MISSION- Clone Clearout
Must complete Fearow of Water

The word in Lavender Town is that Team Aqua has been moving large amounts of equipment out of the Power Plant. But we don’t have an installation there, so it can't be our doing.

I've looked over the legband recovered from the Fearow, and it looks like the work of Team Clone.

Your mission is to get inside the plant and find whatever is left of their operation. Bring back any documents you can get your hands on. Try to go unseen, but you might have to fight anyway. (Fight 0-3 guards with 1-3 pokemon each)

Pokemon: Any basic stage Electric or Ghost type

Funds: 1000-1800

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maddy sat up and rubbed her head.
“Dammit, that hurt!”
She was standing up and brushing some dust off her clothes when her TADS started beeping loudly. She flipped it open and read the message.
“So Team Clone was behind the Fearow attacking everyone, eh? Figures…”
She continued reading the message.
“Ok, to Lavender Town!”
She ran to her room and retrieved all 6 of her Pokemon’s Pokeballs, along with 3 empty Pokeballs.
“I think that’s just about everything!”
With that, she ran outside into the cool evening air.
“Ahhhh gotta love night time!”
She hopped on her Aqua DX bike and rode off, traveling over endless plain and through lush forest. She rode on for about a half hour before she arrived at Lilycove.
“I guess I’ll have to take a boat to get to Lavender…”
Maddy rode down to the harbour and bought a ticket to get on the ship. She looked at her watch. It was getting late. With a shrug, she dropped everything off in her cabin and went out onto the top deck of the ship. She watched the deep blue ocean waves crash against the side of the boat, casting tiny water droplets into the crisp night air. With a sigh, she looked up at the moon shining bright silver against a black canvas dotted with stars of all colors, flashing brilliantly. All the lights in the night sky glimmered beautifully, reflected in the deep ocean below.
With a slight shiver, Maddy went inside where it was warmer and ocean free. The sea sort of scared her, and being on this boat wasn’t all that relaxing to her, despite the beautiful scene outside her window. She went to her cabin and lay back on her bed, staring at the ceiling.
“It’s been so long since I’ve last been on a mission. Let’s hope I pull this off.”
She let Prinplup and Combusken out of their Pokeballs and she drifted off into a dreamless sleep, curled up with her two best Pokemon.
She woke up early that morning, and for an instant she thought she was staring herself right in the face, but she blinked a couple times and no one was standing over her and looking at her. She sat up and stretched. The room was completely empty, but she was positive that someone had been in their. With a shrug, she returned both Prinplup and Combusken, who were still asleep, and left the room.
She sat out on deck for a good bit of the day, watching the horizon, hoping to see one little tiny piece of land. She hadn’t even been on the boat for a full day yet and already she was sick of it. There was nothing to do at all. She looked over her shoulder to see if anyone was there, and she caught a glimpse of someone quickly running around the corner. Normally that wouldn’t have caught her attention, but that someone looked exactly like her.
Maddy got up and ran around the corner, in pursuit of her stalker. But there was no one at all.
“Me eyes must be playing tricks on me.”
With a yawn, she decided to go and take a nap.

The boat trip lasted almost a week, and throughout that week, Maddy spotted her look-alike stalker numerous times. It was starting to creep her out and she was glad to finally get off the boat.
It had been a long time since she had last set foot in Kanto, and today was great because the sun was shining brightly and the city of Vermillion was full of activity. Getting on her bike, she rode off through the streets of Vermillion and soon found herself riding on the outskirts of the city, headed towards Rock Tunnel.

