"Lead the way," HM said to the captain of the guard, as the man followed instructions and took the staircase down.
"Take note apprentice, it is best to know the surrounding area. You'll be training here often." HM noted.
Ferno followed down, and stepped onboard a small transport designed for several passengers. HM nodded, and stood away.
"I'll reactivate in the base when you're there, Master," he said, before marching away. Ferno did not seem to care, and neither did the captain. Asthe transport traversed the planet, Ferno fidgeted until a hillside appeared.
Several minutes later, the transport stopped in front of a bunker-like structure, opening upon recieving proper clearance. Inside the door, HM stood, fully ready, and unarmed.
"Greetings master, and apprentice, welcome to the Spectre's Nest and Fortress, where nightmares become reality..."

"Yes, sir. Lead the way, Colonel," Gunther agreed.
Meanwhile, Freya then patted down the late guard, being sure to loot him for anything of value. Like, mega-check! Extra power pack for this neat new toy, she thought, experimentally hefting the E-54 that was on the late guard. She also attached a dagger to her boot, with a handy strap.
Freya then waltzed outside of the cell, leveling her new blaster, firing away at the first goons she'd seen. A Klaatu and a Rodian fell where they stood.
"You killed mah brutha!" another human grunted, leveling his blaster at Freya.
"Stun her, or Lynch will have your head," a twi'lek hissed. With that, the goon switched the power on his blaster.
Freya took the opportunity to grab another E-54 from one of the fallen gaurds, her gestures feeling out the weight and feel of the blasters. Mega-nice! she thought, dual wielding the two weapons.
"Like, come and get it!" Freya called out to the goons, laying down a hellish path of red bolts. Several guards fell where they stood, clutching their vitals as they fell.
Another group then converged upon her, firing a volley of stun blasts. Freya then fired upon them, taking a couple more out. And then, her world went black once more, as a wave of blue energy overcame her.

Jaden stood there, behind the droid, his master ahead of the droid and faced the dark loomy area. jaden knew he would eventually regret this but asked saying, "So what's so bad about this, i'm sure its no Malachor V," he said.

"Malachor V is just a memory, destroyed ages ago, millenia even. Malachor only was a nexus of the dark side, useless. This place isn't so bad as the nickname implies. Just something coined by the unprepared." THe droid said, leading his way to a lift.
The spectre made his way into the lift, and felt the platform drop. Ten stories down, the lift did stop. Opening up, cooridoors leading everwhere. Ferno went straight, as his normal way usually carried, past glass labs and clinics. Through a pair of doubledoors, a catwalk stood above a grand floor of imperial scientists, as Ferno traveled down a thin staircase at the end of the walk, going into another hall, at which the end a door requiring clearance.
Ferno was not in the mood for delay, completing the circuit before the captain could pull his card out. Ferno led the way into a darker room, tubes containing what appeared to be disfigured humans.
"Experiments from past symbiotic attempts. Note the failure." HM commented, leading the way through the first room into the next. "Originally we required the use of the licker's genetic adatpation to create a working symbiote. Once we had it able to bond with the host, we could create necessary components for the next wave of shock troopers. Currently, they are still in development. This is where you'll come in handy."

Jadens eyes widened as he faced the droid, "What? You mean I am the next expeirement!?," he said. His face became pale with fear, was he going to end up like thos humans? Or was he going to die a terrible death.

"Why would we give you imperfect technology? Nah, we're going to teach these first five combat. Well, we're teaching you combat, if they manage to kill you, then they're better than projected... or worse." HM noted. "You need to learn logic. Fear is not the way of the sith. A true sith holds no fear, because fear is his ally, much like how the jedi use the force. And since the master is known to be better than Maladi at torture, perhaps a little bit of immunity may rub off..."

He nodded, "Yes, you are right," he said. "I shall fight any man that you bring to me, and this time I will do it, using my head," he said.

"Instinct and thought must go hand in hand. You must be able to feel a trap, and understand where it is. Then you can spring it, and take the bait without the consequences." HM noted, before leading the way into the next room.
To the right, a cage with closed armored curtains stood, and the droid lead on. To the left, there were several glass prisons with progressive stages of people. Some were relatively normal, but the further down the group went, the worse each looked. Brown Pustules appeared over the skin and the hair fell out.
"We're integrating the sullustian plague into our subjects. The warmer the planet, the faster the effects. Now look at the last cage." HM stated, pointing at the last one.
A human male, bald yet muscular, stood up. His neck was stretched with brown marks, as the eyes were heavily bloodshot. HM rotated his hand, as the creature turned around. A small, armored creature was on the small of the back, arteries popping aroudn it.
"Orbalisks are armored creatures often used as armor by sith that chew on their host. They are lightsaber resilient. Too effective to be an internal parasite until we make them smaller and less likely to feast. Eventually, we hope to create a variant that is internally connected, making them much harder to hit, but right now, they have to be external. These creatures really are creatures. Sith Alchemy has produced the first warriors. They have no bones; not anymore. Instead, they have a reconstituting plasma which solidifies to provide support instead. Break their bones, they'll just pop them back. Stamina? Endless. Best part, they have skinn like a Hutt; Blaster resistant. Put it in a suit of armor, and you'll have a soldier that takes a full clip of rifle rounds to put down. You wanted to not be tested, or learn from a droid. So here's your chance of your first mission. Field test these creatures. Without your lightsaber."

