::Hmm...upgrades. The attacker was nothing if not fast, Shouyins hand swung up to catch the attacking blade and would catch air. The sword had already been pulled back and the attacker was already in the process of leaping forward off of Shouyin's car, and over the Half Golems head. It was amazing how agile the man was. Though this was likely do to the mans apparently lightness. He twisted in mid air with the grace of a leaf riding on the wind, and landed a good 10ft away from Shouyin, facing the half golem, and immediately dashed forward aiming for a good old fashion slice across the midsection. He wasnt exactly the most unique fightering the world, but he was rather fast. And dangerously agile.::

Cue slow-motion cameras as the swordsman leapt, Shouyin's head turning to follow him through the air as his stance shifted once more, right taking the lead as he landed. Agility, that was an annoying attribute. The half-golem could powerhouse it up and remain fairly quick, but this guy still outmatched him in terms of speed, which was a nuisance.
While the blade had a rather significant reach, ten feet was still a good distance, and as his foe advanced, so would Shouyin, taking a quick step forwards with his left and then pushing off it and throwing his right leg up and in front once more, leaping into his opponent knee first. He should only be a few inches (maybe half a foot) off the ground, depending on the height difference between the two opponent's, since he was aiming to drive his knee into the man's solar plexus.
This guy had speed, but he was still attacking horizontally, and the half-golem was just gonna drive right on through, leaping inside the strike, bringing his forearm's up with elbows tucked in for upper body protection, and wacha'ing it up. Of course the stone that'd protected his neck would retreat back underneath the skin, a new layer forming around the right side of his torso and his right thigh for protection from the slash.
Note: I'm assuming the sword is held in the left hand, or in both with the left on top, since you never mentioned otherwise.

((Right on top, I'm personally right handed. But since all the slashes were two handed I didnt mention otherwise, we'll roll with it. 3nodding ))
::It appeared the flimsy shadow clone, did have something...he was able to learn, and quickly. He had sent a sword slash to his opponents neck, an area not very well protected by bone, and it had done little more than c***k stone. It appeared he had learned that his sword was useless.
He would proceed in his seemingly straight forward dash at his opponent, and would proceed with the slash. But on that final step as his foot should have pushed forward to add force to the cut, instead his foot gave and the figure ducked down low. Instead of hitting the solar plexus, the last minute dodge placed the knee right over the mans shoulder. His hands proceeded with the slashing motion, but his grip was loosened almost completely so that the sword would just clink off the opponent yet again. By the time the sword was slated to impact, his hands had already moved onto their next course of action. His right hand slapped against the inside of Shouyin's right leg, while the left moved forward to grab his hip, and much like a football player the man pushed off his legs aiming to lift the half golem back, and carry him the few feet necessary in order to smash him into his car. He wouldnt stop his run as much as redirect the force of motion as to assist him in getting off his feet.
For someone so light, and agile, he was surprisingly strong. Though for anyone watching, very closely, they might notice the sound of crackling, and the few black splinters which fell from his pant leg as he attempted to heft Shouyin's wieght.::

Enki Leviathan *Enki walks back to the pier, having completely missed the firefight and old bum, but does indeed catch the scientists futile attempt at gathering water. This, actually, was the exact same thing he went to the science lab to figure out, but every one of them had the same problem. Enki walks over to the man and glances down at the mostly dissolved beaker, then to the water*
Need help with that, sir? "Oh, hello," the scientist said, "I don't beleive it can be helped, Ymiristan has been collecting water samples to send back to HQ, but anything we collect is a negative, normal water, it seems. I believe the ocean is filled with an undiscovered species of plankton which is causing the current phenomenon, but seeing as we can't collect a positive sample in areas of recent activity, I have no way of testing my hyopohesis. As you can see, we've lost contact with the national headquaters."The scientist pointed to the beached Serpant Nuclear submarine. As this event preceeded the attack on Yaits city, there was no knowledge that Ymiristan was soon to cease existing as a nation. "I'm quite baffled as to how to collect a sample,"

OOC: S'all good. IC: The outburst of strength didn't fail to surprise Shouyin, especially since he'd thought the guy to be an agile quick-hitter, and therefore hardly capable of stopping the half-golem's momentum, then lifting him up and reversing it. No time for shock and awe though, 'cause, as usual, stuff was happening!
So from his odd position sort of overtop the top-hatted foe, Shouyin would quickly reach past the man's right cheek, grabbing the foe's hair from the back of his head and pulling backwards, forcing the man to look up at the half-golem. Following this, his right arm would raise up somewhat, hand open with index, middle and ring fingers extended while remaining a tad bent.
And then there'd be a soft sound of glass shattering before a very squishy and gooey sort of noise, as Shouyin thrust his right index and ring fingers into the clone's eyes, -through- the glasses. Middle finger would press against the bridge of the man's nose, guiding the attacking fingers along as they striked. Hopefully pain and blindness would encourage the man to stumble and fall, knocking the half-golem against the edge of his car much more softly than originally planned.