After a half hour of bike riding, Maddy skidded to a halt in front of the monstrous cave.
“Dammit, I don’t really wanna go in there.”
With a sigh, she hopped off her bike and entered the cave.
Walking into the cave was like walking into a room with no lights and no windows. Pitch black darkness. Maddy wandered around in the dark abyss, wondering what the hell she should do. She couldn’t see anything, and the strange hisses and sound of claws scraping over rock didn’t help calm her nerves. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a Pokeball. She tossed it into the darkness, and the momentary flash of light as Charmander appeared nearly blinded her.
Blinking a couple times, her eyes adjusted to the light that Charmander’s tail was giving off. The flame cast light at least 20 feet in all directions, providing at least some sort of seeing conditions. With a shrug, Maddy continued on.
The path through Rock Tunnel was pretty straightforward. She had to backtrack a couple times thanks to random dead ends, but eventually the entrance came shining into view. She covered her eyes as she stepped out into the blazing sunlight, glad to be free from the dark grasps of the cave behind her. Recalling Charmander, she brought out her bike and rode off to her destination, Lavender Town, stopping at the Pokemon Center situated there.
Maddy spent the remainder of the day at the Pokemon Center. She decided that night time would be the best time to try and pull off her mission. As she sat there in the Pokemon Center, she looked around. The place was really silent, and she was the only one there, except for one girl sitting over in the corner. The stalker. Maddy was about to jump to her feet, but the other girl just disappeared suddenly. Maddy rubbed her head.
“Hitting the couch must’ve caused some sort of mental illness ‘cause I was not seeing meself all over the place before that moment!”
Crossing her arms, she pulled her thoughts together, trying to think of some valid reason for seeing herself all over the place, but none came to mind. With a sigh, she lay her head back and closed her eyes.
It was late when Nurse Joy shook Maddy awake, telling her she was best of getting a room at the local inn. Maddy gathered up all her things, thanked Nurse Joy graciously, and headed out the door, but instead of heading towards the inn, she headed towards the Power Plant, her main target on this mission.
Getting into the building without being caught was simple, security was pretty slack outside, and climbing up into the nearest ventilation shaft was a piece of cake for Maddy and her gravity defying skills.
Maddy crawled through the vents, trying her hardest to stop from coughing as all the dust filled her lungs. These guys weren’t so good at keep the vents clean. She kept on going for countless minutes, turning here and there, not knowing where she was going.
“Dammit, I need to find those documents!”
She just stopped and thought about her situation. She was trapped in an air vent, not knowing where in the building she was and where the hell she should head or how the hell to get out! She started to crawl backwards, hoping to somehow find the way to the outside, when a purple light appeared in front of her. It was sort of like a floating flame and it had an almost ghost-like appearance.
“What the --?!”
The flame floated off down a passage to Maddy’s left. Captivated by the stunning color of the flame, Maddy had no choice but to pursue. The flame led her through the maze of vents and air shafts until it just disappeared, leaving her to lie in the middle of a random vent.
“Great, I find a helpful hallucination and it burns out.”
She was about to curse under her breath when she thought about something.
“I’ll just put meself in someone else’s shoes. Let’s see… What would Brian do in this situation?”
The only picture that came to mind was Brian praying for a way to get out of the vent and being stuck in there for months until finally a bright shining light shoots out of the sky and he teleports outside to safety. She slapped herself across the face.
“Stupid mind! I’m Atheist god dammit! Don’t turn holy on me now!!!”
She was about to curse under her breath yet again when the vent collapsed under her weight and she tumbled down through the ceiling and into a random room. She leapt to her feet, running her fingers through her hair like nothing happened, preparing for the worst. But absolutely no one was in the room.
“Oh… Ok!”
She examined the room carefully, looking for hints as to where to go, when she came across a filing cabinet. She walked over to the cabinet curiously and opened it, eyeing its contents.
