Dark's stomach growls as well as he follows Maddy.
"Well there's a chip stand nearby. We could stop for a bite." Dark scratches his belly. "I could go for a General Tao poutine right now."

"Chip stand... So much grease. I'll have to work hard to burn all the fat from it." Maddy said with a shrug. "Oh well, lead the way, Dark."
With all the Pepsi she drank, she couldn't really say much about the health of food she ate. But at least she worked hard to keep her figure in good form.

Dark leads them to the chip stand and gets himself some food. He gets a normal poutine since they don't have any chicken.
"Mmmm I love chip stand fries~" Dark quips as he eats fries with the little red fork.

Troyt walked behind Dark and Maddy, he'd actually eaten before they left, he wasn't hungry at all. In fact, both he and Elys had eaten before they left, but of course Elys was hungry again. That little bear could put away food like nobody's business. It was pretty crazy. He sighed and followed them to the chip stand, wondering if there would even be food for Pokemon. Elys on the other hand, would probably beg for the human food from the get go. and as though he'd read her mind, there she was at Dark's feet drooling and ogling at his food.

Maddy just ordered herself some fries and ketchup on a small paper plate.
"It's not too bad."
She looked down at Allen's Cubchoo as she eyed Dark's food.
She ordered a small bowl of Pokemon food for her and handed it to her.
"I'd give you some fries, but honestly, even humans shouldn't be eating this kinda stuff." She told the little Pokemon.

Dark hands the Cubchoo a large fry covered in gravy and melted cheese, even though Maddy ordered her some food.
"Careful it's bit hot." He smiles. "I dunno how PokeFood tastes, but I bet that tastes better."

When she was handed the Pokemon food she began stuffing her face, and then when Dark handed her the fry she looked at it like he was handing her the holy grail and it was filled with poutine. She stared at the human food for a moment before scarfing it down, barely even tasting it. "Coobuuuuooo~" She twirled in place, it tasted amazing. Troyt watched the Cubchoo in amsement, his stomach gave a short little grumble. It was because he was watching all the others eat. Elys grabbed her little Styrofoam bowl and walked it over to Troyt to share some of it after noticing his stare. "Cubuu!!" She took a piece and handed it to him. he graciously accepted and took a few bites to stave off the hunger.
"Cubbachoo!!" Elys hopped around energetically after finishing her food and ran over to Maddy to hug her leg in thanks then Dark's for the wonderfully wonderful taste of the human food. Perhaps she would share some food with him some other time.

Maddy threw away their garbage.
"Let's continue on."
She lead them out of town and down the path to Mt.Pyre. The lake surrounding the mountain today was very calm.
"Oooooh. Maybe I'll go swimming here after we're done. It's supposed to be a warm night anyways."
She plucked Fletchinder's Pokeball off her belt and released the bird Pokemon.
"Everyone got a way across the lake?" She asked, turning to her companions.

Dark sends out his Kirlia.
"Misery, for your training, I want you to float me across this lake with psychic powers."
She sighs and gives him a 'are you for real?' look.

Maddy and Fletchinder took off across the lake, where they landed before the entrance to Mt.Pyre. The sun was just finishing setting and the mountain looked quite eerie.
"I hope we won't be disturbing them by visiting again so soon."

Misery hops onto Dark's head and begins pirouetting. He eyes glow, and then Dark does. He lifts off the ground and begins floating over the lake. Right before making it to Mt. Pyre Misery hops off of Dark's head and sends him into the lake. Dark then climbs out and she laughs at him before recalling herself.
"Geez, she's turning into a little rebel.." He grumbles, now soaking wet.

Maddy couldn't help but laugh as she watched Dark fall into the lake.
"Well, if she's always doing stuff like that to you I wouldn't mind you leaving her out of her Pokeball more often." She told him.
She continued on into the mountain and to the path that led out around the side. It was a fairly clear night, but as the moon rose higher into the sky it cast their surroundings into a weird white light.
"Hmm. Spooky."

"Super creepy." Dark says, watching the mountain turn dark as the moon moves behind it.
"I'm glad the only ghosts that exist are Pokemon." He chuckles. "I've also got a super tough dark type and a psychic fairy so I'm good~" He brags. He was proud of his Pokemon.

"My Pokemon are pretty good too, ya know."
Maddy tucked her hands in her pocket as the temperature got colder as they went up the mountainside. No wild Pokemon seemed to be stirring right now.
Soon enough, they reached the top of mountain. The elderly couple's log cabin wasn't far off. Maddy remembered the last time they had come here. There had been a snow storm blowing.
