Aiden tilted his head then looked back at the door. He hadn't even noticed the bell. "Then I should be sorry for startling you like that. I didn't even realize the door had a bell." He smiled a little, standing back up and carefully sitting the pieces down on her table.

It's okay, you don't have to be sorry. Kimiko giggled, shaking her head some as she examined Aiden silently. His uniform and hair interested her, as she'd never seen colors quite like his. Where she came from, everything seemed to be in black and silver. I probably should be more careful with magic in this realm anyways. she admitted, this statement coming a little more hushed than her others.

Aiden blinked at her, thinking he had heard the word magic. Did she know magic? Of course, though, a lot of people in the underground seemed to know some form of magic. He wanted to ask her about it but didn't want to seem rude if she hadn't meant to say it to him. "Well, uh, I'll let you get back to your stacking. Hope you can get back to where you were."

Thank you...Kimiko offered, blushing faintly as she watched the boy still. She noticed his pause at her words, and tilted her head some to him. If you'd like, you can sit with me. I don't bite. she couldn't help but be amused by the phrase, but raised a pale hand in defense. I promise.

Aiden grinned a little. "I'd like that." Though he didn't specify if it were to sit with her or get bitten. But he moved to the counter first and ordered himself a pumpkin-spiced hot chocolate. When it was ready, complete with whipped cream, he moved back to her table and sat down across from her. "My name is Aiden, by the way."

Riyo the Neko Youkai Artemis scratched the back of his head a little and thought for a minute. "It might take awhile to get him.. Um.. Civilized enough.." He said with a cough. "But whenever that happens, I'd love for you to meet him." Artemis said with a smile. "And my week is already better thanks to you.." He whispered and grinned at the little peck, then caught her before she could lean back over to her own chair and kissed her softly on the lips. She laughed. "Ah, okay. Well I can wait. And truth me, the feeling is mutual. Seeing your face just brightened my day." She let off a small squell of surprise, she wasn't expecting him to kiss her. She kissed him back, letting her passion pour into the kiss.

Aiden? My name is Kimiko. she offered, bowing her head to the redheaded boy. She couldn't help but smile brightly as she smelt the aroma from his drink - the same she had ordered. Would you like to play with dominos, too? She asked, offering him a handful of ivory squares.

"Kimiko's a pretty name. Can't say I've met another with it," he said before sipping at the drink. He smiled lazily, the scent and taste sending him back home one a snowing day. Her question brought him back. "Sure." Though he would have liked to practice his levitating spell, he decided to try the old fashion way by stacking them carefully.

Thank you! Kimiko giggled, blushing as she nodded to Aiden. I have a brother with your name, though...With all the variations, it may be spelt different. She pressed her lips together as she moved her eyes away from him, making it appear as though she were concentrating on stacking the dominoes end to end, but really she watched him a moment to see if he was really going to try it without any sort of magic. She set one on the table and placed her fingertip to hold it in place a moment while she added another, placing her fingertip atop that one a moment before pulling it away, a faint purple glow reflecting off the ivory a moment before the two she'd placed first stayed perfectly still and she added a third. Are you from the Underground, Aiden? she asked, keeping her eyes on the dominoes now rather than watching him try to stack them.

"Really? I haven't met anyone with my name...but I know it's not all that uncommon either." For a moment, he had thought he had seen one of her pieces glow for a moment but he blinked and it was gone. His own stack became unsteady and toppled over, Aiden wanting to reach for his wand. "Hm? Nah, I'm from another place far from here." His accent was slight, a bit Brittish and a bit Irish yet neither overpowered the other. "How about you?"

Kimiko bit her lip at his turn to ask the question, but should have expected it. I'm most definitely not from around here. she giggled after a moment, moving to add fourth and fifth pieces to her stack now, carefully as to not disturb the charm she'd settled over the pieces. Is that a uniform from where you live? she asked, curious as she recalled Kalan to have one similar, but in different colors.

Aiden frowned at the pieces as he tried stacking them again, determined to do it alone. When she mentioned his uniform, Aiden looked down at himself, having forgotten that he was still wearing it. "Eh...sorta. My sister and I go to a special sort of school and it's a bit of a ways from home...well, from anything for that matter."

Is it like a boarding school? Kimiko asked, glancing to the dominos she'd given Aiden and casting the same charm over them to help him along with the stacking fun. My father almost sent me to a boarding school, but I think that was more of a joke. He doesn't do jokes very well. she giggled, shaking her head as she added another rectangle to her stack.

Arashi walked into the Coffeehouse and ordered herself a berry blended frappucino. She walked over and took a seat at a table, beginning to eat the whipped cream off of the top of it.