There were at least 20 different documents in here. She scanned through them, reading the labels on each of them until one caught her eye. It was labelled: “TOP SECRET TEAM CLONE OPERATION”. Maddy sighed.
“Could that be any more obvious? I hate all this clichés!”
She stuffed the document in her backpack and turned around to leave when she found herself looking at, well, herself. The other Maddy was holding a tranquilizer gun in her hand, and the gun was pointed right at the actual Maddy. Maddy backed up against the wall.
Maddy: “Hey… uhh… Why are you me?”
The other Maddy smirked.
Other Maddy: “I’m your clone, of course. That’s why we’re called Team Clone.”
Maddy: “Oh… I should’ve seen that coming.”
Other Maddy: “Well, it doesn’t matter now. Hand over the documents and I might consider letting you stay awake.”
Maddy: “Never! I know all your greatest weaknesses!”
Other Maddy: “I know all your weaknesses as well, Maddison.”
Maddy flinched as her real name echoed through her ears.
Maddy: “Ok! How about this? I challenge you to a match, and if you win, I’ll hand over the documents and you can tranq me, but if I win, I leave here with the documents and I get to tranq you!”
Other Maddy: “Deal! But it has to be a double battle!”
Maddy: “Fine!”
Maddy reached into her pocket to take out Combusken and Prinplup’s Pokeballs, but only found Pichu’s.
Maddy: “Huh?”
Other Maddy: “I should mention, I sort of stole all your Pokeballs while you were asleep at the Pokemon Center. I left them on the counter there.”
Maddy: “You set me up! Dammit me that is so clever of you!”
The other Maddy smirked and sent out two Pokemon, Combusken and Prinplup. Maddy sent out Pichu. Maddy opened her mouth to give Pichu a command, but there was a flash of light and the purple flame appeared in front of her. It transformed into the ghostly form of a Ghastly. The Ghastly floated down next to Pichu, it was going to help.
Maddy: “Ok! Pichu, use Thunderbolt on Prinplup and Ghastly use Nightshade on Combusken!”
Pichu’s attack was critical, it paralyzed Prinplup greatly. To Maddy’s surprise, Ghastly actually listened and the attack sent Combusken flying back into the wall, but it got back up again ready for more.
Other Maddy: “Combusken! Use Sky Uppercut on that stupid ghost! Prinplup, pull yourself together and use Bubblebeam on Ghastly as well!”
Only Combusken attacked Ghastly, seeing how Prinplup was too paralyzed, but the attack went right through Ghastly’s body. Combusken staggered forward.
Maddy: “Ghastly! Confuse Ray Combusken and Pichu strike Prinplup with Thundershock!”
Prinplup was KO’ed by Pichu’s Thundershock, but Ghastly’s Confuse Ray failed to confuse Combusken. Not even waiting for the other Maddy to give it a command, Combusken used Flamethrower on Pichu and the torrent of waves KO’ed the small mouse. Maddy returned Pichu and turned to Ghastly.
Maddy: “Use Nightshade again!”
Ghastly’s attacked missed. The other Maddy smirked again.
Other Maddy: “Combusken, finish that puff of smoke off with Flamethrower!”
The jet of flame hit Ghastly, dealing a great amount of damage.
Maddy: “Hang in there, Ghastly! Use Confuse Ray!”
This time, Ghastly’s attack hit, successfully confusing Combusken. Combusken staggered around all dizzy-like, looking like it didn’t have a clue as to what was going on. It suddenly started beating itself up and it fainted.
As Combusken fell, Maddy ran over and hauled the tranquilizer out of her clone’s hands.
“Nighty night!”
She shot the other Maddy and watched as she crumpled over, fast asleep with her fainted Pokemon. Maddy smiled and went to jump up into the vents again, when she spotted Ghastly. It looked really tired.
“Might as well…”
Maddy took an empty Pokeball from her pocket and threw it at Ghastly. The Pokemon was absorbed into the ball.
Shake…
Shake…
Shake…
… Ding!
Ghastly was caught!
With a smile, Maddy picked up the Pokeball, put it in her pocket, and climbed up into the vents. She wandered around in the vents for about an hour, not wanting to summon Ghastly to help her while it was so tired, until she finally tumbled out into the cool outdoors air. The sun was just starting to rise.
With a yawn, Maddy headed back to the Pokemon Center where she retrieved her other Pokemon, glad to see them safe. She sat down at a nearby table and watched the sunrise through the window. She rested her head on her hands, and her eyes slowly started to close. It had been a long mission, catching a few more hours of sleep wouldn’t hurt before the return back to HQ. With that, Maddy fell asleep, dreaming of finally getting back to HQ and sleeping in her own bed.

