River blinked at the woman who came down and sat quietly on the couch. Not recalling her face in any recent visits she shook her head and stared at the cup for a longer period of time, like it would give up and look away as animals and people did sometimes. Taking a deep breath she grabed the cup, carefuly but demanding and rose it to her lips, sipping on the now warm coffee that was in it.

She straightened her bak and stretched her arms. The room was still a bit empty with the same amount of people in the lobby. The sun shone soft through the window, but she knew it was cold outside. She brought up her knees and continued reading.

Ukaia woke with a little groan. The pain meds had worn off and her body ifnormed her it was time to get up, and go pee. Or explode.. or make a mess in the lovely sheets. Right.. time to get up. Slowly she sat up wincing in pain as her stomach began cussing her out for even thinking of shifting.
WHen her feet hit the floor she realized walking on her leg was going to be difficult.. if not impossible. she sighed and shrugged a bit. Then carefully levelered herself to her feet. NOW.. to the bathrom!

Artemis looked up at the rustling upstairs. She looked around and noticed a figure at the counter. She was drinking her coffee solemnly. Artemis turned away and keep reading

Ukaia had made it to the door way of River's room, but she coudlnt' get any further. He leg was beyond hurting, her sotmach was killing her she felt sick and nausiated from the pain. Hs e was currely shaking lightly and lenaing with all her weight on the door frame.
And she still had to pee

Hearing movment form her room, Rivers eyes shot to the stairs and all thoughts of coffee lost as she set the cup down. Standing in a mild manner she started for the stairs in a quick step, "What are you doing up?" River murmured to herself more then to Ukaia as the Girl came into veiw. Stopping short she examined her expression her body then continued the short distance to her, kneeling down. " Ukaia, What's wrong?" She murmured then her dark eyes gazing with curiousity, and mild concern.

"I have to pee" she muttered
"And.. i was going to go to my own room so i'm not a bother to you anymore" she said then took a deep breath stil leaning completley on the door fram
"And the painkillers have worn off.. it hurts still. "She muttered

"Of course it hurts.." River flatly spoke, trying to be to the point with her words," I'll take you to the bathroom but you're not going into your Light-littered room. You can stay in mine or travel down stairs." Reaching out river took Ukaia's arm in her hand, lifting her off the door frame and grabbing hold of her quickly so she didn't hurt her arm at all. Blinking down at her she waited her hand around her waist to hold her upright. "..Ready?.."

"WHat's wrong with my light littered room?" she demanded and nodded a bit

"It's a pain in the a** to get you in and out of their.." She growled out walking down the hall, looking at each door with a raised brow before she came to the right one, the one Ukaia needed. Looking down she sighed and kicked the door open, the knob on the other side hit the wall before bouncing back at her in protest. Stopping it with her foot she grunted in annoyence and held her to walk into the room."...There..You are.." She murmured softly.

"Then you shoudlnt' have gone for my leg" Ukaia muttered as she smelled her own room. She was very glad for that.. She sighed gratefully vincents scent was around her and she spotted oneka on the bed
"If it had jsut been my stomach i could have made it"s jhe added tiredly
"Thanks though for the help.." she said trying to streighten up.. she'd stopped shaking so hard and even had a bit of color back in her face

Artemis got up from the sofa and left the book in her place. She stretched once more and walked out of the muffin and into town.

Grunting some she scowled at the smells." You use the restroom then.." She said rolling her eyes as she closed the door behind them, not turning the light switch on just yet. " It smells like that Stinky Vincent in here, you should air it out.." River teased in an Ill manner looking around the room with a sad expression, A sick feeling wrapping around her body like a child would. "You know, I could of let you Waddle over here in all pain, plus your leg, I thought I explained.." She said looking behind Ukaia at the leg they both spoke of, narrowing her eyes as the stitches that seemed so alive flexed like her musle would of. "It only hurts because They are pushing you to move, so move." Without warning River just Let go of her.

Ukaia bit badka growl now was not the time to tease her
"Right right whatever. It still hurts"s he muttered and when she was let go suddenly she very nearly fell over.. catchign ehrself on the door jam. She did growl as she limped carefully into the bathroom and shut the door with a little more force then nessery..
It didn't take her long for her to use the restroom and wash her hands and face and arms a bit. She sighed feeling better that way.. and took some regular pain killers with water. Forgetting about the warning.

Smirking River expected much more from Ukaia then she should but It was a way for her to learn to use the stupid stitches in her leg. " Are you finished? I'll get you some juice if you..." Hearing the water run then a cup she narrowed her eyes with a loud frustrated growl," Ukaia...Please tell me you didn't just drink water." Placing her hand over her face her eye brow twitched in irritation. Okay, maybe Ukaia wasn't as smart and strong in her memory as River thought of her.
