*Ayla sat in the sand rocking Rain in her arms. Rain was growing alot faster than most children and had already started learning to walk. The beautiful child looked up at her mother and smiled with startlingly green eyes. Ayla smiled back and then squinted, sheilding her eyes from the sun, it seemed suddenly brighter then usual. She was sitting close to the water and the tide was coming in, but she hadn't noticed. Suddenly a enormous wave crashed over them both sending saltwater into Rain's eyes. The once happy baby scrunched up her face and let out a wail. Hot tears streamed down her face and her mother despretly tried to calm her and wipe the salt from her eyes. Ayla looked up when she noticed that it seemed darker out than before. The sun had dimmed and dark clouds rolled across the sky, thundering angryly. Ayla finally managed to quiet her livid child and the almost-storm quieted aswell. It took a moment for the idea to registure, and then another moment for the shock to pass as Ayla looked down at her child in wide-eyed amasement.*

*pauses in her hike and looks up at the sky at the sudden and quick disturbance in the weather, a puzzled and curious expression crossing her face* What the-?........ Hmm....... eek *slaps her forehead* Oh my gosh!!!!! Ayla!!! I almost forgot about her, and her child!!! *wheels and races back through the wilderness, straight through the town and skids to a sliding stop on the beach by their camp* Ayla!! Ayla!! Where are you? Ohh, I was a fool to- Ohhh!!! *spots the two near the water and hurries over to them, checking them both over, using magic to help clear the child's eyes* Ohh.... I am soo sorry I left...... Are you two alright?..... *her eyes filled with ashamed concern and worry*

AlidasDragonriders *pauses in her hike and looks up at the sky at the sudden and quick disturbance in the weather, a puzzled and curious expression crossing her face* What the-?........ AlidasDragonriders *looks at her, knowing something is wrong* Yes? What is it? What is wrong?.... *she looked up at the sky again, and then down again at her now calm child* Alida...*a slow smile spread across her face* ...I think I've dicovered Rain's power...

*looks back and forth between the two and the sky, a smile slowly spreading across her own muzzle as she teases Ayla a bit to lighten the mood* Hmhm.... Great, just what we need..... A child who can pound us down with the weather when she has a tantrum.... mrgreen That is indeed quite interesting though....... An earth nymph with a storm child..... Hmmm....... Who was her father again?... *a thought popping into her head, she pulls the small child onto her furry knee, smiling at her and bouncing her gently as she looks her over, Alida's foxy tail swaying in front of Rain, tempting her to play* Hello, little one..... My name is Alida..... You have the same pretty eyes as your mother......

*Cat was finally forced to pull out the machetes, and hacked her way through the jungle for several hours. Tired, she was ready to make camp, but the funny little god urged her on. She gave a couple last hacks, and the brush fell away. Her eyes widened in shock, and she fell on her rear end with a thump. <> The funny little god sang in her head. *

*Cat looked from the top of a low cliff across a river, to the temple on the other side. Made of black volcanic rock polished smooth, the open airy temple had pillars supporting the whole roof. Two foo dogs guarded the walk to the building. Overgrown gardens grew lush and wild. A small pond lay by the temple, and several fountains still flowed. Pictograms, not unlike what Cat used in ritual, decorated the sides of the building. She fluttered down and began wandering, after setting the little statue of Gautam by the foo dogs. *

*As Cat began to wander, she saw past the impressive front, and began taking mental notes on what had to be done. There was a neglected air once one got past the first look. Vines climbed all over everything, stones in the building were loose, one pillar had fallen over, the roof needed tending to, and the whole place was filthy. Moldy reed mats lay on the floor, And several trees were down. The fountains needed cleaning, and the pond needed to be scooped free of debris. <> Cat nodded absently, and brushed a cobweb down, then went to fetch her axe, to begin cutting up the dead trees. *

What's going on, what did you find? Here, don't resist.... *closes her eyes and strokes the child's hair as she melds her mind into Cat's, seeing what she does*