"Okay, so how many are there?" the captain of the Mandalorian heavy freighter asked his superior officer.
"Thirty-thousand," the colonel replied. "A legion and a half, fully armed, with three months provisions coming with them; 80% infantry."
"And the rest?" he asked, taking note to his datapad, as the two ships hovered over Mandalia space.
"A dozen Vipers, the same bombers, and a few squads of support craft, and a single canderous tank. Plenty for an occupation of a seemingly primitive world."
"I should hope," the captain of the Stark replied. "So far, the locals have responded well to our protocol droids and recon units. Their...erm, tribal leaders have allowed a few squads down into their cities to help ease the transition."
"So they are adapting well. Rumors were true after all..."
"Well, sir, it's probably because of the droids and weapons that they're so fascinated with us. It's like those ewok-things on Tendor, or whatever the hell it's called, or the Kyterackians on Pleedar V. Only difference is, these aliens actually speak an understandable language, nd they're armed considerably better than spears and rocks..."
~
Planet-side, the inhabitants of Mandalia were a peculiar race. Not in how they differed, but because they were so similar, yet showed no signs of ever encountering any other known sentients... ever. The 'mandalians', or thespas, as they were called, resembled the mynerishi of Wayland, except being as big as wookies, and with smooth faces, like the Draethos and a single pair of slit-like eyes. Technology-wise, the species weren't much different than other non-sentients, except that they had a technical 'empire' on their planet.
The tribal leaders, who ruled on a council, claimed to rule over a population of twenty million thespas, spread over dozens of cities in three continents, countless islands, and seven-thousand square kilometers. There were also several species of local animalia, domesticated and otherwise, who catered to them.
So far, a month after they discovered the system, the Loyalists had control of all of the minor planets and moons without sentient life, or life at all. There were two 'bases' within the system now, one of which also hosted a mine, now working at full-pace to get resources to the Mandal system. The only planet with sentients was Mandalia, or Thespaspa, as they were now asked to call it. Otherwise, everything was good here....
Inexhaustable clones, a system of untapped resources, and now a new hyperroute...

Ebony twittered. "No, we're going to stay on the ship," Vera answered her, "we need to keep an eye on things." She turned to Iria, freezing for a moment and forgetting what she intended to say. Then she realized why she'd forgotten it. She blinked, and tried to keep her tone neutral. "Iria... would you please mann the turret in the rear of the ship?"

"I shall do that, Lady Vera," Iria smiled and bowed to her, before promptly going into said turret. "All systems are green light," the girl declared.

"Well, what do you propose we do now, Mandalore the Crusader?" Elshae'k asked his new ally after the two agreed to meet abourd the Conquerer.
"You were planning to attack Garos IV?" The armored warrior the blue-skinned humanoid.
"We were," he answered. "Reports were steadilly increasing on their withdrawal from the system. Their defenses there were broken, and ill-maintained due to our raiding. It was a prime oppurtunity."
"For failure."
"Failure?"
"Do you not see the obvious trap?" Mandalore asked. "Yes, you were winning against the Garos Task Force, and goodness knows your Bothan adversary was near depression, but you're still surrounded by most of two sector fleets. You're still out-gunned 3:1, and you have almost no army at all."
"I have the Mandal-system clone facility. Then again it's in Mandal, and quite far from where we are."
"Brilliant answer. You have the resources to take Garos, yes, but not to keep it from retalliation. It's just like that move you pulled over Junction."
The chiss frowned. "Not one of my better strategems, but it wasn't a complete failure..."
"No, it wasn't. Garos, however, would be your failure. A strategic move there would require your presence, and they'd be waiting for you to move there. The sith would have you surrounded in minutes."
The commander closed his eyes, taking the information in, before he answered. "So what move would you suggest we make then?"
"Secure allies," he replied. "Find sources from elsewhere. You have the Dathomiri, Noghri, and Mandalorians. Seek out the Bothans, the Mon Cal, the Wookiees, the Hutts if you must. Any help is better than none, especially when you're fighting these sith."

"Good luck Acharas," Aurora said over the comms. One of the wookies fired the starboard gun turret and hit the one of the gun turrets of Lynch's ship.

Concord Dawn "Ree! Hurry! The last transport is taking off-" Akey's words were cut off by the blaster bolt that nailed her side. She hit the ground hard. "NO!" Ree let off a few shot, hitting the shooter square in the face. He made his way to her side, lifting her up slowly. "No... fierfek! No..." "Ree... its ok... Your doing good again... just, please keep doing good... You protected me like I was your sister... you were my family... Just... help your people now..." She had a small smile, and then her face was full of pain as she closed her eyes. Ree picked her up, and rushed onto the Q-Carrier, as it started to launch. He moved her to a bunk as a medic ran over quickly. Now, everything felt unreal. Everything moved slowly and there was no noise. The medic and his helper opening up her shirt to treat the wound. Pumping air into her lungs. Pushing on her chest to get her heart to start again. Then standing and saying something while shaking his head. Ree dropped to the floor. The ship rumbled as it began to break the orbit. The sound of the engines woke him from his daze. Now everything was loud. The engines roaring. People crying in pain and sadness. He felt a hand touch his shoulder. It was the older warrior, Hier. "I'm sorry..." Ree stood slowly. "She was like my little sister... I told her was I was younger, I would always protect her... now..." "She helped us and you. Its what she would have wanted... right?" Ree's tears were unseen from under his helmet. He stood there for a bit, looking at the space outside, then he finally turned to Hier. "This Civil War must end... Our people are one of strength and power, not this..."
