The Capitan of the football team at one of my local high schools is probably one of the biggest Hellsing fans ever! Mireo has a point, but does he want a cookie? What the hell was the point of that thread? Okay, he's not talking cool in the sense of "it's cool because we like it" but cool in the sense of socially accepted, then the two issues are completely parallel. A lot of people just don't give a s**t about what's socially accepted. And, beyond that, I don't think anime is seen as a "nerds" pastime as much as it was in the past, but I only have what goes on in my own town to back that up.
