One day, I rented the remake of the Clash of the Titans film, and put it on with my laptop open on my lap. I figured, during the less interesting parts I could surf the net, and then see the film's better portions. The entire film was spent online . . . stare
When it was over, my TV kicked back to live TV, and oddly enough onto Dr. Who. I figured "What the hell?" and let it have the same chance. My laptop was ignored for an hour straight. eek Yes, the show is that good for me. It took a while to learn the mythos and aliens, but every bit makes me enjoy it more!!!

That's certainly high praise!
If I get around to it after all the anime I have to watch through, I will surely check it out. I'd like to start at the absolute beginning, so chances are I'll have to find it all online.

I'd personally suggest starting at the 2005 revival. That is as far back as I've seen, and such is just fine. Given the current doctor is the 11th doctor, that would be a metric tonne of backlog to get/watch! eek

My wife and I adore the way the Daleks talk . . . kind of screaming with an upturn in tone at the end, and a halting cadence. Kind of odd, and definitely unique.
I'm going to steal some lines from Doc Who for my character in the Bleach RP I'm in . . . ninja

Oh no, I was booted a long time ago. Now I migrated to a new place that is better maintained and balanced . . . with a complex system to keep power levels in check and realistic.

A misunderstanding turned into an argument, turned into a banning quite fast. A person on the crew stuck his neck out for me to let me back in . . . but I had to lose my character, and 8 months of work in the process, and ultimately the game was not fun.

yes . . . this one bases reiatsu on word count . . . so the more active you are, the more powerful you are. The system is a bit complicated and intimidating, but thus far every question I've asked got a good and fast answer, and my power is not bad at all. You start with 25 reiatsu, get your shikai at 50, and have six stats. When you power one of them up to 50 in a single stat, you are allowed to have your bankai. Then there are classes, levels of power, and almost like experience trees . . . and it is proving fun. 3nodding

Well, we met at the behest of one that keeps evolving. From shimigami to viziard, and then to some form of hollow- not sure what level. The whole megalomaniac scheme . . . he promised me power, and I started just for that. When we had a meeting (which I felt in game was disastrous), this hollow and I agreed on a lot of it. Before I knew what was going on, he was attached to me emotionally, and I went with it.
Then we managed to get some special stones that would act as a catalyst. He swallowed his, and went from hollow to Arrancar. How will it end? Who's to say? In any case, this is fun to play him . . . my lovely Charles. heart