MISSION- Shadow's Weapon
Well, Team Shadow 'supposedly' has a weapon under development that can defeat us. Heh, yeah right. xD Your mission is to go and infiltrate their Orre base and steal the weapon plans. Getting inside won't be so hard, but once inside you'll see they're heavily gaurded. Whatever you do, don't get caught!! The weapon plans are located in the lab, which is also heavily gaurded and has some nifty security devices inside. Getting inside there won't be a peice of cake, but the inside of the lab is completely ungaurded. ..Except for all those security things they got everywhere. T. T Anyways, snatch those plans then get the heck out of there 'fore someone sees you!!

Pokemon:
Any Steel, Dark or Psychic Type Pokemon allowed at your rank. No Mini-Legends or 2nd Stage evos. (It'll be fought outside the base and preferably nowhere near it, otherwise you'll cause a ruckus and caught, dontcha think? xP)

Varies. ^.^

Well its about 3pm back at HQ and I get an urgent message on my TADs informing me about a plot to destroy all Team Aqua bases concocted by Team Shadow and that their base in the Orre region held the plans to their supposed “death machine“. The small message I got did not give me to much more information but from what I can figure stealth is key in this mission. So I go to my PC box system and deposit most of my team leaving just Vulpix and Treeko my two fastest pokemon. Barely awake I begin to plan out my mission

The first major problem that came to my mind was transportation to Orre and back and taking Brian’s keys to the Kyogre jet again could cause some conflict. So I open up my laptop and do a little research on the region, apparently there is a small airport on the outskirts of Pyrite town and there is fairly cheap plane tickets for an overnight trip leaving 11pm that night. Reading this information I take my traveling bag out and pack up enough necessities for a two night stay in Orre.

As I sit in anticipation in my room waiting for time to pass till its time to leave for the airport, I decide to take a little cat nap…. Well when I woke up I slept longer than I thought and I had to rush out the door just to reach the airport in time to get ticket. I rush out the front door, grab my Aqua Bike DX that was leaned agent the side of outside wall and I went off without any notice to other team members that I was about to start a mission. After riding my bike for a couple of hours I reached the airport and quickly purchased my tickets, by that time it was about ten at night and I couldn’t keep myself still waiting for my plane to load so for about an hour I pace back and fourth in excitement. As my plane number was called to be loaded I race for specified gate. As I was boarding the plane I looked at it and saw that there was not a very large line. I sat down in my seat and looked around and saw that there was only 5 other seats besides mine and only 3 were occupied. I closed my eyes forgetting how exhausted I was from that long day and I thought to myself …. Team shadow did have one thing right they didn’t put their base in a heavily tourist filled region right after that thought I reclined my seat and fell asleep. I woke up a few times during the night due to turbulence but still seemed to get enough rest after that long day. The plane landed at about 5am in the morning waking me up suddenly. As soon as I heard the pilot announced that it was safe to unbuckle and exit the plane I stood up quickly grabbed my onboard luggage and I impatiently sat again in the unbelievably tiny airport waiting for the rest of my luggage to arrive. Almost an half an hour later my bike and my travel bag arrived and I quickly ran outside of the airport.

Finally just getting to my mission I decide to head for the Pyrite town to gather information on team shadow. I visited a local hotel and the man at the desk claimed that a laboratory just east of town was built about a month ago surrounded by a chain of mountains. As soon as he said that I knew that that had to be the place where team shadow is conducting their experiments, so I left the man the small amount of money I had left after my trip as a token of my appreciation and I rushed out the door, latched my luggage to the side of my bike and I began to travel toward team shadows hidden base.

Only half way there I stopped at a small rest house in the middle of nowhere, forgetting that I had no money left. As I explained my situation to the kind old woman that owned the building she said that if I can take care of a small problem for her I can stay as long as I want. Not even hearing the task she wants me to do I quickly answered without thinking “Yes, Yes, ill do it, ill do anything”.

She pulled me out a chair for me to sit on and she sat down herself beginning to explain her situation…..” I am having a very hard time running this small lodge all by myself, and the last couple of days I have been having some burglary troubles, I seem to have been loosing my food supply that I keep in my basement every night after I head off to bed, and I am not able to stay awake to stop the robbers never mind stop them. If I let you stay here for the day would you be a dear and stay up tonight to try to protect my building“.

Seeing the fear in the elderly woman’s eyes I kept to my promise and agreed to her deal and besides I always love a good mystery case. So I sleep the rest of the day away on a couch in the lodges sitting room resting up for my small side mission while the elderly woman tends to my pokemon.

I awake about 9 at night and I stumble outside with my pokemon and begin my lookout post waiting for the robbers to arrive. Only minutes later I see a shadow in the corner of my eye moving at alarming speeds, that’s when Treeko and Vulpix simultaneously ran in the direction of the shadow making low growling noises. Myself still in a daze from what just happened, pulls out my flashlight and I run after my pokemon.

