Aiko Destiny I'm assuming you also can't rotate a - sign and pretend it's a 1, right? XD No. Lyoko - As I said, it can't be 2 @-@ And I already thought off that possibility, but in that case, he won't say anything until the party thing...and then I just want to smack him even more. Our Math Teacher did something like that >< Gave us a puzzle and said if we could do it, we'd have a perfect score for the whole quarter... I did get it in a way, but in reality, there was no answer so he was just tricking us and driving us insane...

Could you tell me why it can't be 2? confused
2=2 is a logical mathematical equation that follows the rules set in the riddle. You can't say that the equal sign is invalid, because before we were trying things like 2/2=1 and such.
Two is a correct answer to this riddle, and if they don't accept it, it's because they know it's right and don't want to give prizes.

Unknown Variable Could you tell me why it can't be 2? confused 2=2 is a logical mathematical equation that follows the rules set in the riddle. Two is a correct answer to this riddle, and if they don't accept it, it's because they know it's right and don't want to give prizes. How would I know? They asked and it was said it's wrong, and since it doesn't include +, -, /, or x, I'm guessing it doesn't count. I didn't make up the riddle so don't ask me questions you should know I can't answer XP And obivously, it's not the correct answer. *goes to the link Miriam gave* @-@

Get your mother to ask if factorials are allowed. If so, the answer is twenty four.
(2^2)!=24.

Well, my mom is leaving for the thing now (It ended up being at 4 XP) so I just told her to ask about 5, 42, and 24. Not sure if I can call her fast enough for any other answers, but she said she'd call back with the right one and/or if the ones we said are right.

I remember hearing my mom said they weren't..But my head is killing me so I may be wrong and just hallucinating x-x Either way, I remember that there is no real square root for 2...And if you do it, you get 1.*lotsofdecimals* and I'm pretty sure the answer is a whole number.

There was a cute one laid on us as school once. ^^ What number is closest to the plant world? Everyone was guessing three because it sounds a bit like tree, but that was incorrect.
The answer was four. (highlight -> Because in Roman Numerals, four is IV or "ivy.")
