Are you certain that's wise, considering what I am? You might find yourself in an unfavorable position with your master...that is, unless you make it worth my while to keep you out of his grasp." Chrono jumped back and sliced at Mortises lower arm right below his elbow and uses his other claw to slice at his neck

mortis moved his arm and stabbed at chrono's chest with his wrist blade but didn't move in time to safe his neck. the claw sliced through his throat, causing blood to flow into his mouth. he spat it into chrono's face and his neck healed almost instantly as he thrust his other dagge around chrono's back towards his shoulderblade.

Takiko appeared behind Chrono. She thrusted her katana at him from behind with both of her hands on the katana.

"I'll not disobey my master. My only vow is to serve my Lord and any other of higher rank than myself. I only follow my orders to the letter. He should know better. The rules of command do not allow for him to punish me if I did not break his laws or orders."

Z seeing that he cannot help jumps and lands on the edge of a building near-by, giving Mortis plenty of room to fight....

Chrono ducks his back then sees Takiko coming and grabs Mortises hand making sure not to touch the blade and throws Mortis at Takiko then runs away knowing Tosh wont send anyone to kill him because hes out numbered

mortis stopped himself from getting hit and breathed heavily. he stumbled a step before regaining his balance. he laughed at his ex friend's retreat. "tosh is goint to have his a** for this one" he said jokingly as he put away all his weapons.
