Z groaned at his sudden exhaustion. HE knew he had to let his sticker rest. He raced past the guardian and up the stairs going for the Xth floor where X is the floor that he saw.

((Hahaha. Nice math reference. The Sticker isn't tired; Z is. He needs serious rest.))
Blaine saw a few random people, who looked up in confusion. Not really alarm, except in one case when he opened up the supply closet to reveal the secretary doing the deed of darkness with the boss. Blaine saw a wedding ring on the boss man before he shut the door. No Karl.
X = 5.

Z took a break on the stairs, preparded in case Blaine came up the same way. He waited to feel more rested. (. . .)

Z waited for about five minutes, but he was mostly clear. Blaine was still looking in the doors at that point.

Z continued his way up the stairs, not running to fast as to conserve energy. When he reached the fifth floor he saw . . .

Nothing important. It was a lab, in which several lab techs and scientists were bustling around and being busy. No one even looked up.

Edit teh double post:
Z straightened his ruffled clothes and pretended that he belonged. He stopped by one of the scientists. "Have you seen Dr. Karl?" He asked in a tone that clearly implied urgency.

Blaine shielded his eyes when he came across the secretary and her boss, "Oh my!" he said quietly, "Sorry!" he slammed the door shut and ran up the stairs after Z.

Anatoly ran inside, taking care not to be cut as he passed Nathan. He entered an elevator and sent it for floor 4.

Nathan sprinted in afterwards after his mysterious seizure, and slammed his foot into the elevator wall, encasing Anatoly's fists in steel with a quick trace, enough to make them very slow if not immobile..

Anatoly stared at his fists and, making the best of a bad situation, slammed one down on Nathan's foot.

"yeeeaaaaRRRRRGGGHHH" Nathan shouted, snapping in a fireball and driving it into Anatoly's face. It wouldn't kill him or even give him any worse than second degree burns, but...

Anatoly, with nowhere to dodge, threw his arms in the way. The metal took most of the heat, though a great deal passed along to his hands. Anatoly slammed the Close Door Button and prepared to swing at any part of Nathan that dared try to stop it from doing so.

But with so much steel on his hands, both open and close were hit, and Nathan had time to throw his shoulder in at Anatoly's forcing his way in. He lit up his foot and kicked at Anatoly's shin - not hard, because he wasn't strong, but it would burn all right.
