Tohru nodded and bowed to Hara. She took out her two fans and started dancing alongside Hara, bringing out the graceful movements she had been practicing.

Umemi was having trouble with sleeping lately for some reason, it was probably the fact of worrying about the up and coming ceremony. "I need help with organizing it" she muttered to herself, she rang the bell for someone to get Tora for her as Tora was the most experienced one of her girls here at the okiya.

"Thank you, Tora-chan!" Akemi exclaimed and then smiled at Ana again and said, "Thank you! I am so excited to start lessons soon! I would love for you to teach me how to make your special tea, would you be able be teach me how to make miso soup, too?! Maybe we would be allowed to go to the market for ingredients?" Akemi motioned with her hand for Ana to follow her, and made her way to the kitchen, all the while talking with her newfound friend. She told her what lay behind every door in the okiya that they passed, until they reached the kitchen.
She opened cupboard doors and explained what was kept in them, "In here is where we store the bowls, and other crockery. Cutlery goes in this drawer, and in here is where we store most of the vegetables..." Akemi reddened as she realised she had been doing so much talking, but she was just happy to help someone.

"Thank you, I enjoy having a new friend here too! Would you mind greatly teaching me? I would so love to learn to cook more things. Especially miso soup, it's my favourite!.." Akemi said, smiling back at Ana. "Hmm..now let me see about that tofu..." Akemi gracefully got down on her knees and opened some cupboards and, upon reaping no results, she walked to another store cupboard, opened it and searched around for tofu. She smiled triumphantly, producing a block of the white stuff and exclaimed, "Aha! It seems we do! Shall we get started?"

"Yup, that white brick of tofu will be the 'meat' and the seaweed and bit of salt and broth will be the 'taters.'" She giggled, "I over heard that from some silly westerner coming through my village! My older sister and I had an inside joke about that person ever since. Silly people." She shook her head and laughed, "Now then, we need to get a pot of water, boil the sea weed, add a pinch of salt and bit of other stuff to make it that brown color." Anata said aloud, more to herself than anything, as she rumaged through the cupboards, gathering up the rest of items. She plopped dried sea weed, a dash of salt and the other broth to create that nice mixture of brown cloudy water. Eventually, she cubed the tofu and added it to the chemistry and let it sit. "Nothing to it!" *13*

Chibi walked into the kitchen and looked at the one called okaa-san. " Um...Is there something that you need me to do?" She asked her as she walked up bowing.
Forgetting that she still was holding her fans in her hands.

Tora sat and watched in amazement at how well her little sisters were progressing. "That was beautiful," she clapped. "Come, lets go to my room and review and get dressed for the tea house. You two are well deserving of it," she smiled.

Tohru gasped and beamed happily. "Oh Onee-sama!" She grabbed Hara's hands happily. "We get to go to the teahouse!"

Tora got up to her room and had a maid to fetch Tohru and Hara's kimonos. She helped them dress and put the ornaments in their hair. "Okay girls, you're ready!" she smiled.