::Unfortunately, his hair simply ripped out as easily as you might rib a dolls hair out. It really didnt hold much weight at all. Crackling could be heard from the mans ankles and knees as he charged forward. Much like a machine, it isnt a matter of muscle strength, its a matter the endurance of the parts in question. As it stood, his legs appeared to be taking the wieght rather harshly.
The hand however, would find the biggest surprise. Digging into ones eyes should be squishy and wet, these were, the eyes were brittle and hard, and instead of squishing they cracked, popped and gave in. It was like poking a whole in cardboard, entirely too easy. In a few seconds he would even hear the clink of its "eyes" hitting the inside of its feet. And while Shouyin's eyes should have been covered in blood and tears at this moment, he instead found absolutely nothing. His fingers poked in, and from the inside could feel...empty space. Its head was quite literally empty. If he needed a hint tht this "thing" wasnt human. That was it.
It seemed to ignore where there should have been pain, and just charged forward aiming to smash him into the car just the same. Meanwhile a few dozen feet ahead, a few screams were heard pouring out of the bar, soon silenced by the sound of a slicing sword. And fron the front door of the bar with the shattered window....walked the man from earlier.
The term "man" being used lightly. As the front of his entire torso, chest, and crotch was missing. It looked as if it was simply shattered away. And it was. It was like someone slammed a mannequin with a sledgehammer. But while cracks echoed out across the body, the shoulders, back, neck, and arms, were still attached. As were figures legs, though barely. And it made its way forward, still carrying its sword, and shuffling its way over...these things didnt quit.::

His plan half-ruined, Shouyin was smacked into his car all the same, shattering the driver's side window and bending the edge of the roof inwards. That was gonna cost a bundle to repair, especially if the roof needed replacing; old car parts weren't cheap. And, while Shou was pretty well off finacially, having his baby all damaged up -really- pissed the guy off. So while the slam hurt, and made him grunt rather harshly, it wasn't gonna stop him, not when there was violence to be had.
These things were just full of surprises though. That one which was stepping out of the restaurant (whom Shouyin followed with Sokugoku awareness rather than actually looking at him) reminded the half-golem of the Terminator. Though, with the current one's eyes shattering so easily, he hoped they weren't as durable.
Grabbing onto the "thing's" head from the inside with his two fingers, Shouyin would pull its face over to look at his right as he reared his left arm back. Using the fact that, at least for now, the thing was holding him up against car as a base, he'd let fly with a heavy left hook, aiming to strike against the clone's right ear. In an effort to bring this fellow's level of damage up to par with its "brother", he was pretty much trying to punch its head right in on itself.
A fist-plosion, so to speak.

::It obviously wasnt the most highly defended creature on Gaia. But it wasnt that fragile. The impact to the side of the head went undefended, but it didnt collapse the things head just yet. A spiderweb of cracks echoed out from impact point across most of the face. Its head jerked to the side, but it refused to stop.
The thing, flung its arms up, aiming to dig its hands into Shouyin's eyes to return the favor. At the very least it would impair Shouyin's vision so that hopefully he wouldnt be able to see the first clone running up behind the second aiming to run it through, so as to run Shouyin through as well.::

And so Shouyin was quite disappointed; the idea of a fist-plosion had sounded really friggin' awesome in his mind, but it seemed like such a thing was not meant to be. Then he was disappointed once more, as the thing remained functioning, and started getting all grabby and eye-pokey.
Well, the half-golem was rather tired of being pushed up against the car, and with the thing releasing his leg and hip, he'd probably have a little more freedom of movement. As such, while continuing to grib his foe by its eye sockets, he'd jerk its head to his left now, and throw himself over in the same direction, left shoulder first. Of course the clone would most likely be coming with him, but he just didn't want to be in that postion anymore.
Impecable timing really, since by the time Shou's shoulder hit the ground and he rolled to his right and onto his back, the second construct would be thrusting its sword either through the broken window, or overtop the roof of the Impala. With thing Number 2 lying on his torso, Shouyin would push its head up a little, so he could smack it with a left hook once more, releasing his finger hold and hopefully knocking the thing right off him. During this attack though, the half-golem would be sure to keep thing Number 1 at least somewhere within his vision, so he wasn't caught off guard by an attack with that sword.
Hopefully soon he'd be able to get back on two feet.

