[Cory .:. Hawaii]
The rogue crossed his arms as the others in the group began showing up in Hawaii as well. He wasn't sure why he was following them around, nor was he certain if he should leave them as they were. The ronin removed an Elixir that he had grabbed from the Jolly Roger from his pocket and drank the concoction. He'd still not recovered from his continuous fighting from one side of the volcano to the other, and now seemed like a perfect time with everything ominously quiet.
I feel like we're in the eye of the hurricane...
Darkness was thick on the air, as though the entire group were surrounded by Heartless. Cory looked back and forth, scanning the area to make sure they would not come under a surprise attack. As the word "friend" was spoken, Cory seemed to instantly know who it was. The rogue looked over his shoulder at Bobbi and Stitch, grinning a bit. At least 626 is here. That little monster should come in handy if we were attacked.

[The Black Pearl ~ Crow's Nest]
Noelle scooted over to give Jacob more room and gave his shoulder a light punch. "Yeah, I get it, I'm the same way. Get angry, go for a run, feel upset, do a bunch of sit ups. It's better than anything else, really . . ."
Sitting up and getting to her knees, Noelle looked over the edge of the crow's nest. The crew was going about their business ensuring the good function of the ship, but none of the other earthlings were up on deck. She wanted to know how everyone else was doing. It was a little selfish of her to just leave, and she felt bad. She needed to go and check up on everyone.
"Hey, I'm going to go make sure everyone is okay." The agromancer said, beginning to climb over the wall of the crow's nest carefully, "You should come down, it's kind of hard to hear people from the deck up here. I wouldn't want to hit Shipwreak Cove and have you get left behind."
With that, Noelle left, climbing back down to the deck and heading back down to the lower portions of the ship.

[Dawn : Black Pearl : Cargo Hold]
Dawn must of been really out of it for she didn't even hear or notice that Anthony had returned to the cargo hold, until he came up in front of her and spoke to her. She simply stared up blankly at him. Her mind not registering what he was saying. Dawn didn't seem to respond until Anthony sat down across from her.
"I don't know," she whispered as she wrapped her hands around her legs and looked down at Anthony's feet with her chin on her knees, "I am worried, scared, confused, lonely... and tired of being helpless from protecting those around me."
She closed her eyes as she felt another small tear escape her eye and go down her cheek.

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Pearl's Lower Decks ]
Kyle jolted at Quistis' touch, startled that anyone else was even around, turning his head quickly to glance at her. His eyes were somewhat wide with his brows furrowed. Before he responded, he turned back to the cell, back to his hand that had been grasping at Dawn's. Only... Dawn wasn't there. No one was there- the cell was empty.
"I, uh, no, it's nothing, really," he responded, turning to face her again and immediately putting on his contagious grin, chuckling, as if amused by some sort of joke. And then the smile fractured a bit. What point was there in hiding when he'd already been found out?
"I'm... I'm not like him," he said, looking down and away from her gaze, obviously not wanting to make too much eye contact at the moment- who would want to stare into Ajora's eyes? "I mean, I guess I... but..."
He sighed frustratedly, a low growl caught within it. "I'm sorry. You got caught up in our mess and I don't even think we've been properly introduced. I'm Kyle," he began, holding out his hand to shake, putting on a reassuring (yet weary- he didn't bother hiding it this time) smile. "And you are?"

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Captain's Quarters ]
Ajora smiled as he listened to Laan, ignoring Nith and Elleon for the most part as he did so. For the briefest of moments during Laan's response, Ajora's pupils seemed to fully dilate, only to return go their normal size a few moments later; in the darkness, such a difference in size was almost impossible to spot. Before he could respond, Elleon quipped about business, only causing Ajora to chuckle.
"Take a break? And do what, waste what precious little time I have in this world?" he responded with an amused scoff. "I'll take a break when I know my existence isn't in danger, and considering I hang around people like myself, that probably won't be any time soon."
"Now, Laan- I rather like your proposal. Blunt, objective, to the point- why can't women be like that?" he joked, laughing sincerely as he did so. "Well, welcome aboard! Pity about Zalera, but there's not much I can do about that. You just missed a nice party with the good guys- possessed their little friend James and destroyed one of Joseph's eyes! Fun times all around."