In all the commotion I lost track of both of my pokemon and the mysterious shadow, so I begin to search the perimeter of the building searching for any signs of life. that’s when I noticed a decent sized hole on the back wall of the building where that burglars entered and that’s where they must be now. So I shine my flashlight into the opening and I begin to squeeze through myself. As I fell onto the floor I noticed Vulpix lying on the floor injured and Treeko pinning the shadowy figure to the floor, I quickly get up and run over to the light switch and I turn it on revealing the figures identity. I look in astonishment seeing that it was not even human it was the pokemon Sneasel more than likely stealing food to survive in the wild wasteland around this area… I felt terrible for the poor pokemon so I decide I have to catch it and give it a chance at enjoying life… seeing that Vulpix was already to damaged to battle anymore I have to fight with a type disadvantage, I return Vulpix to its pokeball and I call off Treeko’s attack.
As soon as Treeko gave Sneasel leeway to move it began to move so quickly I was unable to keep my eye on its bolting attacks on Treeko, but seeing Treeko is fairly advanced in the speed field also he was able to dodge and even occasionally counter Sneasel’s attacks. As both of them began to weaken and loose momentum Sneasel crouched down and took a breath, as soon as Treeko saw that opening he bolted in for an Ariel Ace without any command and he knocked the wild Sneasel on the ground and began to pin down and unleash a barrage of slashing attacks yet again. Treeko was about to deliver to deliver the final blow when I ran over and pulled him off the mauled Sneasel. Then I took a couple steps back and lobed a pokeball at it. The ball quivered a few times then sat still. I picked up the ball put it a slot in my belt then walked up into a room the kind lady let my stay in and slept peacefully for the rest of the night. I awoke early the next morning to rustling sounds downstairs, completely rested I stood up and got changed and went down stairs to tell the woman the good news.

As I entered the kitchen where I heard the noises I saw the woman by the stove cooking a delicious smelling breakfast in my honor not even knowing if I completed my task or not. I sat down at the small table and the woman keeping her attention to what she was cooking turned around for just a moment to say “well how did it turn out” then she turned back to the stove pouring some milk into what she was making then placing it on the counter to let it cool, then she pulled up a chair and sat next to me waiting eagerly for an answer. I explained the whole situation to her and told her how Sneasel was only doing it to survive, she seemed to understand completely so I let Sneasel out of his ball and he looked at the woman and did nothing but put his head down like he was almost ashamed.

She mumbled to herself “its ok” and began to pat Sneasel on his head, Sneasel looked up and smiled then ran over and jumped on my lap. She walked back over the counter and brought over a large bowl of what looked like homemade oatmeal then she dished out enough for both of us and my pokemon. We ate our fill, and I thanked the woman for her hospitality then me and my pokemon left to continue our mission.

I let all my pokemon stay out of their balls and I hopped on my bike and let Vulpix ride on the handle bars while Sneasel and Treeko ran alongside. After about an hour we reached a road between two large mountain chains and in the distance we can see a large gray dreary building with the front door wide open. As I slowly ride down the pathway Sneasel runs ahead and trips a laser trap which caused the door of the laboratory to seal shut. As soon as that happened I saw 2 guards rush toward the pathway with large guns in their hands, as they got close enough they knelt down and prepared to fire, but before they could Sneasel ran toward them at unbelievable speeds and knocked the guns out of both of their hands and pushed them both over. I quickly ran to catch up with Sneasel but by the time I got there Sneasel had broken both guns, knocked both guards out cold and picked a card key out of one of their pockets… At that moment all I can do is stand there in astonishment then I had to grab Sneasel and do a happy dance.

As I made it to the front door I put the card key into the slot on the side of the entrance then the large metal door lifted allowing my team access to the rest of the building. As soon as I made it inside I made sure the door closed behind me not allowing the guards access back inside. I sat down on the floor before heading further into this place and reread the mission report on my TADS reminding me to watch out for traps inside the building.

As I examined the long hallway there only seemed to be one room at the end but I figured this hall has to be finned with traps so I moved with complete caution. Every few steps I had Sneasel use his icy wind attack making some laser alarms visible but for only a moment. As I reached the end of the long hall I had Sneasel use icy wind one last time revealing a wall of lasers, so I sat down on the floor puzzled for a moment trying to think of a way to avoid setting them off. Then I thought the holes where small enough in the mesh like wall of lasers for my pokemon to fit though so I gave all my pokemon the command to go inside the large room and seek out a way to shut off the laser system.

