Syrens Song The BMX X5 came to a halt at the beginning of the docks, Kerrigan killing the engine before checking to make sure that she was ready if something were to happen tonight. After making sure that she had her magnums and her personal stash of ammunition, she looked over at Uncle before glancing back to Jacob, almost as if asking them if they were ready. Uncle opened the door, rising from the seat, and letting his cloak billow out, the wind blowing it outward, letting a glimpse of his armoured boots show. He held it closed around the chest and waist, to keep it from showing too much. He thanked the spirits he'd grabbed the cloak with the weighted hood, that way the hood wouldn't flip over to show his helmet. 'Let us go, and look for Sethe, or some trace of him.'

Kerrigan nodded to the old man, opening the door of the car and stepping out, scanning the area quickly. Seeing no traces of anything hostile, she closed the car door, taking a few careful steps into the area, knowing that the others would follow. Everything was smashed; she had not realized how much damage they had done to the docks in the midst of their fighting. Crates were smashed, cars flipped, boards broken. It looked like a tornado had ripped through the area. Breaking off to the right, she kicked some debris around with her boots, hearing he wood thunk against something metal. Quirking her eyebrow, she kneeled down, shuffling the wood out of the way to see a glimpse of a helmet she knew all too much about.
"Uncle," she called over to the man, motioning for him to come over to her. Taking the helmet in her hands, she ran her fingers over the cold metal as the wind blew back against her. Looking around once more, almost expecting to see Krii laying somewhere now that she had found his helmet, she was disappointed. Handing he helmet to Krii, she began to sort through the rest of the damage, pushing large amounts of wood out of the way until she found a smashed car hidden underneath the rubble. Looking in the remains of the car, she saw nothing, and was about to walk away when she caught the glimmer of something in the moonlight, underneath the car. Dropping to her knees, the blade of Kriis wakazashi glinted back at her, almost mockingly as it was stuck underneath the car, only the blade sticking out.
Standing quickly, she called her comrades over, pushing against the ca as hard as she could. A human would not be able to budge the car, and even with her vampiric abilities, she could only scoot it over a tiny bit. She knew that the blade had special abilities, but she could not wait to have them move the car and possible damage the sword. Sitting down, she braces her feet up on the side of the car and grabbed hold of the blade, feeling the steel sink down into her flesh as she pulled on it. Grunting through the pain of the cut, the blade began to burn her, causing her to let out a gasp of pain, though her grip did not release. A scream of frustration emitted from her as the blade wrenched free from the car, causing her to fall backwards and release the blade, which landed with a clank of metal next to her. Her hands were bleeding, and burning, but she bore it with only a silent tear of pain trickling down her cheek as she cradled her hands to her chest, turning to Uncle.
"What does it mean," she asked, her voice a little shaky from the pain that was shooting through her.

Jacob ran over, his shotgun at the ready, as an in-case. When he saw Kerrigan's effort, he knew she had to do it. For herself. "You alright?" he asked, noticing the wound on her hand. "That'll heal soon, right?" he looked at Uncle for confirmation, as he hadn't seen any cut that looked that bad in ages. And certainly never on a Vampire.

"I'm fine," she said, pushing herself off of the ground and biting back the pain. In time, the new hunter would understand more about her personality. She was never one to show weakness, especially in front of a new hunter. That was not going to change now.

Uncle sighed. 'No, it will take some time to heal that. I helped make this sword. It was made to help hunt vampires.' Uncle replied to the new Hunter. 'What it means, is that Krii'Ouse has been taken, as I feared, and expected. He is not as safe as Tokeru assumes, or hopes.' He picked up the blade by the handle, and focused on it.
'His spirit lingers lightly on this sword. It was not very long he held it in some sort of fight. If I can focus more, I can follow some sort of trail.'
The old man sat on the ground, holding up the blade with an open palm on the handle, and the other open palm holding up the blade near the tip. He sat himself into the lotus position, and began to meditate and search out Sethe's spiritual signature.

As Uncle said that Krii had been taken, and was indeed not safe, Kerrigan felt a pang in her gut, almost as if someone had kicked her full force. In order to not dwell on what was just said, she pulled a roll of gauze from a pouch on her belt and set to work wrapping one of her hands as she took a few steps away from Uncle, who settled down to do some searching for Krii on a plane she couldn't comprehend. Turning her back on the two of them, she finished wrapping one hand, and then wrapped the other quickly before taking a deep breath to steady herself.
"He is fine," she whispered to herself, closing her eyes and straightening up as she took a deep breath. She heard the words spoken out loud, but for some reason she was either unable, or unwilling, to believe anything else but those words. Therefore, they offered little comfort to her as she still had no idea where he was, and it was certainly not encouraging that he had left his weapon and helmet behind. Taking one of her magnums, a hiss of displeasure escaped her as she forced her wounded hand to wrap around the hilt, finger poised on the trigger. It was painful, but she would manage, as she always did. Sliding the gun back into her thigh holster, she took another deep breath to steady her nerves before turning around and facing the two of them once more, awaiting what Uncle had to say.

Jacob nodded, and went over to the rubble. "Man....absolutuely totaled." he sighed. He surveyed the area, and didn't really see anything. He sat down, closed his eyes, and grabbed a handful of pebbles. He started to rotate in a small circle, flicking a pebble away every now and again. Eventually, his hand was empty, and he started away from the small group. He walked in a small circle around the pile of concrete and metal a few times and cursed under his breath.

Kerrigan looked over at Jacob, sighing as she walked over to him and stood in front of him.
"Quit pacing," she said simply, turning to look at Uncle. Jacob's constant movement was not only making her nervous, but it was making her angry. Though, it was not entirely his fault. Tokeru had said that Krii was fine...Tokeru was wrong, yet again. That man, though she already hated him, was going to have more to answer for if Krii was harmed in any way.
"We need to stay calm, stay focused," she said to Jacob, though it was almost more for herself than him.

Jacob sat down on the ground and said "Sorry...but inaction makes me nervous. Nothing to do...is calm. Calm comes before a storm. And from your behavior, it's gonna be one hell of a storm."

Kerrigan looked to him, shaking her head a little bit.
"You learn to appreciate the few moments of calm you get in this profession," she said to him, though she knew he was right. Whatever was going on was not good, and it was going to take action from the hunters that might cost lives. As long as Krii got out of it safe, she was willing to lay down her own for that chance. Still, the other hunters had not paced that decision in her hands.
Turning to look at him, she gave him as much of a reassuring smile as she could muster.
"Everything is going to be fine. Krii is not the Omega Hunter for no reason, and I can guarantee he isn't going down without a fight. It won't be as much of a storm as you think. Besides...they don't know who they pissed off," she said with a playful grin, though she was only half kidding. If anything had happened to him...well Kerrigan's death would be nothing compared to the pain she would inflict on them.
