Attention Peons: It is exam season, so your beloved captain/super model has to study... So I'm going to be taking a small hiadus from Gaia until my exams are over. This could be a few weeks. I'll pop in every so often to check up... zfatal, hiddochi, and SPI are in charge while I am away. I do request of you an update PMed to me occasionally to inform me of new events... Thanks, bye!

The armored humanoid bowed his head, "We call upon you, fellow Dark Ones, to lend your energies so that we may bring another into our family..."
In coordinated movement, the other hooded figures put out both hands. a black miasma formed around Damien's body.
"Bring the formula." The armored one said solemnly. A humanoid who appeared as a pale human with glowing orange eyes walked up in a black medical outfit. The new humanoid stabbed a syringe filled with a purple liquid into Damien's body. The miasma began to seep inside, and a faint glow was seen under Damien's eyelids.
The eyes of the once-dead scientist snapped open. "Welcome back to the world of the living, brother. What is your name?"
(You take Damien from here, Hiddo.)

((Ah... so, three out of the... six people currently active in the RP (zfatal, hiddo, spi, techni, fire axel, tigrex) are in charge? I think I shall pass the charge to be between spi and hiddo, who seem to be more adept at leading than I. Unless there is a problem with that, Techni. I can send the updates though... everytime anything important happens? Or every now and then... ah... yeah. Anyway.
ALSO Mariel was stuck between Blake and a weird elf-dude! C'mon! Don't leave him! xDDD))
Nolan sighed as nothing happened. Apparently, his forwarded transmission couldn't be accepted at the moment, so he was stuck watching the faces of Jad and Kaito.
"It's not working," Nolan commented on the obvious, a minute later. It also seemed that his brother did not share the same common sense to keep their personal affairs private.
"Kaito..." Nolan began, shaking his head. "I'm not dead, obviously. Whatever company you signed onto must be pretty top-secret, since they told pretty much the entire world that you were dead, too."
Their appearance was indeed quite similar - as was their taste in clothes, the similarity of which leaving Nolan with a wave of rebellious emotion, causing him to want to immediately change his entire wardrobe.
He had never taken kindly to being compared to his brother, and both of the two were quite intelligent. But, being the scientist, Kaito was quite possibly the smarter of the two, as much as Nolan hated to admit it....
((Blake is stuck for the moment; I do not want to insert Maggie into the scene until I know a little more about this "nova" place; and it seems none of the characters can stay dead xD...))

@Zfatal: *shrugs* It was SPI's idea to revive Damien, I just gave him the "ok" to do so. xd ))
Armagedas stepped forward, it's normally thunderous footsteps seemed almost more silent and muted here...in fact, almost everything seemed muted here. Nova is a force of light and life concentrated into the physical form of a planet hidden deep within the Novias stream, and yet, it's silence and stillness mimicked that of death. The golden dragon fit in perfectly with this place, no doubt about it -Armagedas was created here. "The homeland...the lost sanctuary of Nova. It lies just ahead, it's secrets and power are open to those deemed worthy to wield them. Danger may be ahead, proceed with caution, mistress Layla."
Layla joined Armagedas further down the path, just ahead of them towered the highly advanced golden buildings of a large civilization. The city looked abandoned, but it still pulsed and throbbed with the thick strands of Novias energy, like a heartbeat. 'This isn't right...we're interfering with something that should remain hidden from human contact all together...' Layla stopped in her tracks, glancing up at the monstrous buildings. Something popped up in her mind just then; The Xaphnis Mattyr glyph, the web within it -she knew now what the web was for. 'But the Infinity Unit must be destroyed...or at least prevented from being created. And I know just how to stop it...this is our only resort...' "You disrupt part of the spiderweb, the whole web will be affected...the same rule applies to the Novias stream...the Novias stream IS the web..." Layla murmured to herself, then continued onward to the city. "Let's go, Armagedas."

