I wouldn't say that Alex is directly an art thief. He has made no claim, that I have seen, to be the author of the work. Perhaps he thought it was a cool character and wanted to use it? He has Werewolf in his username so it makes sense that he would want an image of one in his signature.

The only thing wrong that I see is not citing his sources/asking for permission to use it. If the author doesn't put a watermark or signature on the image (especially for posts on the internet) then they are partially to blame. It is a direct link from DA as you noted, so it isn't like he has edited it and passed it off as his own. Assuming that an image/drawing in a signature is drawn by the person using it is never a good idea on forums.

I stick by my words and my actions. I'm not here to be liked by everyone or hold everyone's hand. I'm not a particularly nice person and the world online or otherwise isn't particularly nice either. I could have been much much harder, and there are thousands of people who would be without a moments hesitation elsewhere should he ever choose to rp and such outside of this guild. If harsh words are what is needed to kick someone in the right direction then I see no problem. I'll back off the grammar stuff for now, but violation of the rules is something I'm still going to come down on and I'm not gonna be nice about it. Don't like it, too bad. It is good that he fixed it though. And its no one liner, which is more than a lot of us can say about our early posts. So I will give him that.

Hey your friend is right, look I really thought the picture was cool, but I can be forgetful at times so I accidentally didn't put in the source, but I will change it. But not right now cause my iPod doesn't allow me to go to the signature page. While I am a bit late on this issue, I feel as a mod I must add my say on this. I wholeheartedly agree with Melph that this sort of topic has no place in the OOC. The OOC was created for members to enjoy friendly conversation about roleplay topics that do not belong in the main thread, or any other type of general conversation, not critique of this level. Commentary is fine, but I feel this was a bit over the top.

This is not the sort of image we wish to broadcast here at TTR. We want to be first and foremost a welcoming group of people. I need not remind everyone that they too had humble beginnings here, and that we all have done things with our characters or our writing that we may want to forget. For example, much to my great embarrassment upon revisiting the older threads, one of my first posts had an actual emoticon in it. My point is that we were all new here at one point, and it is our job as members to help new people. Crenu, while you were a bit harsh, I do admire your dedication and obvious care for this RP, as evident in your knowledge of the regulations.

Alex, I would very much suggest you take another look at the rules topics, and by all means, please PM either myself, Airelesanya or Andragoran if you need anything clarified further. Crenu's suggestion to read other's posts is also valid. I for one, hold my fellow members as some of my favorite writers, and am always learning new tricks and skills from them.

I'll restate, I am more than willing to answer any and all questions you may have about this roleplay and how it works. Just send me a PM and I will reply as fast and cohesively as I can. And that goes for everyone involved in this roleplay, not just the brand new players.

Edit: Also, nice choice in Pokemon Alex. I started with a Charmander oh so many years ago. :]
