0e signed "well i fought a dragon," he put a sign at the end of this sentance that indicated joking sarcasm and continued as normal," but no nothing went on it was dull. i even poked Art a few times to try and wake the boy but to no aviel. i am fine i need little sleep. i should need some tonight at around dusk or slightly earlier but only for thirty minutes or so. with the progress we have made if we press on we should be able to make your camp in 2 or 3 hours of walking. unlike our last venture i know where we are going and we wont be trapped in a bloody catacomb!"

he smiled at her and steped over giving her a small hug and whispered, "we will come back. most definetly. im glad we are back up here for your sake as well. i will not hang about your camp long at all... if at all... i may jsut make sure you are safe there and hten go to work on my home. if you ever want to visit me you are more then welcome. and.. the point is i would like to have you visit..." there was a long silence, "because... i really like you..." another long pause, "im sorry, im sure i sound quite the fool."

he smirked, "you are welcome to myabode at anytime, or if you'd like i can build you a place to stay as well. shall i go and scrounge for some berries lass? an if so would you wake the boy in while i go," he leaned in an gave her a pat on the back, "an if they do anything to harm you like tar and feather they will have to answer to me," he gave her a playful wink.

he shrugged and turned away, "your choice lass. i will be only a short moment or a few moments that is. any preferances on berries if i can find em," he looked over his shoulder to see her responce as he walked into the woods.

he walked into the woods with a chuckle and nodded his head to zahar and began looking around for signs of animal travle or of certain flora that indicate friut vegitation can grow near by. he whistled loudly the call for titan and waited hoping the bird would be around. he heard a shuffle from behind him and noted mavrick had fallowed him out. and was now trundling at his heels. a few minutes later he whislted again and waited noting the bushes that he had hopped to see. he looked past a large shrub an saw an apple tree of all things! these would do nicely. as he entered the clearing a small yellow bird landed on him with a happy chirp, "titan!" he yelled, smiling at the bird, " i thought id lost ye lil man! i need to get those apples then ill take you back to camp. you an i have a new friend!"

he blinked hi eyes open and looked around at the day light. he had missed his watch! "darn it," he thought. he looked to zahar, "good morning, im sory i slept do much. did SK try an wake me?"

"yes i did young one,"came SKs soft responce, "you were tierd. we will tech you to be on watch another night i promise,"

he blinks and nodded as a silent responce to SK and said to zahar, "food. what kind of food? is he hunting, i bet hes a hunter isnt he! do you hunt?"

"i.. he.. the song... he played so wonderfully. i would not think one like him could do that. he.. does not have the style of a bard or musicion but... the way he told the story of how oyu found me and the way he played. i was.. i was. whats a better word for stuck on the sound?"

SK smirked at the boys innocent comments as he walked back to camp with a bird on his shoulder and a giant rat in behind him with a bushel of apples in his arms and didnt blame the boy at all. at least the boy seemed to like him. another first indeed. mind you zahar had changed him... and he knew that to be a fact.

sk smiled and tossed one to her, "these seem like apples that are a common fruit on most primmaterial planes ive been on, im not sure that there this is same thing as theres are bright green.where as most ive seen are red or red and green. i have eaten the odd yellow ones but we shall see. im quite sure they are apples though an will be tasty."
