Rugen looked out a near-by window and noticed something rather peculiar. A bird, belonging to a shinobi by the looks of him, perched on one of the light posts outside of the academe. He quickly noticed an attached letter to the birds leg, and rushed out to retrieve it. It simply read " Report to the town square to meet you're new squad and discuss a mission. " Not wasting a moment, Rugen checked the book that he had been reading out of the library and rushed off the meet up with his new team.

~ Exit Rugen ~

(( So should I just wait? I mean you kinda just took the letter.... ))

Mizuiro took the scroll from the teacher without an explanation on what to exactly do. But he really wanted to learn this technique. So he opened the scroll and did the hand seals required, did some chakra molding and thought about what he looked like. All that happened was that this blob of blue appeared. But at least something happened. That is what he would of thought if he wasn't a ******** 10 vs 5+4 = 9. Fail.

Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)
This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. These illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent.
Cp cost: 1 pt. per clone.
Dice Rolls: 1 Roll
Damage: N/A
Requirements: Learn in the academy.
Training: 1 stage
Stage I: Chakra Control DC 10 Use your chakra to create a model of yourself. Pay special attention to details so that your clone and yourself will be hard to distinguish apart.
Special: Can create 1 per 5 ranks in Chakra Control. The user numbers each of their clones individually. The attacker does a random number check to see what they hit.
To See Through Clones: d20 + 1/2 the user's int mod + half the user's chk mod vs. d20 + opponent's int. mod. Opponent will target the real ninja among the clones.

((Enter fromm Main Island: The Village))

Batsu, who was now winded from his jogging adventure, aproached the door to the academy and weakly opened the door. Poor guy, he was fairly weak when it camedown to endurance and stamina. The only thing that kept him going was his wilpower.

Needless to say, Batsu slowly trotted in and just flopped to thhe ground. He was just that tired.

Mizuiro tried again, and he started molding chakra into his hands, and then made the appropriate seal. He thought about what he looked like and then created a clone. It puffed suddenly into creation beside him, It was pale, and a little warped, But it was now starting to look like him! He was pleased, He was getting there. He then dispelled the clone.

Mizuiro stood still for a while realizing he actually made a clone and dispelled it. He realized he had to do it again now.
He did the appropriate seals, concentrated chakra, and poof went a giant blob of nothing. He forgot to think about what he looked like. He wasn't even concentrating properly.

Baatsu, still a bit exhausted from his ordeal, sat up and looked around. Things were fairly quiet for the time being. There were people in the distance doing their own thing, and he didn't wanna intrude. Besides, he was a newbie and didn't want to cause any unnecessary drama.

As Batsu sat, he decided to make matters into his own hands... literally. He started to make handseal. He grew really bored and figured that reading a book he was out of place. There is a library for that after all.

The male straightened his back and sighed before focusing on the task he set out to do. After a short while, he shut himself off from the world around him and began to make the first handseal, Tori.

Batsu looked down with a smile as he thought he succeded. However, the smile turned into a heartbroken frown. His fingers were manipulated into such a way that they were formed into a handseal... a non-existant one.

The boy undid his fingers and gave the Tori handseal another try, hopefully with better results.

Batsu hesitantly looked down at his hands. He was confidant before and was shut down by a botched seal. Contrary to what happened before, he did the handseal correctly. It made him smile and he shouted "Yatta" shortly after. Sure, it was only one correctly-done, but it was correctly done, which meant a lot to him.

Carrying on, Batsu loosened his seal and quickly went on to the next seal. He was on a bit of a hot streak and wanted to keep it going.

As Batsu stared down at his fingers, he rolled his eyes and thought "So much for a streak". After all, his fingers looked very contorted. It look as though his hands were made of rubber. He shrugged it off and chuckled as he untangled his fingers.

"Well, if being a shinobi doesn't go so well, I'd have a job at the freak show" he said jokingly with a smile.

All joking aside, he quickly went back to the second hand sign.

Poor Batsu knew he botched the handseal when his knuckle popped as he jammed his finger. He immediately jumped to his feet and shook the finger that was shoot pain through his body. Of course he had some words to say, some not-so-pretty words. He didn't care who was around to hear it. All he cared about were the handseals and his jammed finger.

After jumping and flailing around, Batsu tried his best to act as if he wasn't the one who was hurt. He was still a bit hurt, but gave the handseal another go.

Quote:
Reppū (Gale)
Using their quickness and agility, the user performs a spinning kick to sweep their opponent off their feet. This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a preeminently destructive, lethal technique. The move here is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.
Cp cost: -----
Dice Rolls: 2
Damage: Taijutsu damage.
Requirements: Style: Gouken, Taijutsu 9 ranks.
Training: 2 stages.
Stage I: Taijutsu DC 19. Practice spinning on one leg while keeping your kicking leg straight.
Stage II: Taijutsu DC 22. Add more speed and power to "Stage I"
Special: Enemy is flat footed after the attack and loses the Dex mod to his Dodge Bonus unless he succeeds a Acrobatics check {DC: half the damage}.

Shinzu walked onto the training field, his copy of "The Power of Youth!!!" in hand. Once he'd reached a training dummy Shinzu opened the book to the page explaining the Reppu Technique. He read it for a moment and began to practice step one. The first time he tried it Shinzu lost his balance from the sudden movement of his leg and fell on his butt.

Falling on the ground didn't deter Shinzu, quite the contrary it got him motivated. He quickly got up to try again, it was to early to give up afterall! Now he that he knew what exactly was going to happen, Shinzu was prepared. Once again his spun arounf rapidly, and this time when he raised his leg he kept his balance performing the move perfectly.

Just seconds after his last spin, just enough time to regain his bearings after the rapid spin, Shinzu prepped him self to do it again. Now he had an even better idea of how to do it. Once again he spun around and brought his leg into the air and once again he remained balanced. Quickly he brought his leg down, his foot kicking up a slight cloud of dust as he did so.

Shinzu was grinning as he stopped, he'd done pretty well so far. He'd only messed up once and had been successful twice now. Once again he prepped himself by breathing in and out slowly and vizualizing what he was about to do. Then without warning he did it just barely opening his eyes before turning. Once again he executed a perfect spin, with his leg out of course.

DC: 19
16 + 10 = 26 Pass

After Shinzu pulled off yet anoth flawless spin he went straight to prepping himself again, not wanting to waist any time. He did his breathing exercise again and vizualized the movement in his mind. Vizualizing the move always helped him greatly when learning techniques. Soon he was done and began to spin. Once again he pulled it off flawlessly, Taijutsu was his main thing after all.
