The small figure of the miniature Seph sits in the shadows, watching this. "Child?" He rose an eyebrow at this, then leaned forward again. "And Fox-Demon?" He frowned some, memories flashing across his brain, but quickly shook them away, returning his attention to Reeve and Nyl.

"You won't be able to hit yourself with those without hitting me, also. I'm fast enough. Look at me, Reeve." She waited for him to do it; her voice didn't raise above the level of quiet conversation. "There are two people sitting here who will not let that happen, and you know it. Sarya would never be able to accept your death, not when things are going so well." Her eyes hardened a bit, as though daring Reeve to argue with her. "I did not return just to lose one of the things I came back for, and shortly after to lose another. You're strong enough to not let whatever 'he' is hurt Sarya. You love her too much."

Seph hopped off his perch in a distant tree. He'd been spotted. He marched his way over to the two of them. He remained silent, but had decided to become a present factor in this. However, Reeve might not've recognized him. He wore smaller versions of his clothing, but they still were a big big for him, dwarfing him a bit more than he already was.

Nyl's expression softened again. She could hear Seph coming closer, his five-year-old self.
"Yes. I would be, too, if there were something inside me I couldn't control. ...If you thought you stopped it, what started it again?"

Nyl Phairen "Promise me you won't do something stupid if I let you up." At this, Seph felt his fists clench, as if it were instinct. The blades that had been sucked back into the two tiny dots on his wrists pulsed, ready to emerge, to defend.

"You know what I meant, Reeve Rhion." Nyl's voice rose just a bit. She'd noticed Seph's switch to being defensive, which would have been adorable for the five-year-old if he hadn't still been his deadly ninja self, except shorter.
