli?): Nah, you guys don't have that. It's really just Canada. England itself don't have that. It's the birthday of the reigning Queen when Canada was created.
Canada's holiday: New Year(Jan1st), Good Friday(friday before easter), Easter (first Sunday after the first full moon of spring), Victoria day (Monday before or on April 24), Canada Day (July first), Labour Day (first monday of September), Thanksgiving (Second Monday of October, falls on your guy's Columbus Day), Rememberence Day (November 11th), Christmas (December25th), Boxing Day(December 26th OR the first monday after Xmas, depending on the Province),
Then there's some specific to each province, most natably each province's birthday, Tintamare (August 15th, Newbrunswick), St-Jean Baptist (June 24th, Quebec), Louis Riel Day (First Monday of February in Manitoba).

I was looking up Japanese holidays and discovered that in 2003, the government decided to move a bunch of holidays to a Monday, so that there could be more three day weekends. The official name for this legislation, no joke, is "Happy Monday System", where "Happy Monday" is in English. xD
Marine Day (ocean day, literally) used to be on my birthday every year, and now it only overlaps a few times. ;______;

I live in the northish part of Minnesota, so, we have alot of Canadian influence down here. Plus, random fact. I'm French-canadian! 83
Lol Forest lake never gets hit by Tornado's or anything... only heavy rain... I think ONCE we had hail, but it was only like.... the end of a pen-size hail.
@Loli ;; The Translation book for Japanese labeled all the holiday's in Japan... I had to return the book unfortunatly. T~T Oh well, I guess that's what the internet was made for.

Well, umm.... I should specify. I have French-canadian in my blood, but I have alot of other things too! Like; German, Swedish, Norwiegn, Irish, and Scandinavian. :3 My family's been alllll over the freakin' place! Yet.... I feel as if I was born in the wrong body, in the wrong time, with the wrong heritages. Oh, and wrong place! USA's great and all, but I can't help but feel.... there's something waaaaay better.