As soon as I stated my commands Sneasel and Treeko nodded at each other ran through the holes in the lasers and ran into the air duct system in the side of the wall. A few minutes later hearing small footsteps in the walls all power went out through the whole building and Sneasel and Treeko returned with pieces of wires in their mouths while Vulpix just wandered around the room aimlessly. As the power shut off so did the lasers so I ran into the large room and searched for signs of a death machine. In a filing cabinet in the back of the room I found blue prints for some sort of machine that looked dangerous so I stole them and put them in my luggage bag. As I zippered up my bag a looked over to the wall and noticed a lever on the side of the wall and curiosity got the best of me so I went over and pulled on it.

As I pulled the mysterious lever the wall began to slide revealing a hidden room with a large half built machine in the corner that looked a lot like what I saw in the blue prints so I assumed that’s what I came here to seek and destroy and that’s exactly what I did. I called Vulpix into the room with the machine seeing that she forgot why she was here and seemed to be doing a search of her own and I had her use her newly obtained overheat attack on the machine melting it into a pile of cinders and melted metals. As soon as Vulpix done that I heard another alarm go off which mush have been hooked up to an emergency generator, which gave me a strong reason to leave and end my mission….I ran for the door as fast as possible escaping with my pokemon at my side and apparently just in time because as soon as I was outside I noticed large flames shooting out of the back of the building more than likely due to Vulpix’s overheat.

As soon as I seen the flames I ran for my bike fearing any more danger but before I did I noticed the guards still unconscious near the burning building so I moved them to safety because the last thing I want is to be responsible for any deaths to the good or the bad. As soon as I got the guards to safety I looked at my watch and saw that my return flight was boarding in a few hours so I hopped on my bike returned all my pokemon to their pokeballs and pedaled faster than I ever had before just barely making it back into the airport in time to make it on my plane. On the plane even though it was only about 8pm but I was so tired I still slept the whole ride home not even waking to the terrible turbulence that was experienced on the first ride. As I reached the airport I awoke relieved and refreshed and took one last small bike ride back to HQ.

Pass, keep the Sneasle. The mission itself was really good. Just a few points. Typically the goal of the mission should be the longest part of the mission, in yours it maybe was a third. The Sneasle/Treecko battle, well Sneasle honestly should've won if Treecko, without you telling it to, used Aerial Ace. And the Sneasle rushing the guards bit, well guards are typically incompetent yes, but they would have Pokemon themselves.

Anyways, take 1500 PD. And when your ready to rank-up, do a Level 2 mission.

Pokemon: Any basic stage Electric or Ghost type

Funds: 1000-1800

*Stickynote!*
Pass! Combusken seemed a bit... evasive, but there are held items that'll cause that. As for Gastly, that's not usually how we catch wild pokemon, but I'll let it slide because the rest of your mission was excellent.

You definitely have good storytelling skills, and that's what I want to see on the Team Clone missions. By the way, you haven't seen the last of Clone Maddy. You'll need stronger pokemon to deal with her next time, so how about a rank-up?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today, I was really excited, mainly because I was a new member of Team Aqua, but also because I was ready for a mission. As soon as I woke up, I hurriedly got on my usual outfit, put my watch on, grabbed the pokeballs on my dresser, and grabbed my pocket knife. “You can never be sure of what the day brings”, I said, as I got my shoes on. “Alright, let’s see what missions there are”, I say as I head over to the bulletin board. “Hmmm, this one sounds good ‘Night Raid on Devon: Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Devon Corporation and steal 50 PokeNAVs. But you must not be seen by anyone. Beware there are 10 guards in the building. You must enter the building. Then make your way to level 3 were the PokeNAVs are. But get them quickly and return back. All the PokeNAVs are in one box'. This means I have to go to Rustboro, alright then I better get going.” I run to get my Aqua Bike and start my journey to Rustboro.

“Well this is good, I got here early. I guess I’ll browse through the local marts and stop by a café, since I left without breakfast.” After a few hours it started getting darker,”Ok time to complete my objective.” As I make my way over to the Devon Corporation, I notice that the ventilation goes in through the third story, “Ok, I could get up there but not without being noticed. Maybe there’s another way in, on a lower level.” As, I walk around the building I’m confronted by a Zigzagoon, “Here I go.” A battle soon follows.

"Great", I say," my first battle since joining Aqua."

Me: Alright, come on out Kipper
Kipper: kiiippp

K: *Water gun*
Z: 37-12=25hp

Me: Good work Kipper, now raise defense it’s attacking.

