Ambrose's ears crumpled. "Those doggies... those are wolves, Colche. That... that's what I'm turning into." He glanced between the two of them. "Kind of. They... they make wolves bad in movies a lot of times.... but they aren't really usually that bad in reality."
He smiled encouragingly. "I'm sure you'll find a prince some day, Colche... There are so many nice people around here on the Island... sometime... when you're ready... and when time is right... some one will see the princess in you." He tapped her on the nose.
"And just wait." He said at her declaration of the beast. "Sometmes beasts aren't as mean as they seem or look like."
He chuckled. "He's fuzzy too."

"wolves?" she looked up at Ambrose "Ambrose nice wolf" she smiled looking at Angelina "learn songs!" she puurrs happily her long tail swaying. She continued to watch, the beast shouted at Belle, she didn't like that at all, he had a scary voice! He was fuzzy though, so she watched on quietly for a time glad when beast saved belle from the now aptly dubbed "bad wolves, not nice like Ambrose"
She smiled up at Ambrose "Maybe" she sighed softly happily gazing at the moving figures, this was certainly going to become one of her favourite past times. Of course by the time the beauty and the beast song came on, she had changed her tune about the beast "Beast nice now." she smiled cattily, beast was big and exceedingly fluffy and turning out to be a nice chracter when he wasn't shouting or roaring!

"See what a nice girl can do to a man?" Angelina said.
"People can change. Not just physically. Kind of like how you're learning how to talk so well, and how to read. And how to sing. Everyone can change. Like the beast... he learned to be nice. And loving."
ANgelina sighed and mumbled under her breath "well, maybe not everyone," as she thought a bout the staff.

Ambrose smiled, ageeing with a laugh at the designation of the wolves in the movie.
With Ambrose's enforced new perpective, the movie was swiftly becoming a new favorite of his as well. He slowly over the course of the movie inched closer to Angelina, but thorougly enjoyed sharing the movie with Colche, for whome it was still new.
"Yes, Beast becomes nice... He can be scary sometimes, but deep down I think he was nice all along."
Soon Gaston, the non-furry man in the cartoon, starts setting the trap to bring Belle to him and kill the beast.

Colche pouts at bit when gaston tried to kill beast "bad none furry man!" her brow furrows and she acctually hisses at the screen to proove her point though she pouts and nestles down.
Of course, as always Disney movies provide a happy ending. She tilts ehr head watching as the ebast turns in to a handsome man "magics" she stated with a kittyish smile. Her mind understood magic, you could claim anything was magic even if it wasn't it made more sence to call it that. "Beast man.." she licks her lips a few times looking at Ambrose. Deep down she knew Ambrose wasn't as happy about hs change as she was. Life as what she was now was better than her life before, becoming a cheetah, well it had changed her whole perspectie, she wa smuch more confident, becomeing independant, she hadlearned so much, her speach patterns becoming much more understandable. "Dance!" she giggled, she wanetd to learn to dance too, she had read the word in cinderella, it looked so much more fun with the moving pictures though than it did in her story book.
Watching the film draw to a close she turned her perfect blue eyes up to Ambrose and Angelina and smiled softly. "Not bad, being a beast, still you" she smiled "still me" her tail flickered softly and she gave a soft sigh snuggling down in to the cushions "Ambrose, what is me?" her baby blues closed as she asked the question, it was definately nap time before any more movies were watched, it was comfy on this couch. Her ears twitched though for an answer. Kitty just didn't cut it any more, she wasn't a kitty in the basic sence.

"Yeah..... Gaston, even though he is supposed to be pretty in this movie, is a bad man. That's the ... ah... theme of the movie. What you look like doesn't mean anything about how you really are."
He stroked her hair in a brotherly fashion. "Thank you, Colche.... That does mean a lot. And, as weird as it probably sounds coming from me, I always thought that the Prince looks better as a Beast in this movie." He barked a laugh. "Maybe I should try to see things like that.
He turned quizzical blue flecked with yellow eyes to the kitten by his side. "What are you?" He studied her features. He had a pretty good idea given her slim frame, the spots and her rounded claws.... But he wanted to make sure before he told her something wrong - as there were a lot of spotty cats.
"Well, actually there are some books in this room that can tell us for certain." He pried himself out of his comfy seat in the couch and loped over to the bookshelves, plucking one on wild felines before coming back tothe couch, and flipped it to the Cheetah page.
"These are Cheetahs." Ambrose said, turning the book so she could see, mentally checking the features against hers.... the only thing - she didn't quite have full spots in places like her back... they were more like stripes.
He flipped a few pages and paused. Still in the cheetah section was a picture of a very different cheetah - with the same markings.
His eyes lit up. "There you go, Colche!" He pointed. "That looks like your markings."
He turned the book enough to read. "King Cheetah." He read, then smiled a WIDE Grin. "See, Colche - you are royalty! I guess that means that you are a princess cheetah!"

