Bakura's bottom lip quivered a little. "No. Everyone is dead. I don't know why." Tears filled his eyes again and he looked away. He slowly pulled the knife out of his sleeve. "I think it's your fault. You must have something to do with this." His pupils had shrunk down to the size of pinpricks, which had been a bad thing when he was an adult. It was frightening on him as a child.

"No bakra..I dident have anything to do with this...I wouldent want to do this to you." Not noticing the knife yet she reached out to hug him "Its going to be ok bakura..."

Bakura flinched slightly, turning away. No. He couldn't back down now. "Lies. All you're doing is spewing out lies." He hissed, shuffling closer to her. The knife clenched in his hand quickly found its was up, and he held the blade against her throat. It dug deeply, instantly drawing blood. He wasn't very strong, being only a child, but his rage made him desperate. "You deserve to die. Why... why did everyone else have to go? Why not me?! Why not you?"

Rei gritted her teath and the blood ran down her neck "Bakura.....I truly dont know...But killing me wont bring them back..."

"It won't... but it--" His grip loosened slightly, and he trembled. He was trying so hard to remain in control of the situation. "You should have let me die. How can I continue to live when everyone else is... is..." Tears flooded Bakura's eyes once more. His fingers slipped away from the handle of the knife and he backed off of Rei, trying to wipe away his tears as they fell. "It isn't fair." He finally sobbed, covering his face with his hands. "It just isn't fair."

Ignoring the blood that was running down neck she set both femi and kek on a pillow and reached out taking bakura in her arms and holding him close. "It isent fair bakura..But you do have to live...they would want you to...." rei said.

Bakura relaxed and let himself be held by Rei for a little bit. His eyes snapped open and widened, and one hand flew out blindly. He grabbed the knife and slashed it wildly, across Rei's chest. "No! Let go of me! GET AWAY!" It wasn't as deep as her back, but it did draw blood. He shoved Rei away, bolting from her. He stumbled upon his own feet and fell heavily to the ground, where he decided to stay.

Rei grasped her chest. Soon tears started rolling down her cheaks "Bakura......Im sorry...I don't know what else to say....It's ok If you hate me...." she said looking down.

Bakura pushed himself up, one shaking hand pressed against his stomach. When he fell, he had fallen against his knife. Luckily it had avoided major organs. He looked up at Rei, baring his teeth and growling in an animal-like manner. He was clearly trying to be tough to hide his pain.

Seeing this rei istintly ignored any pain she was in. she grabed bakura by the arm and pulled him over. Ripping appart a pillow she removed the knife and then started to wrap the wound "Stay still bakura..."

Bakura cringed as he was moved, and shut his eyes tightly. He was being stupid, he knew it. "What gold?" He asked, his voice thick with pain. "A soldier... said the villagers would turn... into gold."

"I Dont know bakura.." she said as she finished wrapping his wound. She did but she couldent tell him. How would she exsplain how she knew?

"I thought it was for punishment... for breaking into tombs." Bakura murmured. He had calmed down quickly from his previous rage, which was something that happened a lot as an adult.

Once she finished wraping she gently pulled him into her lap and started gently rocking him. She had forgot a while ago that she was nude. It wasent bothering her.

Bakura was saying something softly as he slipped into unconsciousness, his body going limp in Rei's arms.
