Sorry I haven't been on or anything. D: I meant to post the pictures as soon as I got home, but a lot of crap happened.  Mr. Kitty had a seizure a few days ago, so we all kind of knew that he wouldn't be with us for much longer. I guess I just didn't think it would be this soon. When we came home on Saturday Rand was holding him and he was barely breathing. We all loved on him and cried. He's been with us since I was a little girl. He's always been like my little furry brother. ;_; But he lived a long good life and we've always loved him. He's been sick a long time but not suffering really until recently. I think he had a little kitty stroke because he was real limp and his eyes didn't respond to anything. Yesterday we took him out to my aunts house and buried him there. He has a headstone and prayer flags set up all around and lots of goodies for him to take to Summerland. I miss him a lot and I feel kind of numb really. I keep telling myself this didn't happen and that it's just a dream. Anywhoo sorry for spammin. sweatdrop It's just been a weird couple of days.

Yay for pictures! I'm gonna mosey on over there and take a look-see .. xD
*hugshugs* He definitely was a sweet kitty man. When he was a kitten he used to attack our ankles though. He was really crazy and would go on tears around the house. But he hit middle age and slowed down a lot, eventually he stopped attacking us altogether except when we annoyed him by petting him too much. xD But strangely enough, I never minded it. I mean it's just kitty nature and eventually we knew exactly how far we could go before he attatched himself to our face and went OMNOMNOMNOM
xD ahhh I love that little man. In that picture he had a sore below his eye. None of us could be sure what it was. Sometimes it would swell up really bad and then go down. I think it was some kind of staff infection? It came up just in his last few weeks. I'm glad he's not hurting anymore though.
Whoa, sorry. I'm in reminiscing mode today. @.@

I wouldn't say that you have no soul. I'd say that you love animals differently. It's become clear to me over the years, that very very few people care for and respect every day pets to the extent and in the same way that I do. I tend to anthropomorphize my pets and treat them as tiny furry humans.

You know, I do the same thing. xD I can't remember any pet that I had that I didn't love like family. I always had a hard time at my dads because in the country, pets come and go really quickly. The longest cat we had was Puff, a giant persian black-and-white kitty. She got ran over when she was older. I still miss her even though I only saw her in summer. I think we named her after that "puff the magic dragon" song. XD
I try to forget that they don't live as long as us. But then it's really hard when it does happen because I'm totally not prepared for it. @,@; Lately I've been lavishing attention on our other kitties because I'm a little paranoid now. xD

So I have two whole glorious days off now! I forgot how precious days off were. @.@ my feets are killin meh. I need to get some of those dr. sholes or however you spell it.
xD I think though that I'm going to go to Petsmart and do an application, because I honestly can't see myself in the deli for very long. I feel like the BIGGEST HYPOCRITE IN THE WORLD going to work there everyday. Because I feel really bad about handling the unrespected and unappriciated remains of the dead. ;___; I thought I could handle it but every day I feel worse about it so ~~~~
I really hope I can work at petsmart and be at one with the animals and the natures and the hampsters and the parakeets and the dogfoodz xDDDD ..
and then I have to go to JPS for more crazy meds so YAY xD!

huzzah days off! i can't wait until my vacation week. next week is gonna be awesome! xD
err.. good luck finding a job that doesn't make you feel like a hypocrite? i'm not sure how to encourage you here.. sweatdrop that's what i'm trying to do though. err, go you! xD

Um.. Okay, best of luck with Petsmart, but you should know they aren't the best to their animals. If you want to work with animals that are treated well go with a smaller non-chain pet shop, or one that sells supplies only. Trust me, you'll feel alot better that way. I mean I know that Petsmart only adopts out Cats and Dogs via shelters and rescues but their small animals and birds aren't really kept in suitable conditions. Their reasoning, being that the animals won't be in the store that long, so it's okay to put them in smaller than necessary environments. I could rant for hours or days on that but I don't want to be pretentious. So... Yeah try a Mom and Pop pet store or something. :3