Z: *Tackle*
K: 45-6=39hp

Me: Great, keep going Kipper

K: *Mud slap*
Z: 25-9=16hp

Me: Excellent

Z: *Tackle*
K: 39-10=29hp

Me: Good defense

K: *Mud slap*
Z: 16-10=6hp

Me: Good work Kipper. *throws a pokeball at the Zigzagoon*
*Zigzagoon is caught*

“Uh, oh I think someone heard the battle.” I run around the corner of the building just as a beam of light, hits were I was. “Whew, that was a close one”, I whisper to myself. As I start walking around the building, looking for a way in. I look up and see a window on the second floor. “Ok, here I go”, I say as I spread my wings and flap them one good time for a boosted jump. “Good, I’m glad that worked.” I look around to make sure that no one saw me, as I retract my wings and step through the window.

“Ok, now where are the stairs, because the elevator will make to much noise.” I quietly walk around corners and sneak past hallways. After a few minutes of searching, I find what I’m looking for, stairs, unfortunately there’s a guard sleeping there and I don’t want to be the one to wake him. So, as to not cause a confrontation I look for another way and spot a ventilation duct. I slowly make my way over to it and see that the screen is screwed on tight. At first I look around to see if there was another way and then I remember my knife, so I slowly open it and start cutting around the seams of the screen. I’m glad I remembered my knife or else I might not have been able to do this, I think to myself.

Alright, I know that it goes to the third floor, but what I don’t know is if there are ducts on the inside of the third floor, but I’ve got to find out. As I move slowly through the shaft I come to a drop off point, and hesitate for a brief moment and then start creeping up the side of the shaft. I finally make to the third floor, after what seems like hours and start looking for a way out of the shaft and back into the building. I find my exit halfway down the shaft, and slowly cut through the screen. “Ok, looks like the coast is clear, but where is the storage room”, I ask myself as I look around corners and walk down hallways.

Halfway down the third hallway I find the storage room and enter without hesitation and before I let the door close I find a small box and use it to keep the door from completely closing. As I look for the box with the Pokenavs I find another ventilation duct and decide that it will be my way out of here, soon after I find the box of pokenavs and set it by the vent while I cut through the screen. I then push the box in and start my escape.

I soon find out that this shaft leads to the outside, as I smell the fresh air coming in. As I make my way through the vent shaft, I think about how I’ll get down and decide on gliding down. All of a sudden I come to a stop and see that I’m at the exit point and reach forward, past the box, to cut the screen. After which I push the box out of the vent, and refusing to drop it I fall out as well. Quickly spreading my wings I fail to glide down but I do soften the landing. As I get up I hear an alarm start blaring and quickly tie the box to my bike and ride off into the night.

“Wow that was a close one, I almost didn’t make it. I definitely had a few close ones before, but never like that. I’d say, for a first time, I did pretty well. They should be glad to have me as a member, I know I’m glad to be a member”, I say as I ride back to base, enjoying the cold, night air rushing by me. I laugh as I think of how the guards try to figure out how, even though they were there, anyone could have passed by them unnoticed.

Maddy runs in, jumping up and down excitedly with Pichu holding onto her shoulder for dear sweet life. "PICHU CAN EVOLVE NOW!!! CAN I EVOLVE HER?!"

*walks in and sits on couch*
Krait: If you want to evolve, evolve. Then again I'm not in charge.
*teleports to fridge, grabs a root beer, teleports back to couch, sits down and drinks his root beer*

Krait: Yeah, I'm new here.
*stands up, stretches wings, and retracts them while talking to Maddy*
Krait: How long have you been here?

"Hmmm..." She thinks for a bit. "I'm not really sure... At least a year... But I was put in a coma for a couple months so I missed out on a lot of that..."

*A note appears on the mission report*

Not too shabby for a new member's first mission. I noticed you only snuck past one guard (possibly two if you count the one that almost caught you outside), even though the brief said there are 10 guards. However, it doesn't actually say you have to sneak past all of them.

I do take issue with your battle. Since you opted for the more realistic HP approach, you need to pay careful attention to how the game works. Water Gun is twice as strong as Mud Slap, and Kipper (a Mudkip, right?) is a pure Water-type. If Water Gun does 12 damage, Mud Slap should do 3-5. Also, I generally find this style of battling to be rather dull, even though there's technically nothing wrong with it.

Of course, everything boils down to pass or fail. So here it is:
PASS.

Please consider what I've said as constructive criticism and always strive to improve. cool