[Anthony ~.~ The Black Pearl ~.~ Cargo Hold]
"Oh...," was all Anthony was able to mutter as his gaze fell to the wooden floor they sat upon. He was never good at encouraging others, and whenever it was forced he just felt it made the situation worse. He placed the lantern to the side between the two, then linked his hands together and rested them on his crossed legs.
"I'm assuming you're talking about James," he continued after a brief silence. "You know that wasn't your fault, right? We were all powerless. The most any of us could've done is yell and scream, kick and shake the prison bars, and occasional throw their shoe..." He said the last part with a smile and a chuckle, referring to the time Dawn had thrown her shoe at Ajora.
"I mean, I understand that you feel worried and scared and even confused, we're all probably feeling that right now, but lonely? How could you possibly feel so lonely on a ship full of people who care for you and your wellbeing?" Anthony paused for a moment, staring at Dawn with an expression of redundancy, feeling he didn't even need to mention the last part. "We're a team, Dawn--a single unit. Think about us as a body. We're all parts of a body--hands, feet, legs, arms, torso, head... One part can't say to the other that it isn't needed, nor is one part less significant than the other. We work together. And when one part of the body suffers, so does the other." Even though what the man said was a biblical reference, it still applied to their situation.
"Right now the body is hurting, because you're suffering... because Joe is suffering... because Jenny is suffering... because we're all suffering. Losing James didn't just effect you--though it probably did more than the rest of us given how close you two are--but it effected all of us. And until we get him back, we'll continue to suffer because one part of the body is missing." Anthony paused again to catch his breath, forgetting to breathe again since he felt he was a roll. "And rest assure, we will get James back. It's not a matter of 'if' or 'we might,' but when... You've seen the movies. The heroes always win. Trust me, I was a film major before all this. I know movies," he reassured, chuckling at the end. "Though ironically, there are a lot of films I haven't seen or even heard about..." He rolled his eyes up to the right, his lips puckered and to the side, as he pondered about the past, then shook his head and continued to speak. "Anyway... But for now, we have an injured body to attend to and comfort. Once we're back to near 100-percent, then we'll talk strategy and figure out our next move and how to save James."
Anthony took a deep breath and released it, feeling he just talked the poor girl's ear off. "Woah, sorry... I didn't mean to talk so much. When I speak, I tend to just babble on and give plenty of details so that the person I'm speaking to would better understand what I'm trying to say."

[Quistis :: Black Pearl :: Lower Deck]
Quistis furrowed her brow at the young man talking to himself about how he 'wasn't like him'. She wasn't sure of what to say, because he was indeed like the man who had held them prisoner. They were practically twins, a perfect replica of one another. Except the personalities, the Blue Mage noted to herself as she gave him a small pat on the shoulder. It wasn't much to deal with the whole ordeal, but it was all she could really offer him.
When he introduced himself and offered her a hand, she grasped it gently and gave a small, yet firm shake. "I am Quistis Trepe. I'm not sure of what advice I can give you since I've never been in your position before, but I am willing to listen to what you have to say. It works with my students, I'm quite sure it will work with you."

[Dawn : Black Pearl : Cargo Hold] [Cue : Music]Dawn looked up at Anthony, tears still in her eyes as she listened to him. Her mind focused on his words as best she could. She could see James telling her something along the lines. She felt her lips curve into a brief smile as Anthony mentioned her shoe throwing at Ajora. She had to admit that was not her smartest move. If she didn't do that, her hand wouldn't be hurting right now. 'Maybe I am being selfish right now. For being like this right now. I suppose he is right, though.'~'Finally, someone who can talk some sense into you. Which you also got to consider something else. What would James do if he saw you like this?'~Dawn closed her eyes as she thought about both Anthony's and Garuda's comments. She shook her head as she soon leaned in and wrapped her arms around Anthony in a hug. Though her tears were still going down her face, she still felt glad that she wasn't alone.

[Jenny :: Black Pearl :: Sleeping Quarters]
[[Cue: Misunderstood Heart]]
Jenny bit down on her lip as Louis addressed her; she opened her mouth to speak but instead glanced around the room. Kyle and Anthony were there too but both dismissed themselves and Jenny almost flinched as Anthony walked past.
Look, they do hate me. I just practically evacuated the room.... biggrin on't be ridiculous. Anthony said he was going to look for supplies.:.It's just an excuse. And Kyle didn't say anything at all..:You're thinking too much into this...:.Jenny looked torn as she brought her gaze back to Louis and Joe as she tried to summon a smile. Music was once again flowing through her mind; piercing into her heart but for once she couldn't feel bothered by its presence. Where she would have loved to hear the melodies while on the Dutchman; the songs now made her cringe in unspoken pain.
The musician slowly made her way over to where Louis was tending to Joe and twisted at the hem of her dress. "I... guess, I'm just checking up on him? I mean, I would like..." her voice faltered as she looked over to Joe, an eyepatch now hiding from view the scars that Alice left behind. Jenny stopped trying to formulate a coherent sentence and kneeled down next to Joe. Her hand reached out to touch his face; though she stopped herself short. A sorrowful melody emanated throughout the room as a luminescent blue clock whirred into existence above Joe's eye.
Please... take this away, as if none of it happened... please.
The hands of the clock moved backwards as if listening to her pleas, but as they continued Jenny felt hope slowly die away from her. At last, when the glyph died away Jenny dropped her hand to the floor, defeated, knowing that nothing had changed.
"I'm sorry," she murmured, trying to fight the tears that sprung up with her failure.

