That is the terms of our agreement. This is your chance now, to say yes or no. Say no, and I disassemble the box and move on to other...activities. Say yes, and I will finish it tonight and leave it for you to pick up at Lantern's tomorrow.
But you must give me your word you will return it to me when you are finished with your ...."therapy."

I actually like the box itself.. it's pretty and would look nice on my vanity table. You know, if it didn't have a dual purpose.
I'm either doing the stupidest thing or the smartest thing. I guess we'll see. He told me that people need help and he didn't have time to "help himself." Maybe I need to help him...

The world needs help, and a lot of it. More than one man can possibly provide, even if he spends every minute of every day. There will still be the poor and the forgotten. There will still be injustice in the world.
It's when the hero loses sight of this and thinks he can save everyone on his own that he starts to lose what makes him a hero. It's on everyone's shoulders to help each other. Everyone.

Maybe that's what his "walk" is about. I'm not usually the attention whoring "woe is me" type of girl, but I really do miss him and I want to give him a vacation from his responsibilities, just enough to re-energize him.... and us.

Sorry, that's the social activist in me talking. I've devoted a lot of time and money to trying to help people in a tangible way. Food drives, youth centers, education assistance in low-income neighborhoods. Clark may want to get back in touch with America, but walking around like some caped Messiah isn't going to do it.

I hope this good intention doesn't bite me in the a** later, but I'm not sure how else to get his attention. Waiting for him in the kitchen naked or getting a makeover, like the magazines always say to do to "spice things up" isn't going to cut it. Clark has a lot on his mind.
