Zhao blushed and set Danni into a cup of water used to clean hands. "Opps..."
Romano kept staring at the cat. "If your going to have a pet then treat it nice or I'll throw it out in the streets got it?"

Danni was relaxed, he didn't mind the water at all.
"Nice try Zhao." He laughed, it was just like danni's laugh. "I love water. "

Zhao grumbled and lifted Fannie up. "No fair! You like water and you talk?"
Romano raised a eyebrow, their son was talking to a cat? "Ook..." he snatched danni away and set him outside before closing the door. "Cat sleeps outside..." he crossed his arms.

In a few minutes Danni was right back by Zhao's side, growling at Romano. This time, Romano could hear him too.
"DON'T YOU EVER TRY TO SEPARATE ME FROM ZHAO AGAIN OR I'LL SCRATCH YOUR EYES OUT!!!"
Hyua got wide eyed, she had heard as well.
"Well that's... strange.."

Romano blinked and rubbed his forehead. "Whatever..." he shuffled away to go to bed. He snatches about four beers and hid them from Hyua while he went upstairs.
Zhao picked up danni and hugged him gently. "I know mommy...scared me earlier..." He snuggled Danni close and stroked his fur to calm it down.

Hyua smiled, remembering how human the other kitten, Romano, had seemed.
Danni began to purr and licked Zhao's cheek, which was his equivalent to a kiss in his book. He wished he could kill Romano but he wouldn't be able to in till they resurrected him:

Zhao smiled softly, cuddling Danni and carrying him in the kitchen, setting him on the table. He got a jug of milk out, taking a glass to try and pour it in but he got it all over the kitchen floor. "...drink up before mommy sees!" he smiled, setting the jug away.

Danni drank up the milk quicker than anything. He LOVED milk, even as a human, which is why he always attacked people who had drank milk in the past hour or so, made them taste better.

Zhao smiled, he was like a little fluffy vaccum! "Your so cute!" Then he frowned, it reminded him of how much Danni always loved milk and brought him to tears. "The real Danni loved milk...he was so picky at what human he ate because of that..." He got up and sighed, wanting to just go to his room and curl up to cry again.

Danni looked up at Zhao and rubbed against his leg, falling back and wiggling a bit, trying to act silly.

Zhao looked at him and smiled softly before helping him up and going upstairs. "I miss him so much..." He slipped at the top step and got wide eyed, flailing his arms to catch anything but tumbled down the stairs. "Ah!" He didn't want to land on the kitten Danni so he tried to make sure he wouldn't, he did land near Danni and slid into him on the tile floor on his face, his arm bumping into him."Owww...I-I hate stairs..."
Romano came rushing down when he heard him land and got wide eyed. "Hyua! Where is the closest hospital?!" "I-I can see his spine sticking out...and all the broken bones..."

Danni's little eyes were wide.
"Z-Zhao.."
Hyua ran in and gasped.
"I'll heal him before he loses too much blood!" She ran over to Zhao and started healing him, stopping the bleeding at least.

Romano lifted Danni onto his head and helped get zhao up carefully. "We have to get him to the hospital now Hyua! Zhao can you hear me?" He needed Hyua to hold the upper part of Zhao up or it would hurt his broken spine more.
Zhao looked at them sleepily, he couldn't feel any pain. He couldn't responde to what Romano said but he mumbled Danni's name a bit.

Hyua nodded and helped Romano get Zhao to the hospital, she was so worried!
Danni padded along, mewing frantically, trying to get Zhao to answer.
"Zhao? Zhao please say something!!"

Romano got a doctor to come when they got there, setting him on a rolling bed while he swooped up Danni and set him by Zhao's head. Zhao still wasn't responding very well, he was looking at Danni weakly with that look that if he had to fight to survive then he'd fail because of loosing Danni. The doctor and some nurses rolled him and Danni into the ER to get into surgery quick. Romano pulled Hyua close and hugged her tightly.