((Yeah, but I gave him that idea when I mentioned that his scientists might do the same with Aerclayr...
And, oddly enough (xD), I don't think Spi will be happy that his bot is being plotted against. In his... uh, guild... I don't think the Infinity Unit is a bad guy...
Oh, and Spi, Hiddo found your mule about a day before you introduced him xD. So we both knew about it already! XDDD))

And SHH!! You didn't need to TELL him I found it! You could have lied and said that magical rainbow-skinned gnomes dove into the internet and located his mule! scream ))
Vexis looked down at the snowy ground, deep in her own thoughts. "That portal was to Nova...the very center of the Novias stream. Nova is the soul within it's body -the Novias stream, figuratively speaking, that is..." Vexis explained slowly at first. "Its the main life stream of the universe...there are many different energies and streams out in space...but Novias has and always will be the largest and strongest force out there...but it was sealed away for the longest time..." She headed towards the entrance to the Shivasai cavern, Gunther followed.
"So...that energy, it was a life force of some sort? But why was it here? How did it get released?"
Vexis hung her head low, looking back at Gunther now. "I don't know."

The monster of what Damien had been revived into ever so slowly sat up on the table-like surface, his soulless looking glance seemed to float about his surroundings. Damien finally realized which person spoke, his stare was now focused on that person. "...I was once known as Damien Raid...I don't remember much else, however..."

((Does anyone here know how to add an iMeem.com playlist to their media section? I wanted to make this mule's profile more...fancy by adding my music to it, and Playlist.com just won't do -they don't have the same songs I wanted. @_@ I've been cutting apart the HTML code forever, trying to find the right URL...but nothing is working.. xp ))

Soon a brief glow appeared in the distance behind Layla and Armegedas. Maggie stumbled out of the portal before it quickly closed; she had been trapped in the void and God knows how she had gotten out.
Her face was contorted with pain and exhaustion, and her eyes were dull, unseeing, as she appeared to be in a trance at the moment. Of course, the fact that her eyes were, unlike her body was moments ago, still glowing.
"Where... what... am I?" She asked, before falling to her knees.

Kaito pushed Jad out of the way, "What? They said I was dead? Then... that explains why I never got replies to the letters I sent home..."

"Welcome to the race of the Dark Ones, Damien." The armored one said, waving a clawed gauntlet at a hooded figure, "Jethal shall make sure you are properly trained in our ways... We can't have an untrained Dark One before the next culling..."
The hooded figure motioned for Damien to follow. The other figures dispersed throug separate arching doorways, and the leader turned around to face a tremendous dark-green reptilian in rusted armor. The creature's head was hidden behind a helmet, but twin glowing yellow eyes glared out from it.
"Fleet Admiral Rathos. What is the meaning of this?! We should be readying for the next attack."
"Well, lieutenant Galvec, I never thought you'd be so incredibly stupid to enter the ceremony room, but congratulations, you've proven me wrong. We lead this fleet, Agronian, not you. Your job is to call in the ships and mind your own damn business. Enter this room again, and I shall gut you like a fish and drain every last speck of life you have. understand?!"
The large armored reptilian backed away in fear, "Y-yes sir."

Nolan shrugged. "Apparently. Although I'd love to just sit around and talk-" Then Nolan abruptly turned half away, raising his wrist to his ear, listening.
He had just received Mariel's latest report. She was coming back in. Nolan didn't even respond to her, though.
Turning back to the two, Nolan cleared his throat. "I would like to request permission to board. Nina and her crew all need to be subject to interviews regarding the nature of her past... endeavors, so to speak. If you have any affiliation with her, which I suspect you do, then you'll be subject to questioning as well. Oh wait," Nolan interrupted himself, "you're not a subject of the Empire... I suppose what I've just said regarding you, Admiral, is actually null and void. I would recommend withdrawing all your personnel from Nina's ship if you wish to avoid being detained. I cannot foresee or ascertain what shall happen if we do not like what we find. That is up to my superior."
Nolan had said quite a mouth-full without pause (unless you count him interrupting himself) and had taken on quite an authoritative demeanor. His professional nature was taking over, and he had no need to stall any longer, either.
((Don't forget, Hiddo, Maggie appeared somewhere behind Layla and the dragon, just shortly ago....))
