I wasn't saying you had emotional issues...But that's 6 hrs from where I live in Upstate NY! hehehe (never been there though)[rant]I'm always amazed at how HUGE the state is and when you say "I'm from NY" everyone automatically thinks you're from the Bronx, and then you have to amaze them when you point to a cow, and say "This is not a dog" and how they don't understand that collisions with animals larger than cats do in fact exist and that according to insurance companies deer are "acts of God" and entirely unavoidable (Bull honky in my opinion) and apparently all deer are born with a will to die horribly at the front of an automobile throughly intact.[/rant]

Actually about 5 hours away ^__^"
And yeah, you're right.
I feel like everytime I say I'm from New York I have to follow it with, no not NYC. XD

I used to work in New York state every summer, and I always worded it like that to be clear. Well, after the first few times I was asked how NYC was. stare I was in the westernmost tip of the state, possibly the farthest away you could get from NYC. It only took me three hours to drive there from my house in Ohio, for goodness' sake!

Well I live near one of the most polluted lakes in the country XD
Onondaga Lake. Ugh. I'd never go in there in fear of coming out mutated.

I am actually quite anxious to read it. Though, thanks to people at work trying to do spoilers, I had to pick up a copy and read the final couple of paragraphs. I got what I needed out of that, and am now very much wanting to read the whole book.

Haven't read it yet, cause frankly she lost me on the 4th one, but I will eventually. I went in to Barnes and Nobles the other day and some guy walked straight to the display, flipped to the last page, and then closed the book, sighing and saying "Ok, happy ending." I quietly said "Cheater!" as I passed him and he gave me a strange look, ah well.
As for NY, I live in the 2nd or 1st poorest county in the state! Whoot! They were going to put a nuclear waste dump here it's so bad. But fortunately all the people were like "Er...we live here, did you notice? And I like having two arms, not three tentacles." and did the old sit-ins, chaining themselves to bridges(that was actually elderly people) and road blocks, as well as some songs about it. Funtastic. Of course they wouldn't dream of teaching us this in school, despite the fact that some of our parent's were jailed for it... rolleyes