[Anthony ~.~ The Black Pearl ~.~ Cargo Hold]
For a moment, Anthony's body froze and tensed as Dawn wrapped her arms around him, taken back by her unanticipated embrace. Regardless of how hard he tried to fight it, his cheeks quickly flushed as he darted his eyes left to right, a sense of embarrassment filling his chest.
"Oh my gosh...," the boy thought, the voice in his head sounding rather panicked. His eyes now fell upon Dawn. "What do I do?"
Eventually, he hesitantly lifted his arms and returned the embrace, resting his chin upon her head. "It'll all work out for the best in the end," he said softly. "You'll see." Anthony held her tightly for a moment in silence as she continued to cry, allowing her tears to drench his clothes.
However, the silence did not last long as it was abruptly interrupted by the might roaring of his stomach. Gurgle gargle nargghhh ruhhhh blurrrg...! Anthony pulled away from Dawn, waving away whatever strands of her hair were caught in his beard, and chuckled nervously as he rubbed his tummy. "Uh... it appears my stomach is quite angry at me for skipping lunch," he said, feeling rather embarrassed. "Do you think we'd find any food in these crates?"

[Joe: Black Pearl: Sleeping Quarters]
The male rolled his eye towards Jenny as she called his name, the male having bitten down on the rag and then taking it from Louis to squeeze out what he could and not feel jipped. "Poisoned, not invalid." Yeah, he was starting to feel better, but stayed laying down. He wasn't that stupid.
When Jenny came to him, he could feel that magic on his eye, and also felt it do nothing but heal the scar a bit more. It now looked like an actual scar, one that had been there for a while, versus the pink, raw mess it had been before.
Grabbing Jenny's hand, the held it against his face, nuzzling it. "Trust me, it's not your fault. I can't blame you at all. And thanks for trying my eye."

[Dawn : The Black Pearl : Cargo Hold]
Dawn stopped crying and blinked as she heard the loud grumbling of Anthony's stomach against her ear. She stared at him as she pushed her away. It wasn't long before she started to laugh a little at the situation. Ooh the little things that amused her.
Though her laughing was soon stopped by her stomach's own commentary, "Gurguguh!" That caused her to flush slightly. Her stomach was hungry too, from the sounds of it. Last time she remembered eating was back on the train. And that was a good while ago.
"Uh..." she said looking around, "I would assume so. As to which, I have no idea. I have been down here for awhile, but I haven't bothered to touch the crates."

[Alice:: Dutchman :: Outside Captain's Quarters]
Alice replaced the hood over her black locks as she leaned against the outside wall of the Captain's Quarters. She closed her eyes as she scanned the ship; she could sense the presence of the Earthlings fading away and if she cared she might have stopped them but she didn't. The animator also noted the arrival of someone else... someone and an Unversed; someone whose aura felt oddly familiar to her. A dark and familiar scent...
"Zalera..." she breathed. Another scion, how interesting but that wasn't the scent that she was familiar with. Alice's eyes remained closed as she continued to pry for information from her scan. She definitely recognized this person. As if they were from a memory of so long ago; even though the number of days she had been in the world had not surpassed single digits, Alice had grown from a child to an adult in that time with endless memories in her head.
.:Another scion? Another one after Ultima's head~ Intriguing, a blood bath shall ensue and we shall dance in the midst of it~:. CúChulainn chuckled heartily, even though out of all the Scions, the poisonous esper seemed least inclined to exert any effort.
Alice ignored CúChulainn's jovial comment and finally opened her eyes only to narrow them in deep thought as she added everything to her calculations.