::Shouyin probably wouldnt be too surprised, but his fist did not simply impact the cracked face, it crunched right through it. And almost immediately the shadow doll fell lifeless onto him, and seconds later quite literally vanished in a tuft of black. The second shadow doll, turned rather violently from the car to face the grounded Half Golem. His sword wretched back ready to slash downwards when he quite literally exploded. There was no audible bang, but pieces of him went in all directions and seconds later turned into what seemed to be black smoke, that simply slithered away, the shadows spiraled around for a second before shooting off around one particular woman. In the comotion she'd probably slipped in unnoticed. But everything about her screamed trouble. Maye it was the slight curls in her impossibly black hair. Or the way the shadows slipped in with her dress, a dress that rested on her form so gently it seemed the slightest wind would just blow it away, but it didnt. Or maybe it was how that look on her face balanced deviousness and innocence on a knifes edge. She stood out in a crowd like few girls can, but no one seemed to be directly looking at her and she only stood long enough to give Shouyin the most innocent smile. And then she turned around, slipping into the sea of people that had gathered around the fight.::

Fist-plosion ahoy! With delight Shouyin would annihilate his foe, somehow hitting hard enough to even destroy its companion without even touching him. Mayn he felt pretty hardcore right then, though there was a slight moment of tension when the thing had raised its sword to strike.
The half-golem would still be on his back as the bits flew about, following them curiously until they fell upon the woman. Probably another fitting moment for a slow-motion camera, probably with some blur to marr the figures of the people running past her in terror or excitement as she stood there smiling.
And then, as mysterious women are prone to doing, she disappeared. Shooting up with quite a startle, the man would attempt to peer over the heads of the crowd and locate her, but it was to no avail. And even with all that battle vigor coursing through him he wasn't crazy enough to just go screaming for the "dark lady" or some crap. He'd simply turn towards his busted car abashedly and let out a sigh.
"s**t." Digging into his pockets, the man would unearth a cellphone, the very one Vahn had given him all those months ago (unless it broke and he forgot and just got a new one). He'd dial Latent Triple-A, wait for a tow truck to come, and just leave his belongings in a locked truck as the guy took his car away. Some sort agreement was made to get the car fixed, regardless of cost, and back to him by the end of the day.
Those guys were -reliable-.
Anyways, this all done with, he'd take a deep breath, and walk into the bar, looking for a seat.

::The bar was almost entirely empty except for 3 people. And only one of them was sitting at the actual bar, the others were at nearby tables each staring into their cups, as if they were too trashed to even lift their heads to look elsewhere.
The place reaked of booze and old wood, from one end to the other. The scent was hardly inviting, niether was the bartender. He just cleaned some a shot glass and waited for Shouyin to get in range before setting it down on the table and calling out, in a rather flat tone.::

Shouyin selected a seat nearby the other man at the bar without invading his personal space. So probably like two or three seats away from him and hopefully still near the bartender and shot glass.
"Ah... just a whiskey thanks," he'd speak politely then spare a glance at the man somewhat beside him before looking down at the counter in front of him.
"Hey!" directed at the barkeep, "y'happen to know anything about a Leviathan?"
Pause.
"Enki specifically."

::The bartender flipped a bottle of whiskey from under the sink, poured it into the shot glass and slid it down the table. The guy at the counter just tapped the table twice, and the bartender pulled a black and red bottle from beneath the table and poured the both of them into his glass without a word. And then he turned back to Shouyin, with a simple, flat.::
Yup.
::Before picking up a glass another wet glass and starting to dry it off. He was still facing Shouyin as if he was waiting for a little more on what Shou wanted to know. He wasnt very friendly at all. But if you spent all day in a place like this, you probably wouldnt be either.::

"Nothing special," Shou said as he caught the sliding glass in his hand and quickly downed it, grimacing slightly. "Just heard a lot about him, wanna meet the man behind the legend," he coughed gruffly.
"Any idea where I might find him then?"
Dreadfully to the point, but the half-golem wasn't much for dancing around the issue.
