Nice to see this place all revamped and reactivated! <3 I'll be sure try roleplaying here soon! My own guild is reactivated and so I'm mostly rping there xD I loves eet!

Job interviews are rough, even moreso when you have low self esteem. You're selling yourself to your possible employer, and if you have a hard time coming up with reasons to love yourself (like I do lol) you'll have an even harder time getting someone else to like you. So I figured out the best way to do it is roleplay. When I have to talk to an employer, I try not to look in the mirror that morning, and take off my glasses so my face is obscured when I do. When I get to the interview, I pretend to be one of my original characters, or Hermione with an American accent. I gesure with my hands more, tip my chin up or force laughter after every sentence, adding "I'm such a dork, I KNOW" in the same tone most people say "I'm SOOOO ******** HOT" to indicate that I might be a little goofy, but I don't mind it and they shouldn't mind it either. So I cover my a** later when I screw up, since I can just laugh during a tense moment about how I warned them I was a dork.
Never go into an interview as yourself unless you think YOU can sell yourself. I bet we all could -- I could cover you in tomato paste and sell you to a woman in a white wedding gown, 'cos I love you -- but you seem like when you meet new people, you don't feel comfortable with youself.
Another game I play is what I just did recently at Logan's. I pretended I was someone else who accidently swapped bodies with Nazzy and now had to win her a job since she was in my body elsewhere. It was easy to talk myself up when I pretended I wasn't me.. I'm arrogant on the inside, I think. XD

Is it bad that I say "most active" only because it's the only one other than the Drama guild that Jess made that, like, died? Oliver was in there, and Ty... *Pokes around to see if it's come back alive* I loved all the Oliver/Percy going on in there...

I think guys are too timid about it. I heard the same thing over and over 'it's more complicated than a d**k! and more stuff down there to deal with! boohoo!' and it's really not true. Or as far as my opinion goes. "c**t, slit, that's it! And all it needs is a lil' lick!" is what I say. >:B

...I don't think I could ever role play at an interview.

I mean, if I'm off and work here shouldn't I be treated like a ******** gold customer? Cappytain Nazzy: Nah, you're only promoting your guild! It's guuuud to have pride in this place!! Mine is currently in the midst of total revampage (since me and someone use to co-own it, but now only I do, so I'm doing it up how I like :'3). I love roleplaying places other than my own guild though as well. Because my guild is where I get my serious roleplaying done. Which I do enjoy throughly, but sometimes I need a break from it to do something else... elsewhere. xDD And I love all my characters (Alecto Rosier-Carrow, Pippa Leiy Darling, Zenobia Haveness, Norman Roscoe Jiggs, Dexter Nathaniel Owens and Kanita Doyle C: Hehehhee)
Guys are pussies >:B But I have bad gag relfex so... too bad for them! Hah, not that I don't improvizzz x3

I had a job interview at a Daycare... wasn't hired on! D': They said they had enough staff >:U WELL THEN WHY THE ******** DID I HAVE TO GO THROU THE NERVEWRACKIN INTERVIEW PROCESS?!?! >:V
I should have held on tight to my old job instead of quit... I mean it wasn't bad, but too much damn drama. Now with the economy in the stinker though, IMSOBROKEASS!

Best thing is to make a back up plan in case:
1. he turns out to be an a*****e and comes up to you one day and says 'Oh, do you mind not going together anymore? I've asked someone for a non-friend thing, and since I asked you because we're friends and I had no one to go with"
2. He turns out to be uber-a*****e and says "Hahaha, oh well I was never going to take you. *INSERT MEAN THINGS HERE*" Wherein we all get money for a bus, go down to where you live, and hurt him.
3. He unexpectedly has a cliff accident and loses his memory, and while at the hospital, and though you visit him every day and talk to him about the prom, he asks a quiet terminal illness ridden girl to the hospital prom, and it'll likely be the only time she ever wears a fancy dress like that and gets to go with a boy.. well.. you can't compete with that. D: (I swear I didn't steal that from lifetime)
So, backup!