[Amy ; Cloud ; Riku : Hawaii : Village]
Heart untainted, Amy emerged on the other side of the dark portal; Cloud and Riku followed shortly after. Riku, she noticed, had a smile on his face. Cloud, however, looked paler than usual.
There was a strange smell in the air that Amy was largely unfamiliar with, but the sheer foreignness brought to mind memories that had long lain dormant. The scenery wasn't exactly familiar to her, but the blue demon poking Bobbi was.
Amy pointed at it and muttered, "Cute. Demon." The distraction of Stitch, mixed with that odd smell, effectively pushed aside her deep musings on the nature of darkness.
The village was a little banged up, but quiet. For all appearances, an attack had occurred, but whatever danger there was had been taken care of by someone else. Instead of thinking such a thing strange, Amy found it encouraging- she even entertained ideas of the villagers fighting Ooze's henchmen off all by themselves. Eat that, storyline. You don't have to wear a ranger suit to be a hero.
Riku casually walked forward to get a better view. He stopped just short of the building's edge; there was something relaxed in his movements, his posture. The breeze played with his hair as he looked back at the group, a small, mischievous smile on his face.
He had recognized the smell from back in Angel Grove, of course, but here it was far stronger. To him, it was the most familiar thing in the world.
It was the smell of the ocean. The beach wasn't far away.
Cloud took advantage of the building they had arrived next to, and for all appearances casually leaned against it. You might call it his signature pose- arms crossed, expression guarded. Few people would recognize he was actually using the building to support himself. This feeling... would pass.
It will pass.
He looked for Leon, hoping to catch his eye. It had been a while since they had last talked... granted, they never talked much anyway.
[[Captain's Disclaimer: Don't forget, to all people with Dress Spheres: the Angel Grove Costume Effect is still in place- the worlds are merged, after all. So the moment you summon your weapons, you will enter your ranger suit.]]

[Kyla: Angel Grove: Hawaiian Village] To her relief, the passing through the dark corridor didn’t last as long as she thought. Just before Kyla lost her nerve, the light opened up on the other side and there she stood by a building where she could see the damage of the town before her.
As more arrived behind her, the artist was already taking a visual inventory. From their first view point, it appeared things could have been a lot worse. There were no scream of people or crying children. People were moseying around doing what they could to make the most of it with a sort of disgruntled air. As she took a mental picture, Kyla could hear the sound of others arriving and felt a strange appreciation inside. When Kyle spoke she turned to him, now seeing that he, Bobbi, Leon, Nick and Dani had come through. Kyla smiled, “That’s a great idea Kyle- I’d actually like to test something out, so now’s a good a time as ever.”
That’s when STICH arrived! Kyla gawked in obvious glee as the adorable bundle of mischief and concealed chaotic strength poked Bobbi’s leg and asked if she was friend or foe so sweetly.
‘Urge to squeak and squish…rising…’
Nope- hold it together. The last thing you want to do is hug Stitch especially when he doesn’t know you. As she resisted the childish urge the rest of their party came through- Cory included! Kyla was honestly surprised. More than that- shocked!
“..You all re-“ She stopped herself and looked down at her feet. It was best not to think too much into it. They made their own decisions obviously Cory didn’t look very pleased, and it wasn’t like they really believed in what she said, so don’t jump to conclusions. (She wasn’t there to hear their reactions of course.)
~ Aibou you smell that! Doesn’t the breeze feel wonderful!~
Instantly she remembered. It smelt like home… Kyla’s home town was on a manmade island. The sea breeze rolled in a lot. That little reminder made her more happy inside then she was prepared for.
Looking ahead she could see Riku smiling back at them, he seemed happy about something, he had that smile of his showing, and her face went red at the sight. Quickly shoving her book into her face, Kyla walked forward, passed him, and proceeded to a fallen building. Surprisingly this time, when she summoned her book she did transform into a Power Ranger, but there were some minor differences. The helmet was off, and her hands were visible, the gloves removed so her fingers could move more freely along the page as she worked.
Kyla stepped back and looked at the crumbled building from all angles, the evicted residents now noticing, watched curiously as she came back around and finished the picture. The rough sketch resembled the building, however it was obviously what Kyla had pictured it looked before its door was blown in, half a wall missing, and the yard upturned. The editing she made a point to do in a different color.
“Alright-” The mechanics of her idea was simple. In the same way Kai, her replica, and moved things and broken things by simply drawing them doing so, Kyla was about to attempt to reconstruct the house, by moving all the broken fragments back into place. Because she wasn’t technically fashioning the thing out of thin air, the taxation on her mana would be solely used to move and seal the already existing material back into place. “– let’s see how it works.”
Hoping her power budgeting was going to work, she illustrated the equation into a foot note at the bottom and named this ‘Restoration illustration,’ Categorized under practical pictomancy. Reaching into her suit sleeves she produced an ether and drank it.
Then she let the new mana flow.
The picture lines lit up, and there was a rustling as the broken stone, wood and glass began to shift. Kyla asked the family to step away as the rubble became animated and began repositioning to match the illustrating in the girls book.
