Haven't been in here since... geez, I dunno when. ninja

How's tricks? rofl

Terrestrial and multitudinous.

I suppose one could be worse off.

You still live in Las Vegas?

Yeah, still stuck here being worse off in Vegas. xp

(I know that's not what you meant, I am just running with it because it is so fitting.)

Though my anemia and nosebleed issues are improving since we got the clean-up after that toxic mold scare finished. So the likelihood that it was related to the mold is increased and maybe if when I get my next work-up in May, it will all just be a blip on the health radar that I can stop worrying about entirely. So there is that.

Well, that's good! Nosebleeds are no fun.

What have you been up to the past couple of years?

What have you been up to the past couple of years?

Past couple years...

Let's see... What are the high and low points for 4-7-14 through 4-7-16?

- My best friend and little sister had a second child.
- Another of my friends finally was able to have a child after years of trying – does Gemstone still count as an AGA guildie?
- Riding out a lot of health problems new and old.
- Toxic mold incident and having my entire wall demolished and rebuilt.
- Making a lot of progress on exercising... Damn, two years of retrospection has me feeling almost accomplished here.
- Made progress on my constructed languages.
- Made enough progress on fontmaking that it landed me a commissioned project.
- Did not write enough despite writing a lot.
- Had my grandmother almost die three times and now the groundskeeper's family has moved into her home to act as caretakers of her and the property.
- Had three severe scares with my cat, Zander, but he pulled through all of them. cat_sweatdrop
- Passed a stone so severe that it slit open my ureter and I got a 2-month UTI – in the end I got accepted for Medicaid though because it put me into a realm of "near-disability" allowance. It makes me feel bad to be on it, but it has also been a relief knowing that I don't have to avoid going to the hospital when I truly need to.
- Had a coco-rico. That seems like not something to mention, but if you're not in the Caribbean, they are hard to find.
- Had more dental work than should be possible.
- Had a falling out with one of my longest known friends because his wife went on a vaccines cause autism rant and I chimed in, not even denying their platform, that there are much higher sources of toxins to worry about first. So I am looking at the end of a nearly 20 year friendship because they don't want to face that they just don't like their son.
- Broke up with my girlfriend in 2014.
- Might be looking at having a boyfriend at the moment.
- Saw The Force Awakens today and it rekindled Star Wars for me. Which is about the highest praise that movie could get because i am bitter and horrible.
- Focused a lot on small, varied skills like Illustrator, map making, calligraphy, 3D modeling, and such as I do.

That I think brings us up to speed.

That's awesome! Well, most of it. xp

I've lost a few friends over stupid arguments like that.

Oh, and I got married and moved to the States. I'm one of you now!

That was surprisingly fast. Most of my friends post-1985 took upwards of 15 years to get through the system. Congrats! biggrin

I think the link/host died. And without stewardship, I am at a loss how to fix things like that.

Wow - a lot of good things for both of you. Whereabouts in the States to you live now? (you don't have to be specific - just curious if it's EasCcoast, West Coast, etc)

Yes, we're young at heart, but the bodies around those hearts are all spongy and wrinkly and made of oldness.

I think it was Stephen king who said, "I still have the heart of a young boy; it's in a jar on my desk."

My body is made of Chocolate, Pizza and Cheezburgers .