Colche nodded softly "beast pretty" pretty was still one of her favourite words. She opened her eyes to rest her chin on Ambrose's arm and look in the book. There were lots of words in this book, not like her story books, still there were lots of pictures too.
Upon the arrival of the cheetah images she smiled and puurred and the decleration that she was royalty and to top it off being told she was a princess cheetah made her giggle and bury her face in to his arms "Colche princess cheetah?" she grinned up at Ambrose and Angelina her beautiful blue eyes dancing happily. She really was a princess just like belle or snow white!

Angelina couldn't help but giggles watching Ambrose and Colche. Looks like Ambrose had become the collective "big brother" to the young girls of the island.
"See, Colche! One day you're prince will come' she bolted, the song from Sleepy Beauty. Thats a song you can learn some other time. Its from this movie." Angelina pulled the DVD from the shelf and showed it to her,pointing to the picture of Briar Rose. "She's a princess, too. Maybe we can watch this soon?"

The grin widened. "Yep, Colche - it looks like it. Ah... Aubrey is helping you become a princess in some fashion." He scratched the back of his head. It was obvious from what he had known of Aubrey, and what they had both said, that she was personally responsible for Colche.
"That's right... Colche look for these boxes that have this picture on them" He pointed to the Disney logo. "Most of them are in this area of the shelf."
"And you open them and put the disk into the machine like this." HE showed her how to put the DVD into the machine. "Push this button and it will play for you. There are lots and lots of stories here."
He put Beauty and the Beast back on the shelf. "I bet you would like Sleeping Beauty... I also reccomend Robin Hood - there are lots of furry people in that... And The Lion King... and Cinderella... heck, you'll probably like almost all of them." He smiled to her.
"But... I should probably be getting Angelina back to our duplex.... she is feeling yucky." He frowned, and put an arm around her. "So she should probably try to sleep."
"And I'll be happy to watch more movies with you if you want me to. Just come and find me." He wagged his tail.

Colche smiled and nodded. There were so many titles the whole disney library infact. "Okay" she nodded softly and snuggles ambrose before giving Angelina a hug too. She rolled on to her foot paws, always on tip toes now she had definately gained a little bit of height. "watch more later" she smiled brightly. Sleeping beauty, another of her books, she knew that story too. Puurring happily she looked at the racks of dvd's a new world had opened up for her now a new type of reading that wasn't reading though it was just as fun as picking up her leap pad.
She stretched her whole frame and smiled again at the two, now she had met Angelina she didn't feel half as worried about her, Ambrose was obviously her prince and that made her happy, Ambrose was nice and one of the first few males on the isalnd she had come to trust, it was good that he had a princess to make him happy. Giving one final puurr she gave them both another quick, furry hug and zipped off towards the door "nap time" she giggled "More dee vee dees later" she grins, oh they would hear more about this, she would remember how to put them in but it was fun watching with other people. "byes!" she waved a fuzzy fingered hand, her tailtip the last visable thing before she vanished through the door ready for a nap in her duplex.

"Goodbye Colche," Angelina said, almost whimsical. She then turned Ambrose and asked once again to be carried back to the duplex.
"I want one," she finally blurted out, as if you would about a kitten. It was hard to tell if she meant a cute pet, a 'project' (like Colche was to Aubrey), or a child.

"Definately watch more later." He affirmed. "But be careful, some of the movies without that picture on them can be scary. You might not like them." He gave her as a last word of warning, the thought of Colche being traumitized if she stumbled across a horror movie playing in his mind.
"You sleep well, Colche!" He called after her, returnign her wave.
He swept Angelina, wrapped in the blanked, off her feet like the princes in the movies they had been watching and strode gallantly back to the duplex. "But it is time for sick princesses to get some sleep." He smiled to her.
He blinked, almost stumbling at her declaration. With a soft smile, he replied. "I think Colche's one of a kind."

Lily walks toward the cafeteria from her duplex cautiously, it was after what some would call supper time in hopes of not running into too many people- she just doesn't feel much like saying something else like she said to Joliette last time she was in the cafeteria.
She makes it to the building without seeing anyone, and then she doesn't get a very good chance to look around the cafeteria as she walks in before she coughs. She's been feeling a bit better, but the cough seems quite stubborn. Keeping a hand to her mouth even when she stops coughing, she takes a look around the cafeteria.

Chana was lingering over her dinner; a salad piled high with all sorts of good (and crunchy) fresh greens, vegetables, and some nuts. Chewing her food was such a loud task she almost didn't hear the coughing.
Chana looked up to see...oh, what was her name?...come in, covering her mouth. "You all right?" she called, concern in her voice.
