Well...
The answer was 10. If you write it like this:
2 2
And flip the paper over you'll get:
5 5
Add them and you get 10. 10 is the answer. Because I said 5, I got 20 bucks and "won". So yay for Miriam XD

Pfft. Turning the paper over to represent a new number is just that. A new number. Therefore while the mind thought of it to be a five, it was still a written two. Meaning when you added them it still equaled four, regardless that you thought it equaled ten. So that company phails @ lyfe.

No actually you get two upside-down twos. If you get 5+5 then your writing is crap. *laugh* Tell your mother to tell that guy that Meriko says he's an idiot masquerading as a smartarse.

i still have no idea what you guys are on about....but from reading the fliping over bit...i can see things from the mathmatical point of view and if you flip a number it is still the same number just flipped...Like fliping my avatar its still my avatar... sweatdrop be sides if you flip the no. 2 i dont see how it becomes a fove...the person that told you that was either a little dense in the head or trying to be a smart arse...

I like problems that want you to solve them with logic, intelligence, or knowledge. I don't like problems that require you to use slyness or manipulation of commonly accepted rules and reality.
It's like..."Congratulations! You CHEAT." XD

actually, by that logic:
5+5=10 5-5=0 5*5=25 5/5=1
So there are two possible answers, not one.
Now, the more logical thing to do would have been to do it on a CALCULATOR:
2+2=4 2-2=0 2*2=4 2/2=1
Flip the calculator over, suddnely it reads h=5+5
THE ANSWER IS H!
